Week 5 of flower update and this was not a good week at all. The light burn got progressively worse over a 4 day stretch that I was away and couldn’t address it earlier. Torched a few tops pretty good. Likely salvageable but it wont be a pretty finish. The only good news about this is that my 2 100% keeper plants were either unaffected or only minorly. Went full beast mode and ripped apart the whole system just to cut 2” off the legs, clean, prune and then reinstall everything. We’re also gonna swap the cob light with an xs2000 and sf1000 combo. Same power but room for clearance error. If we’re lucky - we still get to the finish with some quality smoke and an initial sampling of this new F1. Jesus - my issues never seem to end these days….

So far so fantastic for these little girls, they are well on their way and have had a great week. Our White Russian is in beautiful form, her growth is tight and though she is small there is much going on. Fractal is a tiny girl but she is stunning, this one is taking her time but she is in a groove. As for the Opium, she is healthy, happy, and ready to grow on.

What a stretch from the last week, week and a half... Both of the gelato and forbidden runtz are 3 feet tall!! The vigor and structure look great, I let these 2 go as a normal plant with no training and they have proven themselves to be great plants.

First week of life watering with pH 6.0 water. waiting for the cotyledons to begin to indicate that they are running out of nutritional reserves to start fertigation . Which will be with the plantProd MJ line. 100% mineral high frequency fertigation.

I did not log all the weight, cuz my “wine cellar” run out of place , so a lot I just tossed in a big bucket for later hash. All the larf is not weighted, next grow i will do larf mitigation and proper lightning for each plant. For now I got a lot of larf, but I also see that some of my plants got great nugs even under low light exposure. Purple lemonade is less in big density In comparison to Tangie Matic. As well as not purple appeared, even though it is claimed to be genetically stable. Maybe wrong seeds ? Doubt it. But the lemon terps are present. Tent size 240x240

Week 26/02 - 3/03

Hey guys :-) A lot has happened this week :-). She has developed very well. Today it was topped on the main shoot for the first time. How often I will use topping on her, I make it dependent on how everyone else develops. I want to bloom soon so it won't happen very often :-). It was poured twice this week with 1 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). Fast plant spray from GBL was applied 2 times this week. New was added this week Fast Bud from GBL is preparing her for the coming flowering. Bio Grow Stay away for a while because the substrate is 30-50 % consists of fresh earth and the ladies are nice and dark green :-). Today there was another spray with neem oil against the remaining tripse which I will repeat one last time next week. As always, everything was cleaned and checked. La più piccolina di tutte la Cherry ma anche lei super cime compatte ed odore fuori dal normale, in attesa di essere secca e pesata anche lei, resina ovunque anche per lei, non vedo l'ora di fumaria, nonostante attaccata dalle mosche bianche per prima ha resistito molto bene alle avversità esterne. Method 📊📊📊 She trained incredibly well and recovered faster from topping than the NL did to a fim. This grow was a slightly different take on a traditional manifold leaving the top growth tips from each 2nd node (first topping) in place. This gave us 10 main colas as opposed to eight and we also left in a few extra shoots which proved to yield just that little bit extra.😉. If we had the space we would’ve stuck with 8 monster colas. Instead, we tried to squeeze usable bud out of every square inch. Maintenance was a bit of a bitch - had to defo numerous times to keep the light penetration optimal. Which brings us to the grow light - I won’t say it was ineffective cause that’s just not true. But, if this one had gotten much bigger we’d have seen some serious diminishing returns in bud quality. The tops and middles of each 10-12” cola were dense and chunky but the lower buds on the outer branches were like giant fluffy larf pillows. Thankfully there weren’t too many of these and I might’ve been able to solve this issue with some yo-yo’s if I wasn’t so damn lazy and “😜” when work’n on the garden. So, grow light review now that we’re through a few cycles - vipar spectra gets a 6/10 from me. It will grow solid, quality bud but certainly has its limitations. Their manual says it’s 450w should cover a space roughly twice the size of mine. I disagree and actual wattage draw is more like 200w. I’m gonna try to stick to photoperiod SCROGs with it in the future. Only real way to max out it’s effectiveness. Big plus - it’s about perfect for this particular space: 1:. Medium 🎛️🎛️🎛️🎛️ Coco is now the go-to medium in lieu of soil when we grow indoors. I can’t specifically say that the growth time is sped up compared to soil because I’m always growing something different but - she did recover very quickly from her toppings and the drainage is wayyyyy better. The fact that it’s nute neutral allows us to dictate exactly what the plant receives at all times. IMO - more manageable and precise than soil. Include a regular diet of calmag and ur good to grow.: 1: Yield🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴 Oh man what a gong show😎. The book on this one says that you’ll end up having to add support for her as bud weight becomes a serious issue in late flower. RQS is absolutely right, I had three smaller colas on the perimeter stretch for the last corner of light and they just got weighed down by the bud and pretty much fell over😂. We like this. Now the numbers - i did the math twice (and while sober just to make sure😉), you don’t wanna do it, it sucked, so you’ll just have to trust me: 1:. Total dried yield for the kush alone: 3.32oz. This crushes the single plant yield for any strain grown in this cabinet to date by well over an 1oz. : 1:😎. Total harvest yield across both plants: 4.99oz. This also crushes the record yield per cycle in the cabinet by a full ounce!: 1:😎👌💪🤩. The stats say an avg. of 500-550g/m2. Based on the rough size of my cabinet the avg. should be 131.25g/0.25m2.... our actual harvest across both strains - 140.6/0.28m2. That’s pretty damn good and spot on with the specs: 1:.😎 Props👊👊👊👊👊 A great many thanks to everyone who stopped in and cared to take some interest in this cycle.
