At day 20 I switched to flowering and sent my light schedule to 12/12 hours of light/darkness, therefore this is the first week of flowering now. I know that these plants from seeds are still to immature to switch to flowering directly, but they will grow slower with 12/12 until they are old enough to flower. This should happen when they are appr. 4 weeks old from germination, then they will be mature enough to be able to flower. I do this, because the Growfor.Life-Closet is limited in its heigth and I want compact and short plants at the end, so i can keep a minimum distance to the LED-lights from SANlight, which are built into the closet. The minimum distance should be appr. 25 cm from the canopy. At Day 25 the biggest three plants (=Double Dutch from Serious Seeds and OG-Kush from Humboldt-Seeds) have grown so many leaves that they start to touch each other and condensed water is building up between them, the plants seem to sweat. This means I have to defoliate the plants again in order to get a better airflow and also to let the light penetrate deeper into the canopy. You can see a video-tutorial for defoliation I made on Day 25. The scissors I use in the video came WITH the closet, they have a special anti-sticky coating and work like a TREAT! During the defoliation I recognize that one sidebranch of a Double Dutch plant is TRIFOLIATE (see in pics!), this means each node grows three instead of two leaves and sidebranches out of it. That is a rare occurrence in cannabis and can be seen like finding a 4-leafed clover. Although this should mean good luck, I also realize more and more fungus gnats flying around and put some sticky yellow strips (=sticky traps for insects) inside the closet. The plants also seem to get a little bit lighter in their green color in general, therefore I decide to start adding nutrients (=PLAGRON-TERRA-BLOOM) to my waterings now. All in all the plants grow like hell (the biggest one is appr. 30 cm tall at the end of week4) and develop excellently...I LOVE THE EXPERIENCE WITH MY GROWFOR.LIFE-CLOSET until now!

Casey's Rollex OG is doing good. She was switched to flowering times 4 days ago. She had a solution change 2 days ago. She is growing really well. Just waiting on the stretching and flowering now. 8/5-After letting the bottom branches grow for another 4 days they were showing plenty of amber and had firmed up enough to harvest. Did a rough trim and hung the branches in Cannatrol Cool Cure to dry. 8/11-Overall the buds were a lot smaller than previous Mephisto grows. I'm going to let them cure for 2-3 weeks and then do a real taste test.

45 grams total dry ;-) She is clipped and is now lying to dry, there was 211 grams of wet plant material so I expect to have about 50 grams dry - i will update this part later! I have cheated a little, and tasted a bit of the scissors hash and I can seriously relate to the taste of watermelon. Looking forward to tasting her dried flowers so far it promises well ;-)

Beginning of week.. So instead of feed, water, feed.. I think I'm gonna feed, feed, water this week.. PPM going in is 900 PPM and runoff is still coming out around 500 PPM.. Still seems weird to me.. But whatever lol. She is looking a little deficient in some areas (more than 1)... Not horrible.. But it's there.. Some spotting.. Little yellowing here and there.. But that is expected at the end of flower, of course.. Buds look nice tho.. Fucking gorgeous plant! Trichomes are for sure gettin cloudy.. Very few amber in there.. So yeah, this should be the last week of feeding and then beginning the 2 week flush! Mid week.. Not too worried about the coloring and spotting.. Just thought I'd post it along with this lady.. She is looking pretty good tho.. Smells amazing.. Got a few pretty fat colas... Haven't really checked to see how dense.. Don't wanna just squeeze them lol.. But I'm almost positive that the nitrogen toxicity she hit may have contributed to keeping her a bit airy.. Well.. One more update and then the 2 week flush will begin!!! End of week.. Tried to get more trichome shots but trichomes kept smearing all over the lens so I gave up lol.. ALOT of cloudy.. A small amount of amber.. Starting the flush tomorrow with some pics for the next week! This is gonna be some epic bud for sure! Can't wait!!! Gonna use some FloraKleen tomorrow and just pH'd water until harvest! May use FloraKleen a couple times this week depending on how the runoff reads.. But according to my screw up during transition one time with FloraKleen should be more than enough lol.. But we shall see... On to the next week!!!...

Third week we can say that the overtert has been solved. Vegetative growth is in full swing. G4 has recovered but is apparently 1 week late than the other 3 we will see next week.

Well the stretch is done.2 of these girls have big nice nuggs that will be done in a couple weeks and the other 3 have much small nuggs and they look like they have about 4 to 5 weeks left .

5/8/2023 - Day 71: Start to week 11, and this will be the final week. Watered again today with 4 gallons mixed with Coconut Powder. I'm getting close to 5% to 10% amber, so I am just about where I want to be. I plan to chop them this weekend, which will put me at day 76 or 77. The two Grand Prix could probably go I bit longer, but the Ice Bath and Frozen White Runtz need to come down. 5/12/2023 - Day 75 Flower: chopping in two more days. Dropped the temps a bit more and turned the light down one more. Normally I'd be watering, but I'm just going to let them ride it out until the end.

