Often, marijuana growers who have their plants in indoor grow tents or rooms with artificial lighting, take into account parameters such as temperature and relative humidity to maximize plants growth and bloom, thus obtaining abundant harvest with top quality flowers. As we will see later, these factors affect different processes of the plant, such as transpiration or nutrient uptake. However, we usually forget about another important factor that is related to the aforementioned ones: vapor pressure deficit or VPD. Broadly speaking, VPD is the difference between the amount of water vapor that the atmosphere is able to retain (which depends on temperature) and the amount of water vapor contained in it (relative humidity). It is usually measured in kilopascals (kPa). Providing our plants with a correct relationship between temperature and relative moisture will keep us on the right VPD parameters, increasing the plant’s activity and thus improving its growth and showing its full potential during the flowering phase. The ideal would be to adjust both parameters (temperature and humidity) to get the best possible VPD value, so that the development of plants will be amazing.In the chart above you can see the right temperature and moisture values to maximize the development of cannabis plants. The green zone shows you optimal values of VPD, in which it would be ideal to maintain the environment. The orange zone shows correct values, in which plants should not have problems to develop normally. However, red areas show values in which your plants will be very far from hit their full potential, since the relation between temperature and moisture is not optimal. With relatively high values of VPD (between 5 and 12) plants tend to open their stomata and release a considerable amount of water vapor into the environment (increasing their transpiration). This increase in transpiration results in an increase in the plant’s photosynthetic activity, which will need more nutrients and will improve its overall growth, both during growth and bloom. The best range is between 7.5 and 10.5, which we have marked in green. However, we must be careful that VPD is not too high (dark red zone) since the plant would close its stomata to avoid releasing too much water vapor to the environment, which would result in fast dehydration due to excessive transpiration. On the other hand, if VPD is too low (light red zone), the plant will also close its stomata for not releasing more water into the atmosphere, which in this case would be already saturated (it would have reached the maximum water retention capacity in a specific temperature). In this way, reducing transpiration will also reduce photosynthesis, which has a direct impact on the plant’s development and yield. That way, VPD is essential when it comes to offer the best conditions for the development of plants, also to understand its water requirements according to the nutrients used and thus adjust them correctly to meet the grower’s expectations. The effect is quite strong, I just smoked a joint to write a description and suddenly the day ahead of me is feeling quite difficult! I feel flowing with ideas, and very happy. The taste has still yet to develop, as I am only now going into curing. I'll update this once the flavour is a bit more developed :)

The THC BOMB is really starting to flower and form its budz....they are all getting their own set of nutrients because they are all at different stages...I WILL GET PICS OF ALL THREE STRAINS UP NEXT WEEK....meanwhile I just wanted to add a quick update and some close up of the buds starting to form...nutes were given this morning and the next few days of perfectly ph'd water should make next week a good one...providing nothing goes wrong in the meantime...some of the fox farms nutes aren't in the drop down menus...im using the basic soil trio pack at half dosages...

Starting week 3 of flowering and week 6 of over all growth. she seems to be very happy now that I've fixed the pH issue and she is growing pretty fast. I decided to do a decent defoliation and pull everything to the sides again trying to keep her as wide as possible. I also super-cropped a few of the shoots in the middle to keep them at the same height as the branches I pulled down and to the side.

trichomes are looking good but will wait for some amber colour for some more relaxing effects

When I was taking the weight I forgot to zero the weight with the RAW bags 😭 One bag is 32 grams, so my final weight is 168. At my next grow with these... I need to remember makes some support before they fatty up theirs bud 😄

Extremely healthy plant, despite the temps getting up to 32C here and there. No problems at all with this strain. Very excited for the budding.

AKA SKR I’m looking forward to get the results on this one, beautiful plant, full of colas, compact size, and very dense. 100% happy, my first medical strain and i recommend for anyone looking for a easy to grow CBD funcional strain. She got her last nutes feed a day a go, and now is flushing time! 10 days to go, and she still bulking! As far as flushing goes, I will water abundant in the first week with ph water, then flawless finish to take care of any thing left. Looking close for mould and etc… Fingers crossed guys! I would like her to go flawless!

After struggling a lot to curb her deficiencies and spotting, I could rinse off the salt buildup and raise the soil PH, flush, flush, flush little bit of voodoo juice, and only the full organic based nutes made the trick for now, so we are stable, and leaves started to look healthier, spotting stoped but is already in the majority of the leaves. EC is light at 1.1 Stoped taking the runoff since i made the medium treatment, and honestly that got on my nerves now is bulking this colas or die, finito with the over caring thing… One thing to notice is that i have to re do this strain to fully grow it and having a 100% potencial to be able to fully judge, as for now if you do this strain use less of everything, nutes, light, water, less is definitely more with this strain. Smell is the least pungent of the plants i ever done, so if you are looking for a stealth plant this is a good candidate.
