Whats Up from Down Under growmies?!! Another update- And its been a week thats for sure. I noticed a few spots of bud rot on some of the Zkittlez main colas- after that rain last week- so being week 7 in flower heading on into week 8, I decided to chop the affected buds and a few around them. After sniping out the mold, its hung up drying now. After speed drying a few nugs to see, it was obvious she wants a week more to put on a bit more weight, she dries out to weight next to nothing but damm is she clean as a whistle!! Very fresh and sweet smell, and taste with a racy head high thats on the short lived side. That also suggests she needs at least a week more if not 10 days. But what can ya do? Its a few Oz easy if it kept its weight. Quite enjoying the smoke though so cant complain. Id be annoyed if it was for sale as it weighs next to nothing, but its not. I ran it super light on nutes the whole way, and prob stopped bloom nutes a week too soon looking back, so light weight is to be expected in early bud. A dose of humiboosta this week was given to help release any remaining nutes in the soil and give the plant a boost in carb production for its last week or so. Hash plant is looking good considering its issues, its fought off mold on its own it seems, I snipped off a few buds that had issues, but all in all its doing well for a runt I fed even less than the others. Colas are looking very fox tailed but also filling in quite well despite that, will be interesting to see what the final buds look like. Gave a final dose of light Bloom nutes and Humaboosta for her last two weeks or so. Project Sour lemon D got a heavy dose of bloom nutes as she basically wasnt fed until I saw the buds were actually buds and not bananas. So second proper feeding since she started flower a few weeks back. And decided to do this weeks diary in the Twilight light, as I noticed the Zkittlez had a Visitor that was settling in for the night to do some hunting, so added a few pics and a vid of him/her also. Hi Growers. So all 3 FastBuds Blue Dream Auto seeds popped in less than 3 days. I’ve left them uncovered, added a humidifier and turned a fan on low to just to give them a little wiggle. They were sprayed and lightly watered in a 4” circle around the stalks to have those roots go search for water. One of the seeds hulls is still stuck to the cotyledon leaves. I’ve been spraying it to keep the membrane moist and hopefully she’ll split it open by herself. In the past when I’ve tried to remove them they cause damage to the leaves so we’ll wait and see. Just gonna give them some time and mist for a week and start super low feeding according to the FastBuds auto feed schedule. I’m looking forward to seeing these babies grow!!! Happy Growing 🌱

Day 7 i I transplanted the seedlings in jiffy’s to the DWC basket water level was “just” touching the bottom of the basket which meant there was 1mm- 2mm air gap between the water level and the jiffy’s. The high pressured air in the water to spit when air was released at the top which kept the bottom of the jiffy moist which had minimal roots showing to the exterior of it. Day 7-13 I originally had 7.5 litres of water that was to the bottom of the basket. I replaced the water on the 13th which meant the water was changed after 6 days at such an early stage I will regularly change the water in the buckets. You can change every 7-14days but I am taking no chances. I refilled and added nutrients on Day 13 which was yesterday. And the plants are doing really well and are a nice VEG green colour. Hard to tell on the pictures with the light colour but you can see their progress. When I replaced the water this week I put 6.5L of water in each bucket With nutrients PH’d as close to 5.8 as possible. Some varied from 5.72 - 5.9. I have noted these on each bucket so that I can check if one does better than the others or shows deformities or stress I can amend it to match the others but hopefully not in such a close proximity of 5.8ph with an EC of 700+- The roots are now showing in every pot with the longest being some 6inches. The new Wakyme grow light is top notch so far with VEG button on only. Anyone contemplating buying one it cost me £99.00 from amazon and so far is performing just how I would like. Humidity has been taken care of with a cold air intake fan which is pulled from another area of the building of a cooler environment. Temperatures are spot on where I want them but I do allow a 2degree +- allowance but it does change back to its original temperature quickly enough. 5 more speed bud germinated and 2peyote critical feminised photoperiod germinated. Crystal candy XL auto ordered x10 Gorilla glue, Pineapple Express and Cali Kush waiting in the wings. I have these already If I can be anymore help to anyone let me know. Como estáis familia? Yo flipando y es que todo lo que provenga de cheese me encanta, farm cheese del banco genofarm, repleta de polen,parece los Pirineos en pleno enero cuando nieva. Es una cepa increíble el problema que le veo es su olor penetrante, apesta enserio es muy fuerte su olor, seguimos alimentándola con advanced nutrients quitamos todos los adictivos menos overdrive y la base sigue dando caña y si no mirar su color. Todo este proyecto e de agradecerlo a mars hydro que sin ellos no es posible este proyecto, enserio este led es bomba. Ph controlado , humedad por debajo de 50% temperatura entorno a 27 algo alta pero no hay problema alguno. Muchas gracias a todo el equipo de mars hydro de nuevo, agrobeta que aunque no participen los productos en el diario si van hacerlo en un futuro, y gracias a vosotros que sin grow diaries y sin todos vosotros usuarios , tampoco es posible, así que gracias, muy buenos humos 💨💨💨.

