Day 101, been cutting off fan leaves on lower nodes, adding ice cubes and spraying cold water on buds. Expecting about 5 more weeks till harvest but I don’t know just guessing Also I don’t know how to change the question so I’m gonna put it here, has anyone tried to defoliate some smaller colas then tie them together will that be beneficial for bigger bud(promote one another) or is it better to leave oxygen to pass through, thanks

Giving them half a gallon once. Every 4 days now with smaller amounts of added 19-4-23 to every other watering

Finally into the last week of flower. It's been a long road, but the end is near and I couldn't be more excited. She has definitely bulked up over the last couple of weeks. The trichomes are milky with a few Amber's showing. I am busy flushing. I'm going to put her into 48 hours of darkness before I chop. Wish me luck.

Week 3 of flower

This week went pretty well, other than she stretched like crazy and I am now getting worried about running out of vertical space. I also had a few of my bottom leaves get a few brown and yellow spots on them. I did post some pics and asked a question, thank you for the responses, much appreciated! I am thinking about adding my Spyder Farmer LED 100 Watt light into the tent for the nebula auto because it is about 23 inches shorter than the sour diesel. I believe it would only raise my temp about 2 degrees, and possibly lower the humidity by one or two percent. I must say my dehumidifier has been a freaking stud, running 24X7 and not complaining. I should look into adding another unit, it has been in the mid 90's and muggy for about a week. So far I have to say I am super impressed and excited with this setup, the genetics, and with growing this wonderful plant in general. Already planning ahead to my next grow, and what I can do better. I have been enjoying myself and I really appreciate everyone who has taken the time to answer my questions! I am having a blast and am excited to see what this lady will give up in a few weeks!

Switched to flushing on monday morning, watered 1.5 gallons of distilled water only through the soil each morning. For those who do not believe in flushing your plants, remember in elementary school when you added dye to the water of flowers and visibly saw them change colors? Same idea. I have been checking the maturity of the resin heads closely under 60x magnifying. Turned off the lights for good on her last night (Wednesday), planning to leave her in the dark a few days (72ish hours) and then planning to harvest a few hours before the lights would have turned on. For my first indoor grow, my own custom living soil build, massive amounts of cover crops, only aact (actively aerated compost tea) with natural farming inputs, and some ferments to boot I think this is one amazing plant. Looking forward to drying her for a few weeks the splitting her in to multiple jars to test 30, 60, and 90 day curing with a 4th jar to smoke from when I get impatient.

Week 1 of flower she going good

HEy guys so another week has passed and it is getting close to end for my lemon ak girls . Begun flush this week passed 10 gallon through eachnplant and strip back all main fan leafs to e,pose buds . The remo is a monster ready to flip for sure and i will repot blueberry llater to 3 gallon til i swap again to 9 gallon after auto done . All look good sorry again light i haven't got a good led yet and i have be cautious where i stay .- 😉

Welcome to my Gorilla Cookies Diary sponsored by Pure Instinto & Mars-Hydro. Flower Days 25-37 Days 71-83 wks 11-12 Plant is getting nice and fat. Buds are started to swell real nice. Still a about a week to go before she enters Ripening. Trichomes are 60-40 cloudy/clear. Ambers about 15%. Has been nice watching her develop into a lovely little plant. She is little, at just 53cm, she grew very little in her stretch, as did all of my fems. 1 grew 5cm in her whole pre flower, a dom sativa too. But, back to this girl. She has a lovely structure with a sweet smell, her buds pop with bright orange pistils, she still has a good bit of stumble, so, I reckon she's got about a week left in putting on mass. Diet/Defoliation She was on a healthy but low dose of feed never exceeding 650ppm with both Short Flowering and PK booster powder from Green House Feeding. I've decided to drop their booster for 3 of Atamis finishers with a touch of Plagron Zym & Silic Rock the Finishers ppm falls inthe range of 350-430ppm and then I add short flowering to give a boost for N, which brings the ppm up to 550-600 & PHs of 5.9-6.2, I've ordered Raw NPK & Micro nutrients to have more control over my feeds. For terpine/taste profile I went with the best product on the market, Terpinator "The OG" feeds off this are very high I feel, 380-410ppm PH 6.1. Very light defoliation has been done, as she really had already a low leaf-calyx ratio. So, I'm happy overall with her progress, all a little slow, but, she's getting there. I reckon 9 weeks total in Flowering but, as soon as I see 90-95% cloudy she'll be harvested. I won't be waiting for her to turn mostly amber. (As the weed degradation kicks in) I've been learning bit and extras with every grow, and they just keep getting better and better, the quality of her look already speaks to my improvements. Still a long way to go. But, I feel I for sure can reach beyond Dispen weed you get from a store, or local dealer. Lights: SP 3000 & IR/UV45 are been used to great affect this round, they're doing 8 plants in a 50x100cm2 space as opposed to the 11 I did in a space of 100cm2. Can already see much improvement in the bud. Glad I decided to retry this light in its more desirable coverage conditions. The IR/UV45 has stepped up my game so much, I really can't praise this product enough. (IF YOU'RE GROWING FEMS, AND UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF DLI, and don't implement this "1-2hrs extra flowering for all fems, without risk of reveg" then, well you really are behind in the times. And, its not as if its a new concept, Far Reds have been used by knowledgeable growers for decades to increase the flowering time and therefore your DLI. The UV-A is a really nice addition also. My bud as at least gotten 50-70% more resin, and on the Trich front, just look for yourself at my last harvests. Thanks to both my sponsors from MarsHydro & Pure Instinto. Hi growers. It's end of week 5 of flowering. So far, all girls looks quite well, only OG is showing that he is missing some zink.. Hope to heal her... Red mandarine is showing her true color as well.. Live that purple!! Stay stoned and keep growing! One love!

The Gorilla girls all popped the soil overnight from potting. Day 1 with a bang. lol The cheese broke on the second evening and even now at day 11 , 2 are still struggling to escape the soil fully. Frustrating to watch helplessly. The Gorilla girls are all nice and settled in on day 11 ( today) . I am watering occasionally and keeping it wider than the plugs width to encourage the roots to explore out. The Amnesia are still dormant so I have excluded them from rhe grow this far. dissapointed is not the word and no idea why they failed so badly ??. The potential growers are settling in now so hopefully a good weeks growing will bring them to heel.

I use a new EC meter wich shows higher numbers, so now my water shows 1500ppm with 1.2 grams/L drypart and 1ml/L calmag, the thing is if the runoff is about the same as what goes in yr all good.

I've been pulling fan leaves this week . 1. To slow the top down . 2. To encourage side branch growth. 3. So they can remain in very small pots in a small space until I have space to let them grow properly.
