🌸 Week 3 Flower – Growing Strong, Tall, and Vibrant! 🌱 Hey Grow Fam! It’s already Week 3 in flower, and I’m thrilled to bring you this update because these plants are doing phenomenally well! Some are stretching up so tall that I might have to get creative in the coming weeks! Fruit production is well underway, and it’s absolutely amazing to watch the canopy fill out as these girls reach their potential. Aptus Holland Pack Unboxing & New Additions This week kicked off with a big arrival: the Aptus Holland nutrient pack! 🙌 I couldn’t wait to share the unboxing with you all; there’s a video up where I go through all the goodies, so check it out if you haven’t yet! Between the photos and videos, you’ll be able to see just how well these nutrients are already feeding these green beauties. Having a blast sharing more content lately—I’m in the zone with editing and creating, so get ready for even more shares! 🌡️ Environmental Control and Fine-Tuning the Reservoir pH Temps this week have been holding around 27.2°C with RH at 65.2% and CO2 at 800 ppm, creating a VPD of 1.26 for ideal flower development. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. Chopped on day 78, trichomes were fully milky and beginning to turn amber on the calyxes. I was looking for more of a sativa feel, so I decided to pull her today! She stinks like gas, sour candy, and hints of spice and kush. She started out super strong but began having calcium, nitrogen, and phosphorous issues throughout flower. Fortunately she turned out healthy in the end and pushed out a lot of resin. Decided to go with a Lotus Cure on this round since my last round got dried too quickly and lost a lot of terpenes. Buds were chopped down, green leaves without trichomes removed, and straight into jars and into the mini-fridge at 55-62% RH and 40F.

All is going well I week 8! Caramelino smelling fantastic! Northern lights got harvested! Like I said,I am disappointedin my NL clone as far as yield goes.But not disappointedin terps and thricomes. I am learning. NL started to develop nanners on the very bottom buds. I found only 3 nanners. And took them off. I also didn't really flush NL. My noob mistake but she was ready at week 7 for harvest! Caramelinolooks fantastic,nice sized buds, super nice and strong terps and very nice looking buds!Super excited for this lady! Started last week with her flush. Well see what happens. Peace

The tallest one of the bunch to date by a few inches. I topped and defoliated every plant. I'm trying to form them into canna-bushes. Hopefully I'm doing the correct training procedures to make them all grow that way both indoors and out.

Fast drying method with dehumidifier at 21C° for 3 days and dry trimming, even the sugar leaves are smokable and full with amber crystals, no harshness at all. District odours.

Hello fellow growers, This will be last week of feeding for these plants, I've been checking theirs trichomes for some days and and I will start a 2 week-long flush to make that good white ash when I'll smoke it 😋 I wish I could take some good photos of trichomes to show you here, but my mini microscope doesn't attach to my phone's camera unfortunately. Except for some problems due to my old ph meter this run went pretty smooth so far, and I'm pretty happy with it. Quick kush is called quick for a reason 👌, nice big indica leaves starting to grow and stretch pretty fast, i had to re pot one of the girls so one of them might look a bit sad but she will get better (its the salts) Flushing and Buffering- I am personally using Canna Coco Coir,mix with one brick of plagron coco coir(had one left). 1. Why you Should buffer your Coco. Lets get to reading! (Its Worth it for those that dont know about it) There are cation exchange sites in coco that will interfere with nutrition until they are buffered. The cation exchange sites in coco naturally come loaded with sodium (Na) and potassium (K) cations. However, the Na and the K are only weakly held to the exchange sites. In the presence of calcium (Ca) or magnesium (Mg), the sites will release their Na or K cations and lock onto the Ca or Mg. These processes are known as “cation exchanges”. Buffering coco is accomplished by soaking it in Ca and Mg. This allows the cation exchanges to take place prior to adding plants. Simply soak your coco in a solution of Cal/Mag water and the exchange sites will release their K and Na cations and lock onto the Ca and Mg. When the cation exchange sites bond with Ca and Mg rather than Na and K, it is “buffered”. The bonds that hold the Ca and Mg to the sites are very strong and cation exchange will largely stop. This means that all of the nutrients that you add to the water will be available to the plant at the ratios that you provide them. 2. Alot of growers Grow in Unbuffered coco coir and its a big mistake guys, I myself was a "victim"😬of unbuffered coco and it does cause alot of problems... now i am going to try and fix them! -----GROWING IN UNBUFFERED COCO--- Many growers are unaware of the need to buffer the coco and they try to grow plants in unbuffered coco. In unbuffered coco, the cation exchange sites will strip the nutrient solution of the Ca and Mg and replace those cations with Na and K. This creates a sub-optimal Nutrient Element Ratio (NER) and renders Ca and Mg unavailable to the plant. Failing to buffer the coco is why so many growers suffer calcium deficiencies in coco grows. Manufacturers of prepared coco products try to exploit these problems and convince growers that only their proprietary products are suitable for growing. However, it is actually very simple to properly buffer your coco yourself. This tutorial walks you through the process and provides all the information you need to turn even the cheapest brick of dehydrated coco into a superior growing medium.
