I wanted to use the flowering nutrients (I think it's the bloom nutrients) but it's been raining a lot lately. The soil is still quite saturated so I'll wait and see if it'll dry out a bit in a few days before I give it some food. So far the trichomes are more visible on both beauties. I've started to trim more of the lower and fan leaves. I would say about 1/4 of the bottom is pretty airy. Working my way up every day. It has been cold the last 2 days dipping anywhere between 10C to 15C in the evening and day time high of 15C to 18C. It's supposed to heat up (25C-28C) in the next few days but then back with some cold days again. That's the problem with Canadian Mother Nature; can't make up her mind. This will test my plants and see how they do with the ups and downs. Hopefully it won't affect them that much. I've also started rotating them in case the sun isn't getting certain parts of the plant. I'm not sure if it matters but it isn't cumbersome to do so why not. So far I've been lucky to not worry about any infestation nor abnormal leaf coloring. I usually do a deep watering only once a week if it's a normal week with no scorching hot days. There was a period of 3 scorching hot days and they definitely were droopy and thirsty. So I must have watered them 3x over a span of 7 days. Very excited to continue to see them grow into beasts!

Stretch is done. Defoliation for F21 will be tomorrow. Other than starting these too early. Happy with the progress! Bud sites galore, nice healthy ladies, fungus gnats on the decline. On cruise control soon!

A lot more happening this week! As shown in the pics, and as suspected, I have a manganese deficiency. I've been keeping my pH level at 6.2 in coco, manganese is taken up best by the plant below 6.0 pH. Dropping my ph level to 5.8 pH, and flushing with lower pH, hopefully it will solve the issue over the course of a few days. I made a new frame for a SCROG, with a "custom bend" in the CPVC pipe on both ends. The bend will allow me to take advantage of the slack material in the sides of my 4x4 tent. I'd previously taken 4" out of all the upright poles to shorten the tent so it would fit in the room due to low ceilings, meaning I had extra slack in my tent walls. The bend in the net frame pushes the sides of the tent out to 5 foot wide. My first SCROG net was a 6" mesh from Amazon, immediately knew I wanted a smaller mesh. Next time around I built my own with a 4" mesh and used the 4" for several grows. This time I decided to go with an even smaller, 3" mesh, and already I like it better. I don't really see myself going much smaller than 3" mesh though. It seems to work well, and any smaller and it may be too tight trying to work the plant through the opening sometimes, which if not careful, will damage the plant. I usually use a & gal cloth pot, grow off rules stated we 0had to use a 5 gal pot. Seeing as I only had 7 gal on hand, I was stuck picking up a Root Farm 5 gal cloth pot locally, as you can see, the roots didn't really stay contained, nor did they "air prune", i had to tear them off before installing the net above. On the last day of week 6 I finally got my net installed, and the plant SCROGged. I should have put the net in place a week or two earlier, it would have been easier to manipulate the plant, however the plant will still have a week to recover. I tie the net in place above the plant, and slowly lower it down, as I bend and super crop the main stalk over parallel to the net, and work all the branches underneath and spread them out. As the plant grows I'll continue to push branches back down through the net and moving them out to the next hole. This will greatly increase yields by allowing light to more bud sites, keeping all buds the same height and thus the same distance from the light. small budsites on a vertical branch, will transform into their own cola once the branch is laid on its side. Instead of a Christmas tree type of plant, with one large main cola, and smaller and smaller buds as you move further down the plant, you end up with a bunch of colas that are all close to the same size, and more importantly, the same level of maturity. The SCROG method, combined with super cropping, and defoliation has greatly increased my yields. As the plant is getting worked into the net, I'll defoliate where necessary, ie a huge fan leaf covering bud sites, however for the next several weeks I'll be defoliating so mush every night or two, systematically trimming off all fan leaves, and stripping everything below the net, and any small bud sites that wont produce well. Usually by the time I'm half way through the flower stage there are no big fan leaves left to be found. It helps with light penetration, which results in a higher quality, higher quantity yield, as well as airflow, which will help prevent White Powdery Mildew and other molds etc. Once a fan leaf is 14 days old, its ability to photosynthesize light, starts to degrade. Once it reaches a certain point, the leaf drains more energy from the plant, than it's giving the plant. My best yields have been from heavily defoliated plants, my last grow I couldn't physically defoliate quite as heavily as usual, and I ended up about 25-30% less bud than expected

Really enjoyed growing this one out. Super frosty, dense, and beautiful structure. In my garden the Blueberry Cookies had the smallest buds, but they were pretty uniform, pretty, and frosty. You open that jar and the terps are there. Would grow again to look for a pheno with a better yield.

