We have said several times that we were convinced it was growing with some handicap and then it broke through but this led us to transfer it a little too late to make it large. She then stayed small and made us a giant cocone full but full of resin and with an unmistakable smell of Skunk Wow. Everyone should bow to Fatbuds for how they make their little girls produce resin. The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. While it’s a cosmetic detail that doesn’t affect quality, it’s a fascinating display of how genetics and environment interact. A Frost-Filled Wonderland The room is absolutely glistening with frost. Trichomes are piling up like snow, giving the entire garden a magical wintery appearance. I genuinely believe the ThinkGrow LEDs and TrolMaster spectrum control deserve a shoutout here. Was an easy grow, took lst and defoliation well. Only took 70 days from seed to harvest with roughly 10-15% amber trichomes. In the last couple of weeks of flowering she absolutely stank! And she got frostier by the day, if you rub a fan leaf and smell your fingers you get a sweet mango at first then rub a bit more and you get more fruits, citrus and maybe berries 🤤 I really can’t wait to smoke some, I hope she tastes as well as she smells. I’ve made up a dry box with a computer fan stuck in the side at the top and draw vents in the sides at the bottom covered with filter. Humidity is around 54% and temp at 20°c currently in the box, all sealed for 5 days. After opening the box on day 5 I closed it up for another two days as it wasn’t quite ready. Trimmed up after 7 days of drying and I’ve been left with 64.09g of good bud and 7.61g of fluff and a lot of trim! After a couple of days in a jar the humidity is at 59%.

09/12/2018 Purple tip cutting seems to be taking .#1 is filling out well lots of fresh flowers stacking up nicely.#2,#3,#4 all doing well👍hope they finish up in 4weeks🙏 No feeding this week just molasses for soil microbes, 09/17/2019 Did some defoiliating and green tie 's to spread out lower branches on #1 . she is a beast. Seeing, some differences between #2,#3,#4 .#4 being darker green, #3 is paler green #2 not as pale, #1 lighter green but not pale at all. Given deep soaking today, and I noticed phase 3 flowering is starting!🙏 should start stacking them fat buds for next couple of weeks hope she done at 10 weeks fingers crossed.

Same height, same 5l/day, slowly swelling up those buds! Not sure but I think we are running into a bleaching issue again ("sugar leaves are oh so sweet!" issue, remember my first grow?). Well, I guess she may be a bit sensitive to strong lights - I have increased distance to my lamps and dimmed them to 75%, means she get 180W and not 240W actually. Defoliation goes still very easy - removing couple of fan leaves every second day, no other trainings at all. I had also removed some of very low and small side-side brunches - testers on the way :) She started to smell stronger in the tent - super tasty!

Flowering is going great so far and temps are staying low with the light on full blast. I'm running dangerously close to running out of space though, the last grow stayed so short and bushy, this one got very lanky during flower, I have 3 inches before I go past 12 inches between the canopy. Hopefully the stretch has slowed down. Noticed some burnt leaf ends so I dialed it back on the calmag to 3ml per gal. Also noticed spring tails in the water, but after reading I'm not worried about those little guys in my soil. This plant is massive and takes the whole tent up

I will be getting 1000 phyto mites to kill the spider mites in my tent & in the meanwhile i chaugt about 50 ladybugs & put them on my plants, i hope they both do the job right haha

Been another smooth week. A few of the plants are starting to show signs that they are moving towards to finish line. Seeing some swelling, pistils starting to brown, and some beautiful purples coming out in some of the buds. Been debating on giving them a dose of dry koolbloom, but I will probably just keep them running on the maxibloom until flush since they look pretty happy. This slurricane is busting with sweet fruity aromas. Not going to be the best yield but I'm sure she will pack a nice punch.

Hey everybody! It's my second grow under my 3x3 grow tent. GreenArchitecture(GA) Grow Tent Phlizon 900W Series (176.5 true watts) Vivosun 4" Carbon Filter Vivosun 5 Gallon Pots Taotronics Humidifier Small cheap Fan (soon to be replaced with a 6") As you guys can see, my carbon filter is not hooked with an exhaust air because it broke down during my 10 day vacation that i had it run on my first grow. I'm gonna replace it as soon as possible. Hope you guys enjoy my new journey :)

FBA 2025 turned Frostbanger was a fun grow in many ways. First, my friend gifted me the seed and I grew outside while she grew inside. It was fun to watch the plants grow in different settings and different growing methods. If you have been following me, then you know our weather has been crazy here. We have had lows of 50* and highs of 90*. We had a hail storm and lots and lots of rain. Today, I was. forced to take my Frostbanger down. I found a couple of buds rotting and it is supposed to rain for the next 4 days, so this grow has come to an end. But first, true to Frostbanger's description, "Just keep in mind, this strain’s dank, pungent odor is super strong—meaning a carbon filter is a must to mask the aroma in any grow room and she’ll make her presence known when grown outside" and boy did my backyard smell. Also, just like its name, it is a "trichome-studded beauty." Sticky, sticky, sticky. It also had a nice fruity smell, almost like a cantaloup. I like to wet trim, so I spent the past 2 days trimming. My wet bud weight is 102.19 ounces. Not A big harvest. Had to throw away some bud rot and I had to take this plant down early --But that is how a hail storm, cold weather, hot weather, Rain and more rain will effect a harvest. I'm happy to be somewhat successful. FYI: today's weather: It has rained 2.05 inches in the past 24 hours and expecting 1.6 inches in the next 24 hours.. I am pretty proud of Frostbanger's cola as it is 10 inches long and approximately 9 inches around. Wish I could have seen it with 2 more weeks of growth. I may not have the growing experience of others, but I am super happy with this grow and glad I could enter a contest. It was fun!
