We’re deep into Week 8, and Blue Banana Cream is stacking up beautifully. Trichomes are looking frosty, covering the buds in a thick, sticky layer—definitely a strain that’s going to shine post-cure. The aroma has intensified compared to earlier weeks, now pushing out a stronger creamy, fruity scent with a slight gas undertone. Every time I open the tent, it hits harder. The buds are swelling up nicely, transitioning from airy to more mid-compact density. Pistils are still mostly white, meaning it’s got a bit more time before it fully ripens. One thing I’ve noticed—the branches are starting to lean from the weight, so some light support might be needed to prevent them from bending too much in the final stretch. I’m keeping temps at 18-20°C and humidity around 55-60% to ensure a proper finish. With harvest around the corner, it’s just about watching those trichomes shift from clear to cloudy/amber and letting this one reach its peak.

my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are one of the hardest as fucking rocks type of buds! very dense , compact , sticky , smelly , amazing at every aspect growing stage was 56 days and flowering stage was 75 days total (harvested tops at day 64th) the total weight of dry buds was : (plant #1 & #3 top buds 56 G + lower buds 22 G ) 78 G + (plant #2 top buds 47 G + lower buds 18 G ) 55 G + (plant #4 top buds 120 G + lower buds 67 G ) 187 G = 367 G

Que locura de variedad , me encantó cultivarla, que aromas y que flores aparte de piedras, se ven resinosas y muy apetecibles. a sido una genética con la que disfruté bastante todo el proceso, crece bastante vigorosa y al final saca unos tonos llamativos. No supuso ningún problema todo el ciclo fue perfecto. 23.10.2025 After applying even more oxygen she really recovered well. Just right in time for flipping into flowering stage. I now added an aqua forte 10 w pump and I think she liked it. She already smells very strong and I'm looking forward to seeing her get into stretch, starting to smell even stronger. 😅, oh, Lord. 24.10.2025 Today I took off some more leaves and she really smells very strong and is sticky already. This little girl is pure fire 🔥🔥🔥.

📆 Semana 6: La floración entra en una fase más madura y visible. Los cogollos comienzan a hinchar con más decisión, apilando cálices sobre cálices y ganando volumen real en cada punta. La resina ya no es solo presencia: las flores empiezan a quedar completamente cubiertas, con tricomas expandiéndose por cálices y hojas cercanas. This strain is awesome, 2nd time i grow this strain and close to one of my favorites. I grew 2 plants and we have one very sweet plant with nice fruity touches, the other plant reminds me of the sour gumballs i ate when i was a little kid! Nice sticky and extremely hard buds, these buds exploded in THC! Totally recommended, a true gem 💎 of Dutch Passion seeds

Bueno resumiendo cookies gelato es una variedad híbrida muy fácil de cultivar pero ojo, cuidado con los últimos riegos si no queréis perder cosecha por moho. Lo demás de 10 pegada heavy sabor increíble, cogollos duros como rocas y bañados de una gran capa de polen. El ambiente del secado se mantuvo en 23 grados de media y la humedad estuvo por debajo de los 45% en todo momento. Poco más la verdad estuve encantado de poder cultivar una genética tan potente . Un saludazo que paséis un final de año increíble y por supuesto buenos humazooos💨💨💨.

Ladies are looking and smelling amazing, truly zenzational! You can notice the different phenos that came out. One is pure zkittlez while the other three in bud structure are sweet zenzation (zkittlez x grape ape) in those three two of them smell like grape juice. Hope that turns out like some fine red wine taste when cured. Dropped the amount of water a bit and also nutrients. From next week onward only water.

Hey Guys, so I have ran into some difficulties regarding our power supplier. Due to the current situation we are facing in South Africa the power company "Eskom" does not have ample supply to provide constant electricity to our country anymore. This is very sad. So they implement a system called "loadshedding" where the cut off power supply in certain suburbs at certain times. This has got me in a complete and utter flat spin as I'm not always at home when this happens. The past 2 weeks have been immensely rough as we we're scheduled for outages 3 times a day for 2,5 hour intervals. Between 02:00AM - 06:30 my tent's power went off (depending on scheduled time). This has in fact caused some VPD problems ( I tried getting up every night, but I still have to get enough sleep for work ). As you can imagine, it sucks BIG TIME. I've done my best to keep at par & doctored where I could. *Decreased Light Intensity (600W) *Decreased Wind Velocity on canopy Almost approaching the start of week 3. Feeding schedule from 3 day interval - 2 day interval ( 2L per feed ) Selective defoliation to get light on lower tops. Used some garden wire to support 2 main colas which we're too high. Note: Pest/Mould check done. Muy sorprendido, nunca me abia germinado unas semillas asi de rapido y igualadas a la vez, muy contento y esto promete, han pasado solo dos dias desde que las saque de su envoltorio y ya hoy tenian una raiz de unos 5 cm😱🌱 asi que tubimos que plantarlas ya 😁🍍🌱
