I am dropping a Grand Daddy Purple auto. I scuffed both seeds ends. I dropped it in water. It will stay there for 24 to 48 hours until a tap root shows. I will then drop it in coco, and dome till it sprouts. Hello growmies! Welcome to week seven of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! I have just completed the final defoliation for the three least advanced (and largest) girls. I have also rearranged the tent again to try to maximize the space available and light usage. I have not fertigated for 5 days after the last fertigation was a flush without coco base. I am struggling with humidity at the moment so I have been trying to let the plants go more dry than usual. Daily Updates ### Week 7 Day 2 02:30 7/8 Heavily defoliated plants 1, 5 & 6 and removed some of the lower branches. Rearranged tent then photographed & measured: Plant 1 is now almost unbelievably 2nd tallest at "only" 141cm in height! Her stretch has just about ended. Plant 2 has stopped stretching at 111cm and is 2nd most advanced into flower. Plant 3 has stopped stretching at 95cm and is most advanced into flower. Plant 4 has stopped stretching at 100cm and is 3rd most advanced into flower. Plant 5 has gained 6cm this week and may add few more but she is pretty close to done stretching at 119cm. Plant 6 has gained 22cm this week and isn't quite finished. She is now the tallest plant in the series at 142cm. ### Week 7 Day 2 07:00 7/8 Fertigated 1.6l each ### Week 7 Day 4 02:00 9/8 Fertigated 1.6l each reduced coco a/b to 2m/l each. Spent a bit more time photographing and videoing to try and capture the changes and the developmental differences. These 140cm+ plants are going to STACK. I am bracing myself for a lot of trimming and a monster harvest. 🙏 The current order of maturity and likely order of harvest is 3 2 4 1 5 6. I think the first and last plants will be at least a week apart in harvest, perhaps 2 or 3. ### Week 7 Day 6 23:00 11/8 Fertigated 1.6l each The smell in the tent is there now, really not that strong but there are 6 plants motoring through flower here now so it's not insignificant either. Plant 3 is absolutely stacking now, she's more or less run out of space around her cola and is now growing some foxtail like structures, exciting! Plant 6 the least mature is 2-3 weeks behind plant 3, but her stretch has finally stopped at 144cm. Took wide angle in tent photos today. Waiting for the amber to come through on the Northern Lights, buds are fat and dense.

Start of week 3 of flowering for plants 2 & 3. They are showing signs of heat stress, three days last week temps in the grow room reach 35°c. Aside from some heat stress, the plants still look healthy and the bud sites are developing nicely. Light defoliation of each plant, removing the dying leaves and some of the ones showing signs of dying.

Half time in bloom. I made a video with and one without flash. This is always a bit misleading. I set Josefine a bit higher. I should have done this much earlier as she was already the smallest the whole time. I defoliated a tiny bit. Should be. A few leaves are turning yellow, but I think I watered a little too much, or gave too much fertilizer. However, it doesn't look alarming to me at the moment. They'll catch themselves again. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to the first week of April.

She's being grown without any training method,just 100% natural and organically grown,in her soil mix she has guanokalong seaweed powder,complete organics and grow and flo by florians living organics which is full of humic and fulvic acids and 10 different types of mycorrizae and beneficial fungus,plus I'm watering with guanokalong extract and also my lactobacillus liquid made by myself,she looks super happy and green,she's definitely a big lady and she loves her house 😍💚🌱 #organicmedicine ✌️

It’s a nice grow so far in terms of expectations reality on the seed breeders. Great stuff again. I had a real germination nightmare this time around though - lots of strains failing at seedling so the numbers and strains became more 😂. So the tents are mixed up again to auto on one side and photoperiod on the other. In this tent as well as Afghan and a red gorilla - there is sweet zensation , banana krumble and red hot cookies and a peyote skittlez. Water in using ro solely through the grow. There has been one issue. I tried a “pro” substrate from biocanna this time and I have those little fleas. Really annoying and my aphids are late so kind of annoying - takes the pleasure off a bit. Any good organic solutions let me know please on comments

Quick Drying (60 gr Auto ak + 20 gr Jamaica auto ) profit ))