So another week and some more thickening and ripening. The smell is like blueberry on one and the others are sweet as well. Slightly different smell to each. Watering when dry still at pH 6-6.6 and monitoring overall plant trichomes. At this point it's autopilot to the end. No more feeding with slow release and will slowly flush the remaining food out next few weeks. I like my trichomes to have some amber, not too much but mostly cloudy with some amber. Seems like most will be dense, except one plant I've called corona virus. It has smaller buds but are really resinous and smelly. Cheers and happy growing!

May 31st update Clone 1: 9 inches tall. Distinct sativa leaves. Already has 7 pointers and looks like it’s trying to push 9s. Close node spacing Clone 2: 11 inches tall. This one has been growing with the most vigor. Largest node spacing out of all of them. Sturdy stalk. Really happy with this one so far. Clone 3: 5 inches tall. This one has been growing the slowest and least vigor. Doesn’t mean much at this point but going to keep an eye on it Clone 4: 10 inches tall. Close node spacing. Widest out of all the plants. Have a feeling this one will be bushier and squatter All 4 clones: Added red wigglers to both grow boxes, this will help with aeration and compaction. Also transplanted all 4 clones out of their small fabric pots into grow boxes. Top watered boxes but from here on out will only be doing bottom watering. Just wanted to make sure soil was moist as I have been neglecting watering the boxes Parents: I haven’t done anything with the 4 parents this week except water. They are bouncing back from their last topping. I will likely top again in a week or two once they start to take off again Looking forward to this small Pheno hunt. Hoping all 4 are females but we will see! God bless!

Day 35: Defoliation on some of my overgrown plants. Day 40: My tallest plant is 43cm tall. Pretty good size, should double or even triple when it comes time to flower. Have had no problems so far, no issues with fungi or bacteria in my plants.

Seemingly overnight, the A.K. plant overcame Sour Ripper in growth! Been a fun week as far as the plants go, havent needed to water them at all. Ill take a peak into the tent occasionally, witnessed the growth pick up exponentially this week. I noticed the pots are getting pretty light when i was taking these pictures. Will likely water them tomorrow. Notes for those interested: My last grow was RUINED from consistently overwatering and NEVER checking pH of feed water. Everything that could have went wrong as a result, did go wrong. Murphy's Law eh? Just trying to see to it that doesnt happen again. For those interested in the DWC girls, their growth has been nothing less than great 👍. It was less than two weeks ago that i went to the local hydro shop to pick up some hydroguard and damn! Is that shit good or what?! Root rot has been stripped away in almost ALL of my DWC girls, tons of white, happy root growth in their place. Ive decided that i will flip them all either halfway through this week or monday of next. Going to mother both A.K. and S.R. 2-3 weeks into flower transition. Again, great job @RipperSeeds and @Nirvana, really loving this stuff.

These girls didn’t give me any issues at all. They just screw themselves. I planted one seed and when I did the mainline, I cloned the top, which is how I ended up with two plants. I can’t believe how big the buds got all this girl trimming it was a nightmare. There was so many leaves, some of the buds are so big that I did a small amount rot in one of them It’s so happened to be the biggest bud. I was running the humidity kinda high about 60% the whole time. About this plant doesn’t have much of a nose on it but she looks great and Got over these two.

Had no time for the harvest so i took the risk and let her grow, under a rain cover. Im surprised that i didnt spot any bud rot! Removed fan leaves for better airflow. The weather makes it hard for her to fatten up, so i will give her one more week to finish up. Shes super frosty and has such an amazing smell. I did harvest 3 small branches that are drying and curing right now, looking forward to the smoke test.

She's absolutely taking off. Every time I swap the reservoir, she shows her appreciation with another growth spurt. I pulled a couple single leaves off of her and will begin ponytail training this week to push a little energy to the lowers and start getting some side branching. We're getting to that time in an Autoflowers grow cycle where things go crazy, and I'm here for it. Thanks again to Zamnesia and Plagron for letting me throw down in this grow off.
