Leaving nuets as they are as this will drop pot EC. Setting the alarm for the AM before lights out at 7:30 and changing the sched to 6AM-6PM summer is done no need for current schedule. Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I did some HST bending on my photos and cut down 2 of the 3 Blackberry’s. The branches are starting to recover and straighten out after the HST now. I still have some issues with pale leaves and a few spots here and there. I’m going to try adding some Dolomite Lime with the next watering and think that should help with the paleness. I’m also going to up the amount of CalMag and Mammoth P to see if that helps with the spotting. I’m not sure if I should see the spotted leaves recover or if the spots will remain. I suspect the spots will remain on the existing leaves regardless of what I do at this point, but hopefully no new spotting will develop. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. Also all close up pics of the Critical+ are with the lights off and flash on. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. These two plants were germinated and planted and then I caught Covid! So I haven’t seen these girls for 3 weeks. But they’re looking healthy. A feed of FishMix should help boost them. I did notice a bit of thrip damage on the leaves. Looks like these little bastards are back. So I have sprayed with canna cure and I will continue too every few days to try wipe them out before they do too much damage. But full steam ahead now the plants are the focus of my attention from now on!

The stretch period is considered to be over. I did the last leaf cleaning. I won't touch it anymore. I did super croping because the branches got too long.

Week 9 Flower Swelling Watered in at 400ml

Sunday Jan 3; Transitioning from Veg to Flower Nutes is in progress. Tonight sees 2/3 Bloom / 1/3 Veg and that’s it. - dropped tent temp down to 26C and humidity seems steady just under 50% - feeding schedule has been every other day. Stretching that to every 3 days after tonight ** water volume is my conundrum ** Do I add more water for the plant ? Am I giving enough Nutrients to the plant for it to grow big? Question Time ! &. Results: Volume of water was raised again for dinner tonight. 2.5 g between both plants. On the great advice I received today from 2 growers, and my desire to increase the amount of food that the plants see; the volume of water will go up and the time between feedings will resemble more of a 4 & 2 day cycle. Other Changes—- *”hand-weighing the pots” to get a Feel for moisture content, will become a regular task. **Giving the plants an extra day to absorb larger feedings, will become part of a staggered routine to help keep them on the Dry-Side Mad growth again today (sun p.m.), with the last taste of Medi-One out of the way early in week 3. A 4 day liquid-break and then 100% flower food. Jan 4 saw the plant looking well hydrated. No obvious run-off from yesterday’s feeding, says a deep watering has not happened yet. I will give the soil moisture a chance to recover, and increase next weeks Volume of water (aka nutrition) slightly once again. Breaking new ground ie: past a gallon per plant indoors and watering based on actual Needs. looking for real progress Jan 6th: next dinner is listed above, either tonight or tomorrow it will be used, based on how Dry the plants feel tonight Today is day 3 since the last watering. If possible I’ll hold-out till tomorrow. is Desert-like. Leaves are still pert. And the ~13 gallons or so of soil still feels bloody solid. So I’ll wait till a 4th day and feed it tomorrow. Fresh pictures uploaded w/ a video Jan 7: Fed each plant after 4 days without food or water, and they look great. Upped water volume 1/4 gal ea., (1.5 gal total ea.) and this will start the desired 4/2 watering schedule. Amount goes up each of next couple weeks. (Then taper off nutes and h2o in the last weeks is the plan) -plants looked great after 4 days without water. Here’s one for patience. -if the plant growth and bud development are any indication... the plant on the left appears to be a week ahead of the plant on the right. The one on the right just seems to be taking off now. Jan 8 Uv-B use has been s/d for the time being ~ 3 or 4 weeks. I am going to wait until there are actual buds on the branches, before making good use of the wavelength. * also behind that decision is the fact that the plant Under the Light, is solidly 4” behind the other since I started adding short periods of uv-b exposure. (The plants were exactly equal up until I started exposing the R plant for 1/2 the CMH exposure. ie: 6 hours) The plant lagging behind in reach and bud development, is the uv-b plant. And that’s only been using it since Dec 31st ! As it stands articles are saying to use the Uv-B later in flower. OK, I’m in ! Taking action on an observation. Sat Jan 9: - opening the tent tonight there was a 3” stretch over the course of the nite/day on the left. And it looks like the plant on the right is kicking-in as well. Slower, but happening. Like the whole L plant grew 3”

Feed Started With Tap Water Left Overnight For Chlorine/Chlorides To Evaporate. Next Day. Starting EC of our water is 0.10-0.15. I added 1ML of Regenaroot Per Litre. Then Used Canna Terra Flores Until EC measured 0.7. I then used the mighty bloom enhancer by the ml until my EC measured 1.3 Always Give A Little Sprinkle Of Great White Into The Mix Finally i PH'd the mix to 6.2. Made sure the feed was of adequate temp (21c) and continued to feed. 😎

arvest Report – Orange Apricot Glue XL Auto The grow is finished. The Orange Apricot Glue XL Auto had a tough spot right from the start. Growing in the shadow of the large Black Muffin photoperiod plant and getting only 12 hours of light instead of the usual 18–20 hours for an automatic, she couldn’t fully unfold her potential. Still, she pushed through and developed a nice layer of trichomes. The buds smell and taste great, offering a smooth mix of citrus notes and sweetness. Considering the conditions, I’m happy with the result.

Week 5 start, no signs of flowering yet, very strange. But i think it will start in next 2-3 days. Overall previous week was very good and productive, plant grew double or triple size. Let's see what this week brings. Day 30 - Its hard to see on a photos, but scrog is doing a great job and theres a lot of bud sites. Some are covered by big ass leaves, but i check it and fix as often as i can. Will get some better pictures and video tomorrow. Day 32 - Decided to give plamt a flush right before flowering, so it can start with some fresh roots. Plant is growing really well, will need some leaves cut. 4L with FloraKleen. Day 35 - Flowering is going full speed, will cut some leaves tomorrow, as they just block a lot of light. Almost no smell. 4L with nutrients. Peace.

📆 Week 12, 7-12 July 2024 Harvest 8 July - Turned light power down to 25%. Changed nutrient solution to RO water to begin flush. 11 July - Harvest 12 July - Begin curing time. 📑 Harvest time! She is ripe, danky, sticky, full of resin, solid, and I am pleasently suprised at the yield. This is not your ordinary Auto Afghan variety. She produces heavy buds and a lot of them. This is also the first auto I have grown using DWC in 12 weeks without manipulation - 18 hours straight from start to finish. I pushed her to the limit. Now she will hang in the closet at 50-55% RH and 70 degrees F, for about 7-10 days curing. Then she will trimmed and put into one quart glass mason jars, with 62% Boveda TurpShield and burped until 62% RH is maintained. The full potency potential and terp profile will be reached in about 30-45 days. 📆 19 July 2024 The Smoq Report: After 7 days of hanging, she was ready to cut. I trim and shape each individual bud, removing unwanted leaf and stem. It’s a process but worth it if you smoke bud. Her potency is evident. It will take the experienced smoker to a satisfying high and keep you there for a good hour or more before you want another hit. The smell and taste is of a typical Afghan. I was expecting a heavier yield, but in the end I guess we all hope for a little more! First week of flower at 12/12. Setting light height and PPFD to get right where I want them. They were seeing slight light burn on the tips in the last week of veg as I was pushing them as hard as they would allow.
