Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! This marks the start of a new chapter, and I’m incredibly curious to see how the plants react to these changes. Here’s the current nutrient mix: • System Clean: 0.5 ml/L • Regulator: 0.15 ml/L • RO Water Conditioner: 0.8 ml/L • All-in-One Liquid: 2.1 ml/L I’m keeping the pH at 6.1 and TDS at 556 ppm, and so far, the plants are thriving. This week she was transplanted into her forever home. A 38 litre airpot. The timelapse is the whole week except a few hours when I was repotting. When I repotted her, I buried her deeper than normal because she stretched so much!!! She was a lot taller than the other 3 girls.

04/28/2020 Week #8 of flowering begins will post more pics latter. 04/29/2020 Did some leaf removal had some powdery mildew on some leaves took infected leaves off, plus some for good measure. Drying out every day or two today she took one liter before run off. You can see in the video the colors? And sparkling buds? 04/30/2020 Day 50 I decided to take the top buds in pics , 47 grams wet. It is a 9-12 week strain but I think she need a week or two? But we will see.

She has a sweet smell very strong girl bud just keep swelling very frosty and no pest on her at all will start checking the buds soon to see were we are.

Removed the 2 Xs 1500's (300watts) & replaced them with 2 P1000 (200watts) lights, now running 680 watts. These lights fit in better & have air space all around to help cool them, these lights run a lot cooler than the xs 1500s & only get warm not hot. Started some clones.

Hello fellow growers! 🌱 Despite a few bumps along the way, I'm thrilled to share that my contest journey is officially underway. After some delivery hiccups with the controller, the third attempt was the charm – it finally made it to my doorstep! 🚚💨 The initial excitement hit a snag when I faced issues connecting the controller. 🤔 Thankfully, the fantastic support team guided me through the troubleshooting process, and voila! 🛠️ My controller is now up and running smoothly. As I eagerly await the next stages, I haven't ventured into using the light adapter just yet. Stay tuned for updates on my growing adventure! 🌿

week 11 75 days according to the breeder this strain has 7-8 weeks of flowering. with the possible stress that the plant has suffered maybe it has slowed down its growth a little. but since I'm not impatient and I have time is not a problem. I like to let it mature on point so I let it roll for another three weeks. As for the sample I took a week before... it was on a good track. I could already feel some notes and aroma but deep down. very heavy and harsh smoke, to remember that there was no flush or cure, just dry. Now its waiting for the whole plant dry. 🤞🙏

In the second week the plant has now started to produce its first set of single bladed leafs.

Ok so this week I did a defoliation and a tigh down too the netting , I really was not planning on doing such a big defoliation but the leafs became thick and dense and there was almost no light penitration down too the lower branches of the plant , so she is opened right up now and the humidity and temperature has dropped loads and the air is moving alot better around the leaves and branches , I will not take anything more off her now , I have also added Cal mag too the nutrients for this week only , I am very happy with them so far and being new too all this it's all very exciting , Thanks for looking :)

Man sieht es ist alles sehr gut gewachsen, habe die Lampen bei 60cm gehalten, jetzt auf 40 und bei 80 Prozent Licht Leistung. Gedüngt wird noch nicht erst in ein paar Tagen geht es damit auch los die Erde ist noch stark genug. Freue mich auf die Blüte und die Genetik😎👌😘😁 You can see that everything has grown very well, I kept the lamps at 60cm, now at 40 and at 80 percent light output. Fertilization won't start until a few days later, so the soil is still strong enough. Looking forward to the flowering and the genetics😎👌😘😁

So far so good! The two prized plants are making a nice long beautiful main colas with great lower shoots. I did have what appeared to be a lockout early in the week but I’d bet it was from either salt/nutrient build up or to high of a ppm count. I ran a batch of flora kleen for an hour and the results were astound of how much it stripped out. I think this resolved it and the smells are starting to come through now. I love the later weeks of flower but who doesn’t?!

Another week in the books for these ladies. Temps and humidity dropped a bit last week. Hopefully we'll we see pre-flowering signs over the next 2 weeks. Thanks for stopping by growfessors 👽🌳💚

Week 17 Nothing really moved this week. It’s something like between low tide and high tide: not my favorite moment … waiting for blossoms and flowers 🙄🙏. Good point is that every plants are healthy ( except a parasite problem on Psicodelicia) and well prepared for flowering. For now it’s bad weather outside: 20 degrees max, with lot of wind and rain (cf video). The green house is the best option despite of less exposure. Morning soon I moved the plants outside to sprayed them with potassium soap (natural insecticide). I cleaned the grow space inside the greenhouse (didn’t touch spiderwebs…good insecticide too). I removed the automatic watering and get a few liters of rain water during this days. Watering 1L every 3 days -Calmag + Cannazym + Alga mic + Root booster -Flora Series: preflowering quantities. Daylight 14h30: 6h50/21h20 Psicodelicia is still a pretty plant but I saw some bad leaves covered by white spots… behind I notice some little light yellow grubs: it’s certainly a thrips attack. I treated the plant with potassium soap and wait before the Neem oil. The numbers of blooming sites are well identified and growth is totally fixed.

Today the wedding cake was harvested. It smelled strongly floral and only slightly citrusy. It is dried in dryferm bags. Let's see if they're any good. I will report.
