HEY guys so another week has passed and the end is in sight . had to buy some alternitive mag and calcium supps as calmax isn't available at present here 😑 but been run a week now and no problems as of yet . The girls are loving their new home and enjoying the heatwave we are experiencing here in Ontario. There was a big rainfall yesterday to break the heat so that was nice treat. I did spray them with a neem oil soapy mixture as I found a few bugs on the underleaves. Could have been aphids but I'm not 100% sure. Also found a few leaves that were munched on by Japanese Beatles. I've gotten rid of 2 of those Beatles already but seems to be the time of the season as they are all over my veggie garden too. I'll probably move them closer to my garden beds next to some companion plants. Maybe it'll help with the bugs.

Grow going well. Girls getting frosty.

Have been folial feeding with 1/4 strenght nutes and cal mend to treat deficiencies. Did a resevoir change Feb 14. Added 2.5 ml per gallon each of Floragro, Floramicro, and Florabloom. 10 ml per gallon calmag. 8 ml per gallon B-52 and 1/2 tsp RAW microbes. pH balanced to 5.63. 24 hours after Reservoir change pH was at 6.3 and there was some brown residue on the roots. I ph balanced back down to 5.6 and rinsed off the roots gently in the reservoir. Is the Brown Gunk nutrient build up on the roots?

End of week 4 and I have a bit more to report this week. On day 22 I topped this girl and she was a little slow to react, turns out my thermometer was in a bad spot and the girls were getting hammered by the heater 🤦‍♂️ lesson learned. Since re-positioning the thermometer they have bounced back and happy as Larry again, thank goodness. On day 27 i had brewed up my first compost tea and fed them a bit more than usual. The tea had a cup of Herbi's brew starter, a cup of work castings and a cup of organic compost. They loved it. I used the remains as a top dress afterwards. Today, on day 28, I defoliated and started LST, she's praying to the lights right now and I'm stoked! Hope you've all had a good week and thanks for checking in 🙏

We are now on day 41 of flowering and the lady is doing very well, with the buds taking shape. Today she received nutrients again Hesi Bloom Complex 5ml/L, Hesi Phosphor Plus 2.5ml/L, Hesi PowerZyme 2ml/L. Her water intake has increased significantly. Starting with BT# 45, I will slowly reduce all nutrients so that I only administer pH-adjusted water during the last week. Then it's off to the darkroom for 2 days, followed by the cut 🙂. I found the grow very, very relaxed. Definitely a strain for beginners that will forgive you a lot, very resistant to disease or pest infestation. Now we are slowly entering the hot phase. From BT#50, we will pull out the pocket microscope to check the trichomes and look more and more regularly to see how they are changing. Now we are looking forward to next week with new updates. these are big beauties and were off for flowering. my god. just pure unstoppable. which brings us to the V1 story. because they're so strong, we decided to use this company as our Rambo for testing. reference the V1 diary also. now its confession time. I hated Autoflowers, i only ever grew them as freebies and my experience was always underwhelming i always thought they looked terminally ill vs a well grown photo-period.... but i can seriously vouch for 420fastbuds product. its at least 30% more solid all around v other auto flowers, i even pout a green leopard Auto flower beside it a week behind to show the difference.

06/01(85) - I've decided to flower for a little longer, i have cut back all the large fan leaves for this final stretch. some of the side buds are getting heavy and almost as big as the main colas. 07/01(86) - I am just dyeing to harvest her but will hold off a little longer, included a video to get a scale. I've been massively impressed by this strain so far. leaves are still a dark green 08/01(87) - This morning at 8am she has been banished to darkness, will check on in 24 hours but expecting to go 48 hours. gave last plain feed yesterday and pot is still heavy so no more water. hoping to harvest on day 89/90 (sorry for mass picture dump) 09/01(88) - Completed 24hr of darkness and checked buds for mold. water has now been used up and pot is light. Noticed the smell is easier to distinguish. going to leave for another day as I am waiting for some sieves/gloves/trimmers before I harvest. 10/01(89) - Checked this morning at 8am and the COCO was bone dry. I have now cut her down at 4pm and weight was 401g but that with stems and leaves straight from cutting (might weigh tomorrow once trimmed). I have began the trimming but have to do it in parts due to time restraints. Quick One (81 days) is now back inside the tent but is still too big. will see if its worth keeping in the next week How do others check wet weight?? I will be completing a harvest page in a few days once I have fully trimmed and dried to get final yield before curing.

