Hello , well she started producing pistils & budlets at beginning of the week. I switched the light onto it's super lumen setting, which gives it another 60 watts so now on 660watts , stopped training through the net. Heeey all! Sorry for the huge amount of photos but this week was crazy. So many things happened and my lack of knowledge clearly showed up. I ended stressing one of my plants for no reason! 😱 At the start of the week everything was normal until I noticed that one of Roko's buds looked weird. It seemed to be too dry and orange for my tastes and I didn't know what it was. Obviously I started to ask around and I got so many mixed messages haha. Some people said it was nothing and I should not worry about it and others said they were 100% sure it was botrytis or budrot... aaaaaaaand I got paranoid lol. 😵😨 At first I tried to keep calm and ignore it for one day but the next one the bud looked even worse and that's when I feared the worst. What if it's really budrot? In general the values I write in here are approximates or an average of the week.. and usually my tent never goes over 60% of RH (in the dark it stays between 50% to 60% when I water them and on some rare occasions it reaches 65%). This time, after I checked the thermometer it said "75% of RH" but I did not know if it was during their sleep time or maybe some time after the lights went on) so once again I feared the worst! What if the plants stayed all the night with that amount of RH? Was that enough time for them to develop budrot? What if it's still nothing? Yikes. 😭 I had to do something and I did, I wasn't going to risk everything! I started removing the worst looking leaf to see if there was anything mushy or ugly between it and the pistils but I didn't see anything (maybe I was safe and that was something else? Or maybe the budrot was even deeper and I could not see it?) After reading I realized that the best idea was to cut the bud in half and then slice it to "see" if there was anything inside... so I did it and absolutely nothing showed up 😖! Those were good news! Sadly tho the poor plant had to go thru some stress after cutting that bud in half (at least from what I saw the insides were tightly packed and the photos showed some really cool stuff) The rest of the week was uneventful (compared to what I feared haha) and some leaves started to change even more in color (I love it). I think I'll start with the flush next week or the one after that one. There are some amber trichomes...! Thanks all for checking my diary! Hopefully you'll all find the pictures interesting! PD: None of the plants have seeds in them, even when one of the sliced buds seemed to be making them!

Week 3 - Day 15 - She's still looking good, and starting to take off! PHing a little every day and watching her water carefully for signs of algae/cyanobacteria. Things are still looking good, so I think I may have this DWC thing under *some* sort control.

Day 63 - 28 of Flower Changes this week include adding a 4th Maxibright 315w lamp and Agro bulb. I wanted to run 4 but originally could only afford to buy 3. These retail at £250 each per kit so theres now £1000 just in lighting. A huge improvement to overall light spread around the plants and more light penetrating the canopy to the lower bud sights. I've also spent the weekend insulating my space for 2 reasons. Obviously temperature fluctuations being one. I found the temps were anywhere between 17 and 31 degrees throughout a 24 hour cycle and wanted to get a more consistent day and night temperature. With the extra light it needs to be cooler too. 2nd reason was humidity. With the great British weather being as damp as it is the night time humidity has been over 75% some days which now we are deep into flower could quickly lead to bud rot. Insulating the space and running my exterior AC unit has now got that figure to below 56% at all times. I'm very happy with that. Feeding ratio remains unchanged this week. I'm going to continue running the PK13/14 for at least another 7 days or untill the buds finish fattening out. Still feeding 6 litres every other day. No further training at this point just pulling a few colas out of the way of the fan and one main cola from directly under a lamp as it was burning. Also stretch has now finished which is a massive relief as I've no headspace left in the tent at all. I didn't have time to take many photos of the buds in the dark but the ones I have put on show just how frosty these stardawgs get! Really living up to their name considering they are only half way through predicted flower time. The only further upgrade I would like at this point is a proper co2 with digital regulator. I have however read that they dont benefit much from extra co2 from this point onwards?? What is everyone's thoughts on that? Obviously I have my natural co2 generator and will leave it in untill the end of the grow. I realise I really underestimated the size of these plants and 6 sativa dominant species is a stupid idea. The tent is just too packed so on the next run I'll opt for less and go with a scrog. Thanks for checking in! I cant wait to see how the next week plays out.

So I made a totally noob mistake. I can't believe I didn't think about how fast the males would spread pollen. I was still trying to figure out which male I wanted to use for selective pollination on a specific branch. So I pulled the males and I'm attempting to collect pollen using a trim tray screen. Its working quite well and I'll make a video with that as well. I'm not even sure if it's viable or if my attempt and mistake of leaving the males too long will work. So anyways I realize now how delicate it is to have males. They start popping fairly quickly. Come check out my YouTube y'all

She’s starting to flower going into day 28 starting to smell

An in to soil she and her sister testers go, i know that for know everything looks the same , apart from the photos, but this will start changing with them growing. For now all of them are growing pretty much the same and now that they move in to soil and start feedings they will start showing the phenotype and genetic differences, but for now all looking great , healthy and strong af!!! For some reason it's say 9 weeks flower. But it's only 4 weeks flower. Lol. Going well I guess for a 1st grow. Looking nice n frosty at 4 weeks.. Got a alien in the corner lol which knocked me.. Turns out to be a different strain.. 5 n half foot monster.. N still going up.. Have enjoyed this 1st 1 and hope to do more. Has any 1.got n ideas for next. 1 myt try autos. Are they easy to grow? Is is it best to stay away from them.. Happy growing ppl

This week will be trying to fix the nutrient imbalances and adjust mediums ph to about 6.6. This is one of the frostiest plants I've grown yet. I just hope that I don't hurt the yield somehow. Update for the week. I started off with a feeding as the leaves were Starting to show the signs of N and P deficiencies. Ultimately the plant is healthy and happy now but for 3 days she wasn't sure what to thing about the nutes. She started to yellow out and was looking like I made her sick. But she's good at day 7 and I can't wait to see her in 5 weeks

She has grown another 10cm/4" this week! Flowers developing quite slowly compared to her tent-mates. I'm hoping this is a sativa dominant phenotype??? Can anyone shed some light on that please? I left the tape measure visible in the video for scale. Good? Helpful?

Empty watering was done before going into overdrive. ssh took too long criticalwidow fills 30th day in flower.

20/02: The plants are overall reacting well to the larger dose of nutrients especially the ignitor - there are lots of bud sites throughout. I was under watering some plants which has resulting in wilting stems and leaves - will move onto 1 litre of water every other day from next week. 1 OG kush and 1 White Widow is lagging behind but we'll get there. Good strong stalks mostly for all the plants. Gave the a hefty defoliation this week also trimming the fan leaves and letting light penetrate the lower branches and bud sites.

Sour Diesel Haze is looking beautiful!!! Getting closer to harvest, but still has a few weeks to go. She smells amazing!!! I'm looking forward to the smoke report on this girl - next month! 👍