Man this week has been taking forever, my theory is it will only get slower relative to harvest just because my excitement. I top dressed with about 2 inches of worm castings with an eyeballed mix of 2tbps of bone meal (3-14-0, bloom fert.), 1.5-2tbps of Gaia green all purp.(4-4-4, I don’t have an actual potassium fert. Like leingbenite So I use this), 3tbps of dr earth kelp meal (1-.05-2 has many different vitamins, amino acids, carbohydrates) and 2tbps of mykos (for microbiology inoculation and nutrient uptake/upkeep). So I every time I water I have this old 2gallon water tin that I usually fill up about a quarter to half way full. Using this amount of water and the 5 gallon bucket of my soil mix makes my watering schedule once every 3 days (on average). I do use bottle nutrients but it’s mainly for the supplementing. For feeding I use 2-3ml to half a gallon for all bottle nutrients, I have never gone over, and I have never had deficiency’s that can hinder plant development. Deficiency's: PSA: Now if anyone happens to read and actually look at my plants please do look closely and maybe let me know if you see something that I have missed since I’m still very new. I noticed my plant was having a cal mag issue so that’s why I top dressed with worm castings, I also top dressed with about 3tbps of azomite (I feel using azomite it may help with all those unnoticeable deficiency’s that a new grower might miss). I’ve been noticing on some of the leaves the very tips are showing discoloring, since the color is still so vibrant mostly I can rule out nitrogen, phosphorus, Iron, manganese, and sulphuric. It’s still very early stage so I did an extremely light foliage feeding (in the dark to prevent UV damage) of 2ml of big bud, big bloom, and tiger bloom, mixed into half a liter of water, I then emptied the spray bottle and sprayed with tap water just to make sure there’s no nute burning. Today I fed the plant through water amendments with 3ml of big bud, 3ml of bud candy, 3ml of big bloom, and 2ml of tiger bloom;(my theory is hopefully the nutrient deficiency’s will go away) My soil mix is pretty basic. 40% coco, 10% perlite, 10% well composted chicken manure, 20% black gold compost, 20% worm castings. I’m not going to put the fertilizer amendment percentage to be honest I eye ball it but there’s a rough general measurements that I do.

Day 128. It took me almost 48 hours with two short naps to sort all 8 girls. Result not bad, think easy will brake 1g/W, I have 720 setup, but one light is limping, so it's closer to 600. Think harvest will be in 900 area. It's 90 W per plant only and I think one girl will go above 150 easy ! I doubt I will post Tangies weight in statistics, don't want to screw that strain, she could be way way WAY bigger !!! Happy Growing !!!

*********HARVESTING MARCH 14, 2018*************** (my first harvest!) Mar. 11, 2018 FINALLY!!!! 4/5 plants are showing me nearly mature (for our purposes anyway) buds. Most of the top colas are turning a light golden and the sugar leaves are crisping up nicely, starting to see amber on the calyx's.Have watered with plain R/O water ph 7.0 with nothing added for the last 2 weeks. I'm pretty sure I will do a complete harvest and not try to stagger it, I'd like for the bottom buds to get a chance to fully mature but for this round I want to just do a single harvest and keep the immature buds separate. It's been pretty dry here but I think a 5 day dry will be possible, after all the point is to bring the moisture content down enough to seal em up and cure properly. ... Mar. 9, 2018: Nothing new to report. Lost a couple very small buds due to falling over and breaking their stems. No way i'm going to tie up the dozens of golf ball sized buds in danger of falling, i'll just continue to tuck them back in and hope for the best. The frostiest plant seems like it will need at least a week or two longer than the rest, only just showing signs of amber on the fan leaves, and sugar leaves aren't crunching yet. One girl is very near ready, as soon as I see 10-15% amber on the calyx's and the buds have a golden hue with discolored and crispy sugar leaves then it's chop chop. Measured my runoff at 450ppm still Mar. 6-7, 2018: We are at the end of week 7 of flower. Going to be feeding water only for the duration of the grow. I'm hoping to see the buds start to enter the last stage and give me that golden hue I'm looking for. Getting more amber trichomes on the fan leaves and should see the golden hue migrate to the calyx's. ... Mar. 5, 2018: Starting day 92 from seed and 46 days since first pistils. None of the buds are shooting out new pistils so hopefully over the next 2 weeks the calyx's will swell and the trichomes will mature and the bud will take on that finished look. I'm already starting to see a few ambers, but with the crop being seeded it wont' be easy to track the calyx development as some are filled with seeds and already appear swelled.

Ok my dear fellows. I've upgraded my tent in a 1m X 2m. With this setup and a high potent dehumidifier I should be able to keep the humidity low. Unfortunately this high humidity was going too kill two other crops. With this setup I should reduce that risk again. So the RHC is now together with the others. She is bulking a lot. There have been a little discoloration on the upper leaves. It might have been the light too strong. This is weird because I'm providing 1500 ppm CO2. All the other parameters are ok so it must have been a little lack of water some days ago. Smell starts to be very noticeable BUT it doesn't reminds me weed but instead citronella. I thought that's why I don't see mosquitos in the room. To the next week *Changed nutrients ratio to meet to lower the EC but keeping PK at the level of (40ppm - 100 ppm). *Next upgrade will be a tower fan to increase the airflow
