Can you believe this is just one plant!? She may only be 12 inches tall but she be over 20 inches wide. Looks like we're done with the webcam because this week the plant has grown to fill in all the space and swamp the camera. Did a few more LST bends as new shoots would start bursting through the canopy. It really seems to stunt their growth once they get pulled away from being the solo star in the limelight. My light is just two COBs so once things get off to the side you can really see the effects of the light dropoff. Plant still looks healthy A.F., I saw one leaf that had a couple brown spots on it but it disappeared beneath new growth so fast I don't really care to do anything about it-- I think my pH might be a little low. The little sucker is growing almost an inch a day, so I've been having to raise the lights every morning. I've decided to switch to flowering light schedule to 12/12, even though I've heard that a mature plant will have nodes with leaves that alternate and this plant seems to have them still coming out at the same place. To this end I've added 10x CREE XP-E HE Photo Red diodes to supplement my 4000K COBs. COME ON BLOOMS

Not sure why the other seeds didn’t germinate. One of the other Bananacane’s started to but died off upon sprouting

The girls are looking great! I took off the last few leaves under the net. It’s been raining almost nonstop for a week so the humidity is a little on the high side. I’m going to flush them today and then switch to the flowering feeding schedule.

Weekly update on these wonderful girls. They've progressed beautifully, especially considering the day time temps have been in the mid 90's. Not seeing any signs of deficiencies and spraying once a week of either Athena's IPM and stack or PureCrop1 for pest management. So far since being transplanted they've only been fed well water. I'll probably start some Grow A & B nutes and calmag this week. All in all Happy Growing

This week the Purple Lemonade is entering the crucial late bloom stage. The buds are already showing great color expression and are starting to put on noticeable weight. Trichomes are developing steadily, giving the flowers a frosty appearance, while the fruity, citrus aroma is becoming more pronounced. At this point I’m discontinuing Big Bud and switching to Overdrive for the next two weeks. Big Bud has already done its job during mid-flower by promoting volume and setting the bud structure. Overdrive is more suitable now, as it pushes the plant to increase resin, terpene concentration, and final density, ensuring the Purple Lemonade reaches its full potential before the flush.

Drying back and plants have grown a ton, did some defoliation and cleared the tops. Apologies for the sound muffling in the video. Wish I had a trellis net to put up, would've done it around this week to even up the canopy during stretch.

12/25/2023-Germination Day 1 Merry X-mas 2023 I decided to start a run of SolFIre Gardens Hoodz Candyz S1. I am going to do a cup filled with RO water a touch of Hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 24-48 hours until I see tap root then I am going to put it into a rapid rooter.. Tap root Down and put it about 1/4 of the say down the Rapid rooter. I made some modifications to my basket on this run.. I have taken a few Pods that I use for my cloning machine and decided that I am going to try and use them as sure plants, so that I can take my water right up to the bottom of the basket this time and see if these can make my planting more consistent.   12/26/2023-Germination Day 2 Tap root achieved Planting Commencing 12/27/2023-Germination Day 3 Misted the dome lightly misted the rapid rooter and added a little water to the bottom of the pan to encourage root growth to the pan. 12/28/2023-Germination Day 4 Ground Hogs day 12/29/2023- Germination Day 5 She is up, she has broken surface, I misted the root riot, and around the bottom of the tray to try and entice root growth down rapidly. 12/31/2023- Germination Day 6 Ground Hogs Day 1/1/2024-Germination Day 7 HAPPY NEW YEARS!!.. I did it I planned it out so my planting day would fall on New Years and it worked.. Yay!!! 1/2/2024- Germination Day 8 Since the roots are not to the water yet, I am pouring one cup of water lightly on the hydroton around the lady to try and encourage root growth down to the water.. 1/3/2024- Germination Day 9 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. 1/4/2024- Germination Day 10 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. I will just continue to top feed until roots are in the water.. Shouldn't be more than a few more days. 1/5/2024- Germination Day 11 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. I am going to change the water Sunday and kick off Week 1, I will just continue to top feed until roots are in the water.. Greetings fellow Green Thumbs! As promised, check out those roots :) I had to zip tie my light to the ceiling of the tent haha I can't seem to find the 1-foot extension set. Hopefully I won't need it. Still got about 5 inches of space left. Trimmed some more lower growth to open up the middle. Pre-flower pistil action. Looks good. Plant looks pretty healthy. Res temps hovering around 72F with constant white root growth. Decided to ramp up nutes to full strength (GH Flora 3-Part "Simple Drain-to-Waste" Schedule | Week 6 - Early Bloom minus FloraLicious Plus and RapidStart) <== in case I haven't mentioned already 👌 I think for my next run, I will run an airline through the net pot prior to filling with HEC and have it centered directly underneath the plant (Korinthius has been doing this since day one!😉) Thanks for tuning in.
