Hey now, this week went pretty good, she grew 6 inches to 22" tall, so I am going to veg her for one more week and then flip her to flower next week. She seems to be fairly healthy, but she is not growing super fast like I am used to, but I also have only grown autoflowers and mainly sativa dominant autos. I don't think this Planet of the Grapes will stretch too much being an indica dominant plant, but I have another 24 inches of usable space for her to grow if needed. I am getting super excited to see what this little lady can do in flower. My plan is to flip the lights next week, but continue with veg nutes for another week, then slowly start to transition her to flower nutes in the 2nd week of flowering, and be totally switched over and adding bloom boosters by week 3 of flower. Cellular respiration is the fundamental metabolic process that occurs in all living plant cells (roots, stems, leaves, flowers, seeds) to convert glucose into usable energy (ATP). It requires oxygen and produces carbon dioxide and water as byproducts. Root respiration is not a separate type of respiration, but rather a specific instance of cellular respiration occurring in the roots. High-ash biochars, especially those produced at lower temperatures and applied to acidic or sandy soils, can significantly boost CEC by providing abundant binding sites for cations like calcium (Ca²⁺), magnesium (Mg²⁺), and potassium (K⁺). This longevity provides a lasting positive effect on soil properties, particularly by increasing the cation exchange capacity (CEC) over time, while regular organic matter breaks down much faster. Biochar generally offers a much higher CEC than coco coir, though specific values vary greatly; while coco coir might sit around 40-60 cmol/kg, biochar can range from tens to over 200 cmol/kg, with sources like Acacia wood biochar or even coconut shell biochar often surpassing coco's capacity due to its porous structure, creating significantly more cation-binding sites for nutrients, making it superior for nutrient retention. Needs to be charged similar to coco but at a much higger rate. But shhhh.. It's a secret. Recommend a balanced ratio of key cations, particularly calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and potassium (K). A widely accepted general "ideal soil" cation saturation ratio is approximately 65-85% Ca, 6-12% Mg, and 2-5% K. That's roughly what I give mine. Can even add N in its NH4+ form

It’s still drying but i pulled a few nugs to start the cure. I still have one plant up, it’s seeded and working hard on seed production. Keeping alive as long as needed.

Finally got my buddy to come out and add in a 20 amp outlet so I can fire up a better light. Still using quantum boards but with a 4500k spectrum. Got in a foliar with the Growzyme from green buzz liquids. Fed them right before I took the pics they look a little sad but hopefully they bounce back quickly. Not much else going on. First let's prepare the soil. My mixing is done by eye, I don't use measurements to mix the products. I've been using the same products for a while now, so I'm used to seeing the texture and color of my soil to know when it's good. (sometimes I make it up too and it might not go so well😏🔥)! Week 4 and buds are beginning to fatten up nicely, I’ve changed the position of the gelato and one of the Zkittles to improve light penetration into the canopy as the leaves have began to defoliate themselves from the plants. This being said all plants are looking green and healthy and show minimum environment stress. Hopefully this change in the canopy will allow each of the strains to grow to their full potential with the limited space that I have.

Day 106. Thought to go ballistics, but took like 100 leaves totally down and left them for good. I need to chop them ASAP if i want to squeeze one more grow, so all heavy training is canceled for this and for next grow. Tallest plants looks most matured and i am thinking of finishing feeding next week. August 23-25 is a chop day for most of the garden, one Tangie is a lot behind all other plants, but i am limited to time, so she will have very early chop. Happy Growing !!!

Holy crap can you say rocket ship hahaha. Thing grew over 10" I 7 days. I've only got 6" of grow space left before my light is completely maxed out soooo yea fingers crossed lol. She's got tones of buds growing all over and is looking amazing. She has filled this tent out better then my last few grows in this tent. The temp has been holding around 25 to 26.5 light on the last week and humidity has been jumping back and forth between 50% and 60%. I've jumped up to a gal of water a day plus a extra 500ml every other day for run off. My run off gas been between 50 and 100 above my input so that's good. Plants looking happy so I'm happy Well that's all Happy growing everyone!!!!

Not much this week. Video that was included for this week is what i have in my grow room. MI6 is last. Video resolution is crappy and will soon invest in a better camera. Others will be posted on separate diaries if willing to look. MI6 went threw a little heat stress. Hopefully will bounce back. Thank you.
