Hi Growmies, we reached week 9 of blooming and the HighCloudz is almost ready for harvest ✌️I plan to let her bloom for another 7 days at least, and after this I let the trichromes tell me if it's harvest time. My microscope is broken and I'm waiting for a new one to arrive. So hopefully I have the chance to do a closer inspection in a few days. Apart from my mistake in nutrition in week 6 and 7 I'm very happy with this round. The buds look delicious and covered with resin. Can't wait to get a taste 😍 🌿🌿🌿 Mid-week update Allright! I received my new microscope in the mail and checked out the trichromes. Turns out a lot of them are still transparant. Just goes to show that it's dangerous to rely on the brown pistils to determine if the plant is ready for harvest. And the funny thing is that she's forming new calyxes again. We will have to see if she's ready for harvest by the end of this week. And if not I just give her another week to reach her full potency 👊

02.11.'24 After 5 days of drying, this little girl who was a little bigger than a meter gave 950 grams and a little bit of popcorn...this picking was 870 and a little bit of popcorn, and 4-5 weeks ago during a storm, one branch broke, which yielded about 100, but let's say 80 for sure, a total of 950 grams of beautiful, huge, potent buds

On week 4 now since repot Seen some rapid growth this week Started lst the main stem Will wait for the rest to catch up and then the scrog is going up. Not sure if anyone can tell me why the one in the top left is slightly of coloured as its been having exactly the same nuits as the others. Perhaps it's down to genetics maybe.

Но прежде я ее промыл хорошо, вывел все накопившие соли с горшка, и ее корней, думаю мне это удалось. На выходе из горшка вода показала всего 111ppm! Так же на этой недели стали желтеть верхние листья, считаю что это и за недостатка кальция. По этой причине стал добавлять CALiMAGic. Я его всегда использовал когда пользовался линейкой удобрений от General Hydroponics. Вообще в конце я напишу свое мнение о использованных мной удобрений, может кому то будет полезен мой опыт. Ran into some Calcium/Phosphorus trouble !? First deficiency in the grow. Topped up with new nutrient solution, added some CalMag and Universol Yellow 12/32/12. Raised PH to 6.1 and EC to 1850. Added 100ml 12% H2O2 to make sure no PH trouble occurs. Switched the Carbon filter around so that I can lift my light a little more. Orion F1 is getting really frosty ~2 more weeks? The Northern Lights take some more time.

Third one in the video, candy kush express, beautiful compact plant, she is growing fast and has a beautiful structure. She won't need long to finish her flower cycle ⚡

29.3.25: This week has flown by. Everything is looking good. I've been watering alternatively with Bud Explosion PK booster and Sea K(elp) by Greenleaf nutrients. Also, plain water I'm between feeding. I watered yesterday and had run off from 2 pots, so I will wait for them to dry out sufficiently before watering again. Trying to mitigate the risks of mildew and / or mould due to too much water / humidity. 31.3.25: I cleaned out the tent and disinfected it again. Had a bit of runoff, which had left a bit of residue on the floor. Today, I took all the photos and videos whilst cleaning the tent. The pots had sufficiently dried, so I will water with the Greenleaf nutrients. I watered with dechlorinated water PH'd between 6.2-6.4. 6.5 litres contained the following nutrients: ♡ 1/4 Tsp Mega Crop Part A. ♡ 1/2 Tsp Bud Explosion PK booster ♡ 1/4 Tsp Sea K(elp). Just waiting it out now. No added nutrients, just water. Bubba and Black Dog have exceeded their expected flowering time, and both are at 95% cloudy with 5% or so still clear. Chemdawg and The New can take up to 70 days or more so we’ll see if they’re late too. Bubba is a foxtailing machine. It was one weekend in early Flower when heat/humidity got out of hand while I was away for 3 days. She hermied a bit and I’ve had my eye out for bananas ever since (find a few every so often). Taking a risk to keep her in the tent with the others but if I catch them early enough the others should be ok. Interestingly I found a YouTube video of a guy that ran bubba and had the same foxtail development (also the same scent description and look overall). Nothing like the gorgeous fat purple budded girl I had last year but the citrus smell on this lime green bud pheno/version is impressive. Curious to see how the smoke compares. Scent combo from all four plants is amazing!

I absolutely love to watch them grow! Especially that moment they hit their first growth spurt. I started with RO water that is remineralized for drinking purposes. The ppm is only 18! My tap is 156! So considering they don’t need much water, I’ve been stealing some of our drinking water. The RO water starts at pH of 7. After I add the nutrients, ppm of 249 @ pH of 5.8 while soil is still sweet @ pH of 7 I think my days are off as a new week begins on the last day of the previous week. I am going to leave that for consistency. 04/21 - Noticing some possible nutrient issues with the Fruity Pebbles for several days now. Going to see what she needs. Up front I’m thinking maybe just a super small amount of Amino Acids with a little Epsom Salt. Maybe she is struggling to access the nitrates from the neem cake. IF it’s a issues with nitrogen. We will see. Maybe she would benefit from some extra calcium?… Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Day 22 and I am noticing how these girls have been burning up a lot of potassium lately, dealing with the wind and sun 💨 ☀️, getting pushed around all day. I plant to top dress with some Kelp Meal pretty soon. Day 24 -> 4/22/22- a quote from the weather on today’s red flag warning and dust storm warning. “ HAZARD...Less than a quarter mile visibility with damaging wind in excess of 60 mph. SOURCE...Satellite imagery. IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel.” I’m keeping the girls inside today. Day 26, I was planning to check the runoff on some of these girls, especially the fruity pebbles, however I messed that up as I also top dressed WAY too much of the seaweed bliss. So I flushed with plain RO water at pH of 7 until there was only slight coloration in the runoff. I didn’t check the runoff as a lot has changed with all that flushing. So next watering/feeding I will make sure I check the runoff on multiple plants. So the seaweed bliss with its 17 on potassium, seems to be the most likely culprit for why there is a bronze-ish color on the inside of the new growth. Hopefully a foliar feed of Epsom salts can correct the problem. Inside tent, lights on LOW. Noticing similar pattern in all of them to a degree, most noticeable in the fruity pebbles.

Yesterday was day 8 of flower and I gave them a solid lollipopping session. On the back left I’ve got the Wedding Cake (Portland), and in front of her on the left is Double Crush. Both of them used to be under the 210W LED, but now that they’re under the HPS they went from being the smallest before the flip to now the biggest in the room, showing the strongest stretch out of all the strains. I also did a bit of supercropping here and there and kept tucking branches under the net when needed. I’m watering them every 3–4 days with around 2.5–3 liters each, depending on how fast they drink. I won’t be doing much more training from now on — maybe one more cleanup and after that I’ll let them run freely and stack.

A great grow despite some silly errors by myself and one crazy pheno weathered the storm to produced some serious quality cannabis that showcases the best award winning genetics that Royal queen seeds have meticulously bred. I'll always have a royal queen seed plant in my tent from now on.

This week was very interesting I had a Potassium and phosphorus deficiency so ended up having to correct that! She seems to be still growing well and is entering the next flowering stage!

Nice strain to grow overall especially for the terps it produced, yield was more on the low side as expected from one for these "hype" strains or whatever you want to call them.
