Stopped feeding this week other than one watering with molasses. Needing to be watered every 3 days. Other waterings using ph'ed filtered water to 6.5 set on my air bubbler for a few hours before watering. She's very close to being ready. Another week and i think she will be perfect. Notice leaves fading end of last week and they have been getting more color throughout the week. Bud growth only happening closes to the light and much of orange hairs are white. Not a ton of amber trichomes yet which is good. Really liking how this plant is turning out. Nice loud terpene profile and fat dense frosty buds. Trimming should be pretty easy on this one which is a relief knowing how much work I have ahead of me. I think this very could be the fast version.

I've turned the light up to 35000 lux. Up'd the bloom to 1.5ml/l. There still stretching and could do with more room but there doing well 😎

New week! Tips and help from last week, I had around 1500 ppm and I did flush my roots in water and change everything. Now is around 1000 ppm and dropping 150 ppm a day. Did read about water level in DWC and how to increase the grow with water. I had the water almost up to the root or the level of there the basket is. Now I have 1-2 inch (2-5 cm) below where the roots come out. This create air roots. I'm not sure if it's the air roots or the ppm but my flower is boosting. Can se buds grow!! Trimming so I can keep the same hight. Have any tips or rekomandation? Only have one question for next week and this is: it's looking a bit thigth between the buds and all of the leaf is cristal on it. Should I cut some more leaf? And what leaf should I trim? Is so thigth in there. Or will it grow fine?

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Hello Everybody, now on day 50! According to breeder only 11 days to go, i now think its probably closer to a month. So im gonna continue with nutes for at least 2 more weeks. I notice some big vertical growth from the main and the 3 other big side branches. Still doing some sort of LST as you can see on the pics. Buds finally are starting to show some growth also. My only concern its that i see the top bud a little hidden inseide all those leaves pointing up. Is that normal? Thanks again. Any advice is welcome!

Towards the end of the harvest, mold developed due to high temperature and humidity. I lost about 30% of my harvest. The buds did not fully mature. Despite all the setbacks, we managed to get a harvest.

Day 78 - Starting week 12 and I think for sure she’ll get the chop this weekend. Still has quite a bit of white hairs but she’s foxtailing quite a bit and there are no more clear trichs in there, a few amber but no clear. Hopefully letting her dry out and a little cooler temps, she’ll pop a bit more amber before she’s chopped. Day 79 - Nothing new today other than there’s a few more amber trichs mixed in there. I’m still planning on giving her the axe this weekend unless I see some significant fattening but with the foxtailing, I just don’t see that happening. Day 80 - She’s just continuing to foxtail more and more so hoping she won’t be to crazy by this weekend cause I’d like her to get a little more amber in her before chopping. Day 81 - Just waiting until Saturday or Sunday to chop her. I might let her go longer if I don’t get much more amber trichs but she’ll probably come down this weekend instead of foxtailing even more.
