Trichs seem to be further along then last grows, I can only assume the extra light and/or higher heat has cause them to finish a bit faster. No reservoir change this week in the end, just top ups and nutrient top ups - If I stop being lazy, I might do a complete change out tomorrow (D85). They're getting really frosty now. Got environment mostly dialed in thanks to an additional cool air intake fan, can get 450w mh nice and close for good penetration. Beginning the process of Lst, I’ve wrapped some plant straps around the base of each plant to anchor them, and straps at the top of their stems, giving them a slight bend. I’ll slowly increase the bend over time in order to avoid possible damage. The Gelato OG seems quite vigorous compared to the Widow so far. Starting to bump up nutes, runoff @400ppm -10/28

Soo week 2 girls seem to be doing good ! Been faffing around with temps and humidity as struggling to get a stable reading for both especially with the weather getting more hot! But will keep trying to get this spot on l. Will be re potting The zkittles this week I reckon ! Update : With the addition of the RAM 5L humidifier the plants are loving it and the temperature + humidity is very stable and normally reads between 50 and 60 during the day and 40-50 when lights are off following this with the the temperature during day between 27 and 29 when lights are off stays between 20 and 23 I made some adjustments such as going down to 400 watt on my ballast and it works well when it’s like an oven outside so quite happy with these readings as before my temp was over 30 and humidity would not get past 35! Week 3 slowly commences where the nutes will be introduced I have opted for plant magic ! Price was reasonable and after reading reviews it does bring results , I didn’t fancy spending too much on nutes as I’ve spent a load on everything else haha but hey we shall see how it goes Happy growing 😜🤩

Today is the beginning of week 5, 1 week since i began this diary. She is making excellent progress, , I am not sure what the yellowing is. Potassium, phosphorous, salt buildup, pH issues? Not sure. I just received my pH meter and Up Down solutions. So now I can keep better track of her. I highly recommended this strain, she grow so really fast, trains well, and her aroma is the best I've personally found, a mixture of cotton candy, skunk and mint. She's is amazingly beautiful in her bud stacking and wow! Those trichomes. She has a CBD content of 11% (average strain %). For the beginner and for medicinal value this strain is perfect to get to know a little better

Loved the strength of the strain. Was my first try in a Space bucket and had some issues with my pH levels which affected her, all tho she's a true fighter. After a few adjustments she continued to strive.

2025-10-15 🌿 This is the first time I've grown Black Russian from Delicious Seeds, and I am positively surprised! 🤩 Great plant structure, very good bud size, easy to grow and harvest—and she's sooooooo beautiful. 💜 The season was kind of rough for the plants 🌧️❄️, but they had great conditions. T hey were sitting in a fluffy bed of enriched soil mix, full of beneficials like microorganisms, mycorrhizae, and microbacteria. 🍄 The soil bed is prepared in autumn the year before 🍂 and refreshed in springtime 🌱, so the ladies can dig in deep and grow like queens. 👑 This year I added 2 SCROGS—and that was very good. ✨ They were also covered by a roof 🏠, which was very necessary this season because it was very cold and rainy in spring and summer, with only a few weeks of lots of sun and heat. ☀️🔥 I think that's the reason all my outdoor ladies took 4 weeks longer to mature. I was very pleased to harvest the Black Russian. 🌸✂️ There was only one spot with starting mold because the flower was peeking out of the roof.
