Hi all 🧑‍🌾 Welcome to my 🍌💜👊 week update. Hope everyone keeping well and having a great week😁 Thank you so much for so much support on this bananas ride 🙏💜💚💜💚 Everything still going pretty well. Girls are developing and stretching like crazy. Athena currently Dec 14 90cm and main stem of Xena is not far of this height either. Unfortunately noticed first signs of calcium deficiency(my opinion) on Athena. Thankfully started feeding both girls with calmag weeks back but the dosage wasn't not enough for Athena. Started small treatment very next day on Dec 11 (see description below) I belive got my baby back on right track. Week 9 Dec 11-17 Dec 11 Watering was planned for Tuesday but due to calcium deficiency decided for a little treatment. Watered both girls with mixture of reduced content of growth nutes by 50% calmag at 1.2 ml per ltr. Reduced solution PH to 6.2 as apperently it's ideal for calcium consumption. Over period 4h I have watered Athena with 5ltr with couple runoffs. Xena 3ltr. Total of 7-10 leaves affected mainly at top colas close to the light. Dec 12-13 Purely observation and all looking well. Of course all affected leaves will progres of showing signs but good news is that growth and development booming and don't see any new leaves with symptoms. Very nice trichomes development in recent days and more and more colours. Dec 14 Second watering for this week 6.5l Increased calmag to 1.4ml per ltr and if still things will be looking well reduce to 1 or 1.2 on next feeding. Dec 15 Very nice respond on yesterday feeding. They definitely fatten over night and getting more and more frosty. Will need to remove some foliage soon as getting extremely bushy again. Dec 17 Xenas main stem top cola almost touched the light today. Tied her to left side of the cabinet, applied selective defoliation on both girls, tied few branches to netting and on the end of this busy day a third watering for this week. 7 ltrs beetwen both. Runoffs Xena PH6.4 Athena 6.3. Very nice week have to say. I belive that calcium deficiency on Athena is no longer a case here and both girls developing very nicely. No more nutrients just water the last week. Plane sailing till harvest now I hope.

(Harvested on day 74) Small enough buds and not very dense by the looks of it. Leaves covered in crystals so didn’t trim buds. Left hanging for only 3 days and then clipped off buds and put them in drying mesh to speed up the drying a bit. Rome is 20 degrees with humidity at 50% Jarred 10 days later. Buds seem damp on the inside but I think it’s just because they are super sticky.

Flowering is going amazing, this candy cane is growing some very fast weight and caking up with Trichome’s. The sweet and slightly minty berry smell is growing in power day by day, and I’m very happy with how the size of the buds are developing since adding the increase of 2-8-4 and fish bone meal, just a little bit, not too much at all and she’s reacting great, knowing that the candy cane is a larger auto in size makes me a bit sad with the total size of this plant, but in its young age as my very first auto I believe I probably stunted it, but after all this and how she looks now Im more than happy with the growth, yield and quality of it, just speaking now as I do not obviously know how much I Will revive from it, I’m guessing about a ounce. No small bud sites other than maybe one on a lower branch that already has a main top cola on it. The main cola is massive and packing on a lot of size. I’ve switched the light to a hour less now as I am growing 2 photo indica L.A grape and with the season change I am having to fix my temp and humidity more for the photos, so changing to a 17-7 schedule has actually helped quite a lot and also has helped my other autos veg slightly better. But all in all I’m very exited!

we improvised with threads the mesh was badly placed but everything served and fulfilled its function, now the leaves have grown again and the mini jungle is re-formed, we really liked how the previous pruning turned out although aggressive to the plants it did not affect them they recovered almost instantly, and it works in our favor because of the space, so this is already the end of the second or the beginning of the third week, in the next one I will upload the pruning and everything as it is already at the end of almost the 3rd week of flowering, at least of the larger, the others, as you know, are 2 to 3 weeks apart, so for them it is 1 or 2 weeks of flowering, which is noticeable in their development. the risks that are written down in the diary are the fertilizer once a week, and 1 3.5-liter drum or a gallon is used, which is divided into the 2 largest and another equal gallon with a different proportion for the 5 smallest , in the newspaper it is written down of the great ones.

