All plants are fully blooming and create frosty leaves. Caution! Very Sticky! Amazing smell from the apple fritter and critical. Really intense.

The girls survived. Always the biggest stress in the beginning. Getting sprayed with water twice a day. Gonna do the first watering soon. Hoping for growth!

This week has been a mixed bag for my two plants. #1 is really taking off now, showing strong growth and picking up speed!🌱 It’s looking healthy and vigorous, which is great to see. Towards the end of the week, I also noticed the first signs of flowering—exciting! Unfortunately, #2 is still struggling.😩 It has barely grown and remains very small compared to #1. If it doesn’t start making progress soon, I might consider replacing it with another plant. I’ll give it a little more time, but let’s see how things develop in the next week. Fingers crossed!🤞

🌿 Mango Kush — Harvest Report (Week 7 Flower → Harvest) Grow Diaries — From Seed to Soul After months of nurturing, tuning, and watching the Mango Kush sisters evolve, today we finally harvest. What began as two seeds—two phenos with two destinies—has become a garden symphony of light, resin, and patience. Genetic Journey — From Seed to Harvest Pheno #1: Started in veg before flipping; taller, more expressive stretch; structured and vigorous. Pheno #2: Ran 12/12 from seed—shorter cycle, smaller frame, but incredibly dense. Different paths, same destination. Despite the variation, both finished side by side, their trichomes shimmering like frost under the lens. From the very first true leaves to the last amber sparkle, this grow embodied the full spectrum of plant life. Both phenos shared that unmistakable Mango Kush sweetness—fruit-forward, creamy, with earthy Kush undertones that deepen as they cure. 🔬 Trichomes — The Living Resin We harvested with trichomes at about 75 % cloudy, a few ambers scattered, and a few clears clinging on. Why this timing? Cloudy trichomes → peak THC, most psychoactive potency. Amber trichomes → oxidized cannabinoids, deeper body stone, slightly less heady. Clear trichomes → undeveloped, lighter high, harsher burn. By cutting at ~75 % cloudy, we captured the perfect balance between energy and depth—a clean, full-spectrum effect with robust THC, trace CBD, and terpenes locked in their prime. Inside each trichome lives a micro-world of medicine: Cannabinoids (THC, CBD, CBG)—psychoactive and therapeutic agents. Terpenes (myrcene, limonene, caryophyllene)—aroma, flavor, entourage synergy. Flavonoids & esters—color, nuance, antioxidant value. It’s chemistry turned art—and when viewed through the macro lens, pure alien beauty. 🌸 The Harvest — Dense, Loud, and Sticky Both plants produced compact, heavy colas. Pheno #1: 162 g of dry, aromatic medicine. Pheno #2: 129 g—smaller, but louder in terps. Together: 291 g total of crystal-coated Mango Kush bliss. The smell? Explosive. Sweet mango and creamy Kush so strong that, without carbon filters, the neighborhood would know. 😂 And those buds—dense like stone, sparkling like snow. Trimming gloves glued with resin. Even the scissors felt high. 🌬️ Dry & Cure — The 60/60 Philosophy We dried the full plants slowly: 60 °F (15.5 °C) and 60 % RH for 14 days. Why 60/60? Because slow drying preserves volatile terpenes and ensures chlorophyll breakdown. Quick drying bakes the aroma; slow drying matures it. The science is simple: lower temperature = less terpene loss, stable humidity = even drying. After the dry, we hand-trimmed every flower using a trim-bin, collecting a rich layer of kief—a golden powder of pure cannabinoids and terpenes. 🔥 Old-School Touch — Hash & Extracts The kief was gently pressed using only hot water, glass, and hand pressure— we also did some old-school charas way. No machinery, no shortcuts. Just heat, touch, and patience. From this we crafted a small hash bar—soft, aromatic, pure. We also explored extractions with BHO/Rosin, carefully purging over three weeks until perfectly stable. Both concentrates now rest in the fridge—preserved at low temperature, rich in flavor and medicinal potential. 💨 Smoke Report — Smooth, Sweet, and Deep The first taste is soft and silky. Mango sweetness rolls in, followed by that earthy Kush finish. Inhale: Fruity and fresh. Exhale: Creamy, grounding, slightly spicy. Effect: Uplifting at first, melting into a serene, full-body calm. The smoke is gentle on the throat, rich in vapor, and incredibly aromatic. The Tropicana Cherry hasn’t suffered from any of the issues the three Triple Cheese in the room have. I’m guessing it’s something to do with those hybrid properties. It’s bred from Cookies, which was developed under high-power LEDs, while the Triple Cheese line is so old it might not be as stable under this kind of intensity. That’s my stoner thought, anyway. It’s also possible the Tropicana Cherry just has a more aggressive rhizosphere! Who knows. You can see the anthocyanin influence deepening in the calyxes and sugar leaves and I think she looks stunning. The smell is sweet and fruity. This plant in particular is making some serious frost; I’ll never know if it’s the UVB unless I run two rooms with a control, but that’s not happening so I’ll just keep going with it. Beyond the protein stimulation, it’s also pretty good at killing bugs and pathogens. The calyxes are swelling and starting to tower on top of each other. They look like they might burst—really chunky and still a way to go. o/ I’ve spent quite a lot on the environment this run. We’ve had horrid weather in the UK and high RH is a daily fight. I maintain a steady 1.1 kPa lights-off and ramp to a target of around 1.35 kPa for lights-on. The main thing I learned this week is about immobile nutrients. Calcium being immobile is actually quite easy to spot when you’re watching for it. Since I have that Calcium Benchmark to look back on I have plans for the next run to make a source of CaSO4​ available in the form of ground Gypsum mixed into my 40% amendments mix. Since I'm using the Biotabs water-only method having that slow-release Calcium should help prevent those rusty spots from showing up when I drive them hard. There is more I’m sure but I can’t remember right now... lol Grow well.

I was doing LST, and while bending the leg, I broke it at the very stem. supported with a small bamboo so that the fracture touches, is there any chance of loss?

These lady's have real good except error on my part with one that ended up herming out but got it out tent before it could do anything but rest have since to gotten way better and are filling out nicely and my mania she still the best looking ggxww I got initially got about a week left before the ready to be chopped down have been flushing for almost two weeks ph has been at 6.5

My ELUFAH UAP 1500 test grow is showing excellent results, with the plant thriving under my care. The addition of the ELUFAH Saturn Ring under canopy light has been a game-changer, significantly boosting growth. It's clear that the supplemental lighting is providing the plants with the extra energy they need for robust development and impressive yields.

Harvest was easy pulled all fan leafs off five days ago but left bud leafs on top to help drying process and it makes trimming easier as you can see I trim plant as it stands then I cut branches off or the whole plant. Only took 1hr to harvest.

July 21, 2020 update. The indoor girls are looking close to harvest. Outdoors the buds still look loose and airy, but all of the hairs have curled in and are turning red/brown. I'm thinking about cutting them all down in the next few days - mainly because my existing jars are getting low. 😮
