The Ztrawberriez Auto is very resistant has a great sweet strawberry smell throughout the garden. As you can easily see from my grow question, I was initially afraid for the plants due to the high temperature in the greenhouse (as soon as the sun shone ~40 degrees). It turned out that the plant seemed to like it and rewarded me with beautiful buds with purple tips. Growdiaries won't let me delete the question otherwise this would have happened long ago... She finished very quickly and took just 70 days from seed to harvest. All this confirms that fastbuds is the right address for autoflowers. I'm already looking forward to the next run. In the meantime, we continue outdoors From 6. 30AM til weather gets too hot Once it reaches hot temperature and low humidity we bring them back indoors for CFL lights and Air conditioner plus fan Since it's so hot in where we live it's tropical weather, we always have to keep an eye to the hygrometer and the weather in general. So far so good, they're flowering and taking their time but day after day new buds are coming up, we've done some defoliation as well to get rid of those old leaves and the other ones that are too low and not gonna make it so the plant can return that energy into several buds that are already developing. Hbss is 27in tall ABxRKO is 38.5in tall I'm starting to run out of height because of the ABxRKO as it finally flowers. Still slight nute issues with the HBSS, but nothing too tough to handle for now. The smells the HBSS give off are absolutely crazy. Just letting them grow, and watering every day seems to work. Will upgrade to earth boxes for this tent since a little autonomy is nice

End of week 9, harvest time! She has dense heavy buds for the most part. Just the lowest and most inner bud sights are fluffy and small, compared to the rest. I will update with dry weight results and smoke taste review in about 2 weeks. Update - March 7 - today was the first smoke and then weigh-in for the OG Kush. Total dry weight 242.2 grams, not including the smoke sample.

I'm still waiting to see less clear trichomes on the buds, carefully allowing the pot to dry before watering, and feeding just bembe and big bloom this week. I found my last pineapple kush harvest bland, hence the continued feeding after flush. This is the third week since flush.

So this final week the buds on this Orange Hill Special are filling out. They are getting rock solid and the calyxes are doing their final swelling. Also, the trichomes have started forming and up close, they are forming a white sticky film over the whole bud. The buds feel heavy and compact, although their size could have been bigger but not complaining with this amount of bud. I have just been feeding some perma tea and clean water since this soil is probably very high in nutes by now. I had some brown leaf points so just adjusted and all was fine. Now we go into the final one or two weeks. I did some final defoliation to expose some underside buds, they are swelling too. Removed some sticky underside larf, kept it in a box to gradually dry for a preliminary taste test coming days. All plants very healthy and growing well. I have included some pictures of HST and tucking. I keep it under the screen as much as possible . If I can not easily tuck it under I carefully use Kyle Kushman's technique for partially braking the inside cambium layer with out the damage to the outside. Carefully then twist slightly and the branch will lay down. By this ninth week, all the plants except the GTH x P reached the height of the wire, and at that time I started tucking the new growth back under and kept it there for the most part of the Veg stage. I also fertilized with for the second time with Soils Solution Top Veg

At the beginning of week 2 the plants have grown fine, but also developed some yellow leaf-tips, which I assume is from the amount of light they receive. Therefore I decide to hang the both LED-fixtures higher. The LUMATEK ZEUS PRO 600W is now at 75 cm distance and the two SANlight Q6W-Gen.2 are at 90 cm distance from the top of the clones of CANNALOPE HAZE from DNA-GENETICS. The humidity inside the HOMEBOX-tent is kept permanently at 60% during veg. The grow-controller GROWBASE PRO from GROWCONTROL does a GREAT job in keeping a constant environment inside my growtent. As a precaution I put up some yellow sticky traps against fungus-gnats and also hang sachets with predatory mites from KOPPERT (=Thripex PLUS) on every plant. This will prevent spider-mites and thrips to invest my tent, since the predatory mites will eat them right away. I LOVE BIOLOGICAL TREATMENTS and decide on it every time instead of using chemicals, because I grow my own medicine here and dont want ANY CHEMICALS on my cannabis! 👍😎 At the end of week two I slightly increase the light intensity again, by adjusting the dimmers of my LEDs. The Lumatek is now set to 50% dimm-level and the SANlights are running at 60%. Until now there is not much difference to see between the two sides, all plants are healthy and doing well.
