I accidentally gave the babies a drink mixed with a shot of dehumidifier chemicals. I mean, there’s stiff learning curves being a first time grower but that is just thick as pig shit territory. It only dawned on me the next day and I rapidly flushed. Think the orange bud is looking a little healthier, but they are both hanging in there. Chemicalicious.

Day 66 : Lady is fattening. I increased nitrogen (bio-grow) in order to fix some deficiencies. Also i removed Calcium this week. She is a bit behind, maybe 4 weeks, i don't know. Trichomes production just started. Edit Day 70 : She takes weight but not so fast, trichomes develop is slow, and i assume that she is stressed because of air flow on her for much time. I hope she pass this situation. I increased Biogrow to 5.4 ml / L. The other doses remain the same.

This week has been another good week, fed a little cal mag to the girls and so shall see how they do with this and done some more LST, slowly but surely getting there only a few more weeks now until harvest time :) belle is the height they are at the minute. Que pasa familia, vamos con la cosecha de estas Gorilla Zkittlez Auto de FastBuds. Por dónde empezar, es una autofloreciente que es normalita de cultivar, tiene un periodo corto de crecimiento y de floración igual no es largo, o igual tendría que haberla dejado alguna semana más no entiendo bien. En cuanto a la alimentación , pues la aplique una vez por semana y a sido suficiente, se a comportado bien en interior, la flor pues no es muy prieta porque no deja de ser una autofloreciente, pero es una flor que va repleta de tricomas. El periodo de luz pues de principio a fin a 18 horas, fue suficiente para completar el ciclo de vida como esperaba. Sorry I made a mistake on my dates these were started August 31 sprouted septs 3 and this pic was taken on sept 17th, these beauties are growing while I watch them.

Going good this week. Really packing on the buds now. Added some more nutrients that I now have kicking around for a hydro grow. Plant 6 was transplanted last week as I thought it may have been having some issues. I pulled off all the yellow leafs and it seems to be alright. Just glad it’s still kicking. Question: Should I be pulling leaves off my other plants? There’s a few covering up lower bud sites but I’m unsure how it’ll effect my auto flowers. Question: Wondering when to harvest these bad boys. Trichomes don’t appear amber yet. Website for the seeds say 70-90 days seed to harvest. I’m wondering if I can push it to 90 days (13 weeks(ish)) even if they appear ready at 70. Will that effect my harvest?

Progress was a little slow this week. I decided to try out flora kleen and see if a mid flower salt removal and root cleanse would help. I was very surprised at what came off of the roots and out of the totes the plants were in after just an hour. I can for certain say that it did make quite a difference. She’s filling out nicely and we are almost to the fun part.

RESUMEN DE CULTIVO: Esta cepa es brutal, resiste muy bien las manipulaciones y genera cogollos grandes y prietos, también soporta una fertilización poco controlada y ligeramente excesiva. Perfecta para alguien con pocos conocimientos (este es mi primer cultivo) OLOR: No tiene un olor fuerte, una buena opción para quien necesita disimular el olor del cultivo. SABOR: Su perfil de terpenos es muy bueno pero suave, varia en funcion de la planta, algunas tenían un sabor ligero, especiado y tirando a lo picante pero una en particular si sacó matices de olor y sabor muy dulces y afurtados entre el mango y el platano realmente buenos, me encantaría tener una madre de ese ejemplar. EFECTOS: Tiene altos porcentajes de THC, a tumbado a más de un amigo, me parece una buena opción si buscas una variedad potente. LO MALO: Poco malo tengo que decir, aunque tampoco es tan sabrosa como me hubiera gustado. Seguiré buscando otras variedades pero seguro que repito.

7/29 (Day 42)- What a fun and exciting experience this has been so far. I’ve already learned so much and the ladies seem to be doing well. Handling all the defoliation and LST I have been doing and bouncing back in no time. The growing climate has been great and super steady the last week, I’m switching over to my bloom nutes Monday when I flush and clean. They are definitely stretching now and the back left plant seems loaded with bud sites. I’m going to do some research and watch more videos on using a trellis net, I have on ready to go but unsure if I’m going to attempt it or not. 7/30 (Day 43)- Did some more defoliation and leaf tucking today, just trying to keep the canopy open as much as possible, but its a never ending task. They are really starting to stretch though and the back right gal is a bit ahead of the others and its showing more and more. Tomorrow is flush day, and I'm going to be be switching to the bloom nutes. All environmental conditions have been steady at 78 degrees during day and around 71 at night and my humidity is around 60 and 55 RH for day and night. Water temp is 68 and ppm around 900 now. 7/31 (Day 44)- Changed out the water this morning and started the bloom nutrients. They drank all day and are up to drinking about 4 gallons a day. They are really starting to pack on the size as well. All conditions are staying very steady and no issues at this point, hoping to keep it that way from here on out. Fingers crossed. 8/1 (Day 45) - These gals just keep growing and growing. I did a bit of defoliating two days ago and it already looks like it needs it again. Im going to give them another day or so unless it looks like airflow and no light are able to get through, but I worry about constantly removing things. I will wait and see how things are looking tomorrow afternoon and decide then. Everything seems to be in check and running great. As always tips and recommendations are very much appreciated. Lots of growth this week! 😃 So far, the indoor girls are looking fuller to me. They seem shorter with tighter nodes and more nodes than the outdoor girls. Also one of the outdoor girls seems to be a little bit of a runt. I'm hoping she catches up eventually, but I'm noticing the runty looking girl is also not symmetrical for some reason. I think this is a good comparison. I'm glad I'm growing 2 outdoors and 2 indoors so we can see a more fair comparison. If I only had one of each it might be a genetic thing causing the differences. Btw... the indoor plants are under 315w CMH on a 19/5 light cycle, 24" from the canopy. The outdoors are obviously dependent on the sunlight which is between 15-16 hours here now. I don't care that the outdoor girls have stretched more than the indoor - they don't have a ceiling to deal with, nor will they grow too close to the light (unless I'm really lucky 😉 ). I am very happy that so far I do not see any damage due to bugs on any of the plants. I'm still feeding at 75% of the Fox Farm schedule. That seems to be the right level to me. I'm almost out of Big Bloom, just ordered another gallon. What do you guys think? Please comment! Thanks!!!

These plants are amazing!!! Sorry been too busy to post the last couple of weeks. I ended up harvesting one of the 5 plants. It was further along than the others (still pulled it too soon, but it came out amazing. Couldn't help but try it. The smell is off the chain (good)). Still have four going; they are taking their time. The second one that is furthest along is going to be the biggest plant by far. It has buds top to bottom. FAT!!!

This is looking okay on day 7 I just gotta transplant it soon.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil.
