The Mentha de Croco sprouts are officially a week in, and they’re already showing off their unique personality, each one growing at its own pace. They’re rocking some funky vibes and loving life inside the dome! Here’s a full update on their progress, care, and setup for Week 1. Living Environment: The Humidity Dome Setup The seedlings are living in a humidity dome, where we’re keeping the relative humidity (RH) close to 100%. This level of RH mimics a tropical environment, creating the ideal conditions for delicate young plants that need extra hydration support as they begin to develop roots and leaves. Why High Humidity? • Encourages Strong Root Development: At nearly 100% RH, plants focus on root growth while pulling in moisture directly from the air, helping them establish themselves early on. • Protects from Stress: The high humidity reduces transpiration (water loss through leaves), which prevents drying and keeps seedlings hydrated. • Promotes Healthy Leaf Growth: With constant access to moisture, the leaves expand smoothly, giving each plant a strong start in the vegetative phase. Growth Status & Observations 🌱 These little mutants are showing some funky characteristics and growing at their own unique pace—a perfect reminder that no two plants are the same! Each seedling has sprouted its initial set of leaves, and I’m seeing great promise in their vigor and resilience. Key Observations: • Color: The seedlings are a healthy green, with some displaying slight variances in shade—typical of unique genetics like Mentha de Croco. • Structure: Leaves are developing steadily, with short internodes (the space between sets of leaves) that hint at nice, compact growth patterns as they continue. • Energy: Each plant seems to be finding its rhythm, which is a beautiful thing to watch! Some are taking their time, while others are diving right into rapid growth. Nutrients & Supplements 💧 For this first week, I’m keeping it light on nutrients, letting the seedlings draw what they need from the Root Riots and the remaining seed stores. However, I’ve continued using Aptus Holland’s Regulator and Startbooster, both at 1ml/L, to support foundational growth. PAR 450 PPFD LST is really the best way to spread your plants horizontally without stressing them. Within 2 to 3 days they bounce back and start to make new branches from the now horizontal nodes. I also looked into VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) and recommend you should do too if you want your plants to be happy all the time. Canopy is very crowded, I am going to defoliate quite harshly on day 21. Apart from it being a little packed the plants are growing at a fantastic rate.

On week 5 of actual flowering the plants are coming along nicely and HSC GSC is looking the best so far but its still early :) WW is slow to start flowering just small amount of pistils so far small buds looks more like week 3 or 4 as far as flowering progression.

Day 24 Topped the Ladies Started to fertilize Bio Grow In 1-2 weeks i will send them in the flower stage

Harvest time I decide two hang the entire plant for a slow drying !! I finally removed the plant to much humidity it was around 80%😥 it’s raining hard those days anyway I checked every buds and no mold so I switched to my old method . 📦 humidity now it’s 55% 👌 5 days of drying I try to keep humidity around 60 and 17 degrees to keep all terpenes n flavour, terpene don’t like low humidity ,heat ,and of course lightning ,see y’a next update 💪💪💪 I had 34g of nice frosty trim ,for the first time I’ve made some nice bubble hash amazing I love it!!! I watch all of he’s videos he was the marster of hash RIP French cannoli 🙏🙏🙏

Hey guys, did some defoliation yesterday because it was Flower day 21. I got rid off the lower branches and flowers with little to no chance of receiving enough light. I snapped off the leaves which were looking a bit old. I’m pretty happy with the result, since it is my first grow I didn’t know how or how well it will go. After defoliating her I gave 5L with around 20ml of Hesi root complex to help her get fit after the operation. I feed her once a week with bloom nutrients 50ml / 10L. I also attached new wires to the twigs to continue with the LST and to improve light penetration. So far no problems and I’m pretty happy. Also I haven’t smoked weed for 3 Weeks now and I am excited to wait till harvest with my break. If I trust sensi seeds she needs around 50-60 days to complete flower, so let’s say we have 1/3. My SanLight evo 4-120 is running on 80% power which is 212W and I have 30-35cm distance to the canopy, depends on which buds you measure. Thanks for reading. Have a nice day

Unseasonably cold temperatures has had me on edge but growth still looks to be normal. Noticed some magnesium deficiency in some of the lower branches from the temp dipping below 60 so I bumped up my cal mag slightly to compensate. Also increased part B and C of my base nutes as well as Monster Bloom, Nirvana and Purpinator. Still no signs of any purple growth but I'm still very optimistic that these babies will be beautiful no matter what. Might cover up their pots and surrounding ground with hay/straw/mulch or whatever I can find today to help keep the roots warm with lower 40's°F for lows at night in the near forecast. Two of the three Devil's have shown exponential flower growth over the past few days, with more indica characteristics, where the middle Devil is straight sativa, totally a bunch of foxtails forming 🦊 and extra tall, long branches as where the other two are more Christmas tree 🎄 shaped.

Rough week for everybody...a solar bugstorm ensued and all the girls were ravaged to some degree. My mister fan hose busted and the temperatures were over 100f all week long. Still fighting grasshoppers..

Hi Grow room buddies. Here we have another generous sponsors run of Zamnesia Autos. Ordering was a simple process with a great delivery and after sales welcome to the brand. A nice touch indeed. Rhe pack I recieved was well wrapped and secure with no signs of being tampered with in any way. A really nice package of goodies was found inside from plant labels to grinders and plenty of nice stickers to decorate too. I chose the 3 strains as 1 I love as a strain in the amnesia haze and the Gsc is one i have fancied growing for a while. The sticky beast looks like a great new strain to sample too. I used the cup of water soak for 24 hours to soften the seed casing and dissolve any protective coatings they may have . After 24 hours they were still all sealed but had at least sunk so I left them a further 12 hours. I then put them allnjnto a light mix to hopefully germinate under my lights but at a good distance away and in a heated propagator . Within a few days I saw a few heads popping up and signs of most being awake by disturbed soil. Sadly leaving them for a few more days resulted in 6 making the surface but the only Sticky beast that got through , opened a second set of leaves and keeled over with a stragulated looking stem halfway up ??. I recovered her in her fallen state in the hope she may still fight on but it isn't looking good. ( see pics !) With only 5 making it to this point , I have had to fill the gaps with other seeds. A little disappointed to get 4 failures but hopefully Zamnesia will ensure this is looked at ?. I now have 3 very healthy looking Amnesia Haze and 2 sprightly looking Girls scout cookies to play with. I have now got them into their 30L pots and have done on them to encourage a little moisture while they settle in. Fingers crossed........

For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. AC Infinity does not extend the warranty to the replacement parts. I guess that makes sense since they would be in a state of perpetual free replacements. I bought a new one from Amazon that came with a new controller which is different from the controller 69 currently using. I decided that while it is very inconvenient and inefficient to monitor the tent through the day, I would rather finish this Frostbanger run without introducing a new unknown variable. I will continue using 3 circulating fans, the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. Before FastBuds announced the strain name and characteristics, I was disappointed that FBA2502 could be an indica sleepy strain but the universe provides what you need at the time. The new strain profile indicates a whopping 29%THC with mainly sativa uplifting, euphoric, social effects with sweet fruity flavors which I love and enjoy. Another wonderful auto to run and what a terp monster she turned out to be. Every square inch of her was covered in trichomes. Her yield is impressive, Weighting in a 73g of flower and 23.9g of trim.