Sticking with a Seedsman strain this run as they seem to be the most consistent in my personal experience. Seeds always sprout, have had a 100 percent success rate germinating seeds from Seedsman after popping at least a couple from 4 different strains of theirs. On top of that the quality has been there each harvest so we are giving one of their most popular strains a go and we shall see where it takes us. Although this run I will be trying amended coco coir instead of my usual peat based mediums in an attempt to avoid a pH fallout when the dolomite lime wears out or is used by the plant and allows the peat to become more acidic mid flower. At least this is my theory.. I guess Ill find out. Another thing to note is that for germination I start in a glass of water for 12 hours and then transfer the seeds into the paper towel method by placing them in a damp paper towel until the tap roots are long enough to plant into starting pots.. by far my most successful method personally.

I’m not too sure how much EXACTLY I grew with this run but I did buy a TerpLock curing bag and it was a one pound bag with about 25% headspace for the buds and they were a bit on the fluffy side so I’d say a little over a quarter pound

Green gelato is an awesome strain that keeps evolving. A real pleasure for the eye to see. Royal gorilla isnt showing so much progress.. going a bit slow. Is like half the progress of Gelato. And they have exactly same conditions. Going to start using more supplements at the start of next week. Was hoping to veg only 4 weeks, nut feelslike ii will have to double atleast.

Week 8 (May 24th - 30th) This week the roots began getting larger. This was also the week I began to really use eggshells and coffee grounds. I saw more bugs come out of the dirt (sometimes just happens) and I noticed the wood I burn as well as grounds, the more I use the better and stronger. I also know that coffee grounds and eggshells contain certain nutrients that are necessary in plant health and growth / life. The roots were starting to come out of the bottom of the pot-hole. I started looking for larger containers.

I'll be giving her one more week of veg and then I'll flip the lighting schedule from 16/8 to 12/12 I will also be using Advanced nutes PH perfect from now on as Im out of the Professors nutrients A+B Thats about it for now 👊

The method used for watering the plants at this stage is done strictly by spraying the nutrients provided above. Lights distance : around 60cm

This week was a lot of fun, I never had a plant fade black on me, I knew lemon pie could have purple traits, but this plant is stunning now that it’s finishing. Far from what I expected in a really good way. Going to give her a few more days, because each day the fade just gets better and better. I can’t wait to try this out, should be ready to share harvest with you soon. One of those plants that’s hard to chop down in the end.

Growth is just going amazing. Both phenos are doing just astounding. I'm overall delighted with these genetics. Days 35-37 Growth is going amazing as you can see. When preflower stops. I'll move it under a 300w light from mars-hydro. Hopefully within the next 2 weeks. I have moved over to giving bloom now. She is showing light mag issue so I added Xpert Nutrients Calmag and have been feeding the 20L pot without it fully drying up. I love soil growing. Day 38-39 She's pushing on at an alarming rate. I did not plan for it to be these big. They're going to get 50-100% bigger. So, it's not necessarily their size now. But in 3 weeks. I need to start using IR in my flower tent to push my fems into high gear. Adding 2hrs of extra light should easily cut days to a week depending where they are. Got to also becareful as if I add IR to anything in preflower it'll stretch like crazy. So, im at least 5 days or so before my flower tent will have no preflowering plants just all girls into heavy flower. This plant will STAY away from any IR 730nm for at least another 2-3 weeks. So, she'll do all her preflower under the p1000, which will be an issue in itself. Day 40-42 Took her down to separate her as they're far to close, to big and too many shoots not to do anything will only set the mid-lower parts back weeks during the flower process. I did do some very very light lollipopping at the very ends. The shoots were the smallest. And removed their fans obviously. That's the only defol I've done more or less over this ENTIRE grow. Which is very rare for me not to remove some leaves. With autos, you really shouldn't. Some can take it & still do well. But left alone. And good lighting/airflow throughout the plants. Has really made a huge difference. I separated them as best I could with as minimal stress as possible. It'll take a few hours to look all pretty again when she settles. She'll look really good. No HST/Defols done in any major way. Left it all. And just let them do their thing. Working with it, the smell is LOVELY like a black berry smell. Is absolutely lovely scent she's giving off. But, she is a good candidate for stealth growing. Only when she's worked on does she pong. And you have to be close to smell it. Day 42 and she's doing AMAZING. Really happy to see both phenos looking beautiful & separated really well. Hoping she'll push through pre flower in the next 10-12 days.