Ende Woche 5 / Anfang Woche 6 – Grow Diary Mimosa x 🍊👊🏻 Barney’s Farm Die Woche lief vom Wachstum her wieder richtig gut. Die beiden Pflanzen haben nochmal ordentlich aufgebaut und sind auch noch ein Stück in die Höhe gegangen, typischer Stretch in der Phase. Ich habe außerdem nochmal etwas Erde nachgefüllt (Light Mix von Plagron), um den Wurzeln weiterhin eine gute Basis zu geben. Bei der vorderen Pflanze habe ich leicht entlaubt, damit das Licht besser in die unteren Bereiche kommt. Habe aber darauf geachtet, es nicht zu übertreiben. Aktuell bin ich weiterhin sehr zufrieden mit dem Verlauf. Jetzt wird es spannend zu sehen, wie sich die Blüten in den nächsten Wochen entwickeln und wie die Buds an Masse zulegen. I pumped up the bloom nutrients a little. As it’s my last week before I go into the flower stage. My lights will go 12/ 12 shortly. I added a wooden support system because the plant was slanted a little bit. I also removed clones yesterday. And the plant is healing very very well and fast. Lots of new baby nodes growing! took out the strongest two plants to keep as mother plants. And I continued LST as the plant keeps growing steadily!

I will post a picture in a few days when the dry is done and i also havr to find pictures of grow so i will put them as well

Today is day 64 and our baby Kabul is living her best life! She has got the whole tent to herself to do her thing... For being an only roughly 28 Oz of dirt she's doing very well I'm expecting around an ounce from her... So a gram for an ounce of dirt sounds good to me let's see if we could pull it off.. Rainbow melon from fastbuds is for sure a winner.its a cross from fastbuds melon plant they use in a lot of there crosses and it’s crossed with a exotic genetics plant and they are known for really frosty plants. Fastbuds did a great job of capturing the exotic colors and tastes and smell and tricomb density from the exotic genetics plant and then it added with the large melon nugs to be a really great plant. I already got another pack of the rainbow melon seeds my goal is to breed a good pheno of it with my gas tax x Obama Runtz seeds that I have that grow som killer. I would hope crossing with this plant would bring some colors and larger nugs to the party. This plant is amazing I would suggest growing it. Super strong plant super sturdy large nugs with super strong smell and super stick

Que pasa familia, vamos con la quinta semana de floración de estas FBA2506 de FastBuds. De las 5 plantas, retiré una y me quede con 4 , preselección. La tierra que utilizamos que está en la publicación anterior es top crop all mix, Por supuesto el ph se mide en cada riego y se mantiene en 6.2, regando cada 48 horas e intentando mantener la humedad en torno al 50 %. Las flores ya están progresando rápido y están cogiendo las 4 un tono morado bastante curioso. Los aromas por el momento dulces con tonos afrutados, como a gominolas o chicles. Un ejemplar sigue un poco sobrefertilizado, es la única con la que me corto para alimentar. Las próximas semanas vamos viendo cómo florecen, avanzan y terminan de madurar. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

Terminando la primera semama de floración. No soy fan de las autoflorecientes, pero la Rainbow Mints se está poniendo bonita y de momento, le voy a dar una oportunidad. Otra de las Rainbow Mints está estirando muchísimo. El resto, sanas y felices!!

Solid week. All the clones responded really well to the new res. And they didn’t fully transition the first time so were quick to start re-veging. We’re flipping to flower now to try and keep plant heights down and root mass smaller. *Notes: hopeful to see some quality representation from at least a couple of these clones once the run in the main tent starts to turnover. Still genetically firing from the hip but there’s usually at least one of those prized purple and pink hue phenos in every run of this strain. If I can keep that trait prevalent throughout later generations of this cross - it’s a win.

Almost there. Took a look at her close up and most trichomes are cloudy. Added Overdrive this week to start that finishing process. Each branch has a really nice sized cola on top. Powdery mildew is practically dead in its tracks thankfully, meaning its not spreading. A bit pops up here and there, a quick but precisely guided spray with Safers Brand 3-1 and we are good. You can see it in the overshot on some leaves. This was before treatment. As far as the nitrogen toxicity, ive cut out the ph perfect line for her, minus 1ml of micro...i may even cut that. Notice how dark and thick the leaves are. I have a feeling that if I cut all nutrients now she would finish fine. Tell me what you think!