Bent the day before water. 9-12 Big water, around 2-2.5 liters. Brought soil to where it should be. Will try to maintain 45-55% on eco witt. 9-14 This thing is growing great! Little sad I had to remove a top leaf. Just no way around it. Pistols for 3-4 days. Starting flower tomorrow and top dressing! Lets go! Leafs up!

*** 17.10.2017.*** Today i decided to start week 4, one day away from the actual begining of the next week... She showed few calyxes that are shooting white hairs so i guess her flowering window just started so i gave her a good solution of flowering nutes, boosters and sugar. I am so thankful that my effort is paying off, 7 days development on this automatica strain is the best progress i have seen so far in my short but rich growing experience. She responded very good to all my moves, i decided to show you all what a proper LsT can do to your shape and groeth, and supercropping aswell.. The fishbone look is something that really caught my attention and will be perfected in my next grows. Día 26. Estamos en la 4ta semana. Por ahora mantengo la solución y la planta sigue creciendo pero ya está casi para cortar los esquejes. La semana que viene seguro estoy cortando, y ya tengo que preaparar todo para pasar al otro modulo del infoor. Decidi dejar de aplicar HST y apliqué una recnica con colgantes que bajan las ramas y las mantienen perpendiculares al piso. De esta forma las ramas laterales empiezan a subir. Está técnica me ha dado muy buenos resultados anteriormente. El crecimiento ha sido acelerado y las ramas estan bastante gruesas. Mañana voy a cambiar la solución. Vengo realmente contento con los resultados. Este experimento me va a permitir saber cuanto puedo llegar a sacar de este espacio y ver si me permite armar un ciclo para poder llegar a la próxima cosecha con remanente para poder ir guardando variedades diferentes. De paso ya tengo una referencia de cuantas semanas toma hasta poder cortar esquejes, y así saber en que momento poner la próxima semilla. Puse unas semillas bastardas que tenía, y las pienso mandar a la terraza a florecer directamente en el invierno. Otra experiencia que si bien no ha dado grandes resultados, ha sumado al stock. La semana pasada no llegué a subir mucho. Pero mañana hago un update de cómo se han movido las ramas bajas. En el último video se muestran bien las ramas que pretendo convertir en esquejes. Seguro saque varios, así que habrá para regalar si logramos que enraizen varios. De por cierto las manchas blancad que se ven, es tierra de distomeas que ha quedado desde la aplicación en 2da semana. Día 28. Termina la 4ta semana de crecimiento con un muy buen ritmo. Hoy cambié la solución y mantuve la formulación anterior (1g/L de feeding grow y 0,5g/L de green jungle bioestimulante de crecimiento). La planta está fuerte y ramificada. Sostengo que los esquejes se van a cortar un poco antes de lo previsto. Calculando que son 5 semanas de crecimiento y 1 semana de enraizamiento de esquejes, voy a tomar 6 semanas para preparar la próxima madre. Así que siendo esta variedad de unas 10/11 semanas de flora, voy a poner a crecer la nueva madre en la 4ta semana de floración. La planta tiene distancia internodal corta/media por lo que observo, así que es un detalle a tener en cuenta. Ya me empieza a dar la ansiedad de ver que todo va saliendo y quiero ya poder pasar a floración. Va a ser jna nueva experiencia hacer una planta desde semilla en hidroponía, ya que siempre hacía sólo esquejes y la madre la pasaba a tierra a florar en otro lado, debido a que por las raíces no podía sacarla del sistema que tengo ahora. Pero resolví eso y voy a ver por primera vez la potencia de la hidroponia en una planta desde semilla. Le hice corte apical a las dos ramas más largas esperando ver una mayor ramificación, ya que tengo un espacio de 1,2m x 0,55m por llenar y administrar. Espero que todo siga en marcha. Nos vemos en la 5ta semana desde mañana.

Esta semana una pequeña defoliación superior, solo dos hojas por planta y me decidí tarde en hacer poda de bajos , como quedaron los brotes bajos a la misma altura puede que coloque malla scrog como tutor para ayudar a soportar el peso de los futuros cogollos.

Yellow boards against flies have been put up and blue tags to prevent trips. Unfortunately I still struggle with them but they have become significantly less pushed.