Grown it many times, clear favorite. Sweet baked gas, spicy, hashy, some have a subtle smooth lemon sherbet aftertaste. Relaxing happy and mellow effect. 22-28% Rosin return

Day 112 - 16 wks... interesting plant..... this is a F3 Mazar-i-Shariff ... like from the original.... and this plant turned out... different... been feeding her normally, abit of nutes every second day,. and water (+ph up) every other day..... 6.2-5.6-6.2ph - 1500 pph (nutrified is pretty good, crystallic) really nice plant 👍😎

Welcome to my CBDV diary. Has been blast.. there's so much more to growing a CBD plant, my point is I'm far from where I want to be with the Quality of the end product as far as density goes. (I got the quality part down) she's 1 stinky sticky ass bitch. Wk 9 Day 58-63 Plant was kept on feed till the bitter end. She was confided to the 70cm2 for her last few weeks of life but I've no doubt, if I had of kept her going under the FC 3000 she would of reached deeper down and gave me denser buds on top. There is so much airy ripe bud below I'd say it'll make up for 1/3 of the overall harvest. Which will be quite a lot. Id say in the 80-100g no doubt. She has some major big buds that are stacked with swollen calyexs that are glistening and very sticky. I can she's had enough. I didn't have the light to finish the end that the FC 3000 created on a lot of my autos. On most I clipped it away after I had to confine my plants to their own tents for good. But, she kept eating. Wk10 63-67 I stopped everything nutrient wise. And let her finish the ride out on water until day 67 and she gladly ate what was in her pot and showed no signs of wanting more, so I hard flushed her 1x pot value (11L) and got a ppm of 900ish, so 2x (22ish) more the pot value until it came down to 210. And for 3 more days I left them girls drink what they could from the pot and left them under my 100w where they've lived the past 3-4 weeks and I'm gonna pull them this week, they are resting 30hrs already and then I'll pull them, and harvest them whole, roots and all will be pult and I'll shake the clay off, bag the roots and hang dry upside down, (so no dirt falls on the buds while drying from the roots) and will dry at 55-60 rh with a temperature of 17-19c. I'll try keep the RH around 59 but I'm not gonna worry too much if it differs from that range. I already cut a wee bud off her the today, just a small 1 to try her for taste. And I'll rate it on harvest. As she's low on CBD, I'll rate her on taste. But, she'll be a nice addition to my full THC smoke no doubt. Never really removed any substantial growth from her to even call it a defoliation, there really was no need. I done a decent job at LST and my plants got rotated every day and I pult nodes/leafs this way and that. So, I'm happy with the results. She has a lot of girt and not too much lollipoped with a good amount of CBDV bud in 70 days. Very nice indeed.. Thanks so much for looking at my diary guys. I hope to do better the next time. But, as I am using dry additive powders I'm sure I'll be able to dial in that key nutrient ratio for my CBDS. She's been my biggest auto of this grow. At 71cm tall, and a big ass cola I am very happy. She has a lot of girt and stinks fruits, mainly passion, I'm guessing. As I've learnt, you don't know the true smell of your weed until you get at least a 2 month cure on it. Harvest Day.. Day 70 was done on day 65 then I left as I like my weed little on the harsher side. She very punchy. Has like a deep wood smell but very citruses with hints of tropical fruits. I've harvested 6 autos today. And, its hard to pick up the smell. Very sweet smelling and citrus fruits. (Ill give a more independent smell profile upon the trim and hopefully she'll come into her true smell upon a 2 month cure. Everything coming along nicely. I’ve discontinued all nutes but will give one more little top dressing to the cheese plant tomorrow then that’s it. Just straight stabilized RO water from here out. The slurricane is just packing on PM like crazy. The cheese has actually stopped the spread for the most part. At harvest I’m going to wash the shit out of the slurricane and cheese with some warm RO water and some h202 to get the majority of it dissolved. Other than that the quality of the slurricane is beyond ridiculous. It’s by far the stickiest strain to the touch in the tent. It’s probably winning for smell too. It’s straight gassy licorice pine. The pm susceptibility is a deal breaking drawback though. The cheese is looking good and smells great. It almost smells like rotten milk. Some of the nugs are really filling out into these nice long chunky little things. The pistils are turning a light orange/pink color too. Unfortunately it’s not maturing at the same rate and will make everything in the tent go for another 1.5-2 weeks. Garlics are looking better. The lanky pheno has filled out quite a bit more than expected and is super frosty with a great smell. It’s finally starting to purple up a bit. I think it will still be quite leafy around harvest but time will tell. Pheno 2 has better structure and density but lacks frost, smell and color. Not very impressed by it honestly. The zkittlez is looking great and getting super frosty. Especially around the crowns of the top colas. Lowers look like shit though. Despite being somewhat leafy, the main branches look quite dense. It’s probably the shortest and bushiest plant in the garden. It’s yellowing out quite a bit now and will probably finish with the blackberries and slurricane. The blackberries look amazing and smell even better. One of the phenos is a crazy producer and creates massive buds with musky berry terps. The other pheno is a beautiful purple strain that produces a crazy amount of frost and chunky golf ball nugs at the expense of large yield. It’s smell is very sweet and candy like and has been a very low feeding and maintenance plant. Slurricane #4 looks great aside from its infection. It definitely wins for resin content and smell but looks like a low yielder.
