Fed her some bloom nutrients, she took it nicely. I will continue to feed her nitrogen into the third week also.

Wk8 Flower (2nd week of flower day 15) So this week has been another quiet week. I have been pinching out big fan leaves that are cover multiple tops to persuade even growth over the canopy. I have also cleaned out under her skirt a bit more to get rid of the unwanted and wasted growth. Only water with EM1 has been added to the res over the week she is currently drinking up to 6ltrs a day and growing around an inch taller in a 24hour period. I noticed a bad stagnant smell coming from the res so have added some lacto bacillus serum which should help that settle. Although the plant isn't complaining bad smells normally means bad microbes which in numbers are very bad. She is showing alot of pistols now and I'd expect to see bud sites prominent by end of the week mind you I don't actually think she has fully started to stretch yet! I'm keeping an eye on her closely as next week I am away and was hoping that stretch would have come and gone by now. We will see!! This week I plan to add some water soluable calcium and an alfalfa seed sprout tea. I've started to drop my humidity down every couple of days to simulate change and have my light set at 40cm

BIG stretch this week! Might scrog these ladies as some space opens up in my tent with a harvest coming up soon.

2/20: Both pots are light and are looking droopy. Time for first day of feeding nutrients. I used 1tbsp unsulphured molasses mixed into a half strength mix of General Organics GO Box nutrients, following the first week of flower instructions. 2/21: Both plants are looking great this morning. Amnesia seemed to have grown more overnight! I'll need to watch the timelapse to see what happened. My lights are at about 80% at 12 inches above the plants. I'm going to increase it to 12 inches above the tallest cola. 2/22: May turn both lights to 100% soon, as the timelapse of the night didn't show much growth or movement. Otherwise looking good. 2/24: Woke up to Amnesia's lower leaves turning yellow, brown, and crunchy. Google research thinks its a PK deficiency, the last two letters if the N-P-K nutrient list. Discord users also believed it was a PK deficiency on their own accord. I may be able to remedy this by upping my main Biothrive Bloom to full strength to increase those nutrient numbers, and feeding her now. She's growing fast, I could see why she'd be hungry again after 4 days. Her pot wasn't quite all the way light before bed though. After today's feeding I'll go down to 3/4 strength on the Bloom for the next feeding. EDIT: After lifting Amnesias pot, she definitely is ready for feeding/watering. Probably starved a bit overnight in the hot tent. Later at night, Trainwreck began to droop, so I mixed up a half strength of nutrients and fed her a gallon over a half hour.

Man it's been a while since I posted been having problems when it got cold trying to keep the temp right and all nutrients right..some bumpy roads but here they are!! Blackberry Moon Rocks. Week 9 - First Week of Flowering 🌸 The dark period has ended, and these ladies came back into the light fully energized and ready for action! It’s just the first week of flower, and they’re all praying, stretching, and absolutely thriving—filling up every inch of the tent. This grow space is officially packed from wall to wall, with each plant competing for its share of light and showing off some of the biggest, healthiest leaves I’ve seen yet! 🌱 A few strategic plucks here and there have kept airflow smooth and light penetration balanced. Those big leaves? They’re a sign of happy, healthy growth. Large leaves help the plant capture maximum light energy, essential during this stage, especially as they start focusing on developing those flowers. When plants grow huge, vibrant leaves like these, it means they’re well-nourished and content in their environment—a true testament to the well-balanced conditions we’ve got going in the tent! Flowering Parameters 🌡️ Room Environment: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Humidity: 63.3% • CO2: 960 ppm • VPD: 1.29 kPa (prime zone for flowering health!) Lighting: • Light Intensity: 835 PPFD (ideal for boosting flower growth) • Solution: pH 5.96, TDS 460 ppm, temp 21.1°C • Medium: Moisture: 100%, TDS: 520 ppm, Temp: 21.6°C Carbon Filter Installation & Smell Management 🌬️🌱 With the transition to flower, the scent profile is already starting to kick in—crazy for the first week, right? 🌸 To keep everything fresh and under wraps, I’ve set up a carbon filter system. Here’s how it’s working: I’ve connected the filter to my Aerofan, which pulls air directly from the tent. This air is cleaned by the filter and released into the main room, where it then passes through another filter before exiting my space. This dual-filter setup means no scent escapes into the wild, keeping things stealthy and the grow room a peaceful, scent-contained environment. Perfect for anyone concerned about keeping their home free from that telltale aroma! 🕶️🌬️ Enhanced Lighting with Emerson Effect 🌞 This week, I’ve introduced an extra 15 minutes of red light at the beginning and end of each light cycle. Why? Well, this red boost taps into the Emerson effect, enhancing photosynthesis efficiency, especially during the flowering stage. By stimulating a little extra wake-up and wind-down light, we’re mimicking the natural sunrise and sunset experience for these plants, which can help reduce flowering time. Not only does it encourage smoother transitions into day and night, but in theory, it’ll help these ladies finish a bit faster, while giving them a little nudge to build more substantial, quality flowers. 🌇 Nutrient Adjustments 🌱 Now that we’re in flower, I’ve swapped out the Start Booster for P-Boost and TopBooster to specifically support flowering needs. Here’s why: • P-Boost brings in additional phosphorus, vital for energy transfer and cell division as the plant channels more resources into budding sites. • TopBooster supports the flowering phase by improving flower quality and density, helping to build those big, aromatic buds we’re after. Thank you again SunWest Genetics for standing by your word on the seeds! I am following their recommended germination requirements to the letter. From the pictures the 2 seeds with the small tap roots are still on the plate, in a paper towel, in a dark place. I am hoping they make some progress today so that I can get them into their containers!!! My goal is to have 4 active sprouts in the new 5x5 tent, in a ScroG setup. So far only 1 has sprouted. I am finding the sprouting part the most difficult aspect of growing these wonderful plants. I still have 4 seeds in reserve and if the 2 don't continue germination and the other one doesn't sprout up through the flake of rockwool I have over the seed head, I'll get the other 4 into water.
