Day 14 VEG: A good week of settling in and heading outwards to the pots edges this week. No stress , just a nice, relaxed , adjusting to the world they will inhabit for the next 10 weeks or so. They are nearly all on their 5th nodes now so will possibly begin to play with the 5th growth nodes this week to break the apical dominance ( focus of energy on the main stem and bud) . I do like how neat and tidy autos can grow naturally but they can also get leggy and waste a lot of grow room vertical space that is always at a premium for me in my cramped , awkward space. I plan to now use 3 different methods on the Amnesia haze to compare side-by-side as we grow. Will hopefully answer some questions about the methods and which produces better results. One will be topped , one f.i.mmed and the last one trained over horizontal at the 5th node but uncut. The last method is better suited to a wider pot than the ones I am using but will be worth a try !. They are currently happy and healthy with no signs of any genetic issues but the #2 is in a more compacted soil which has resulted in an odd rectangular shape to her overall footprint. Her middle leaf points are retarded on all of her fan leaves so far and it will be interesting to see how she progresses too. The Girl scout cookies are also nice and healthy looking so far with no concerns at all. I plan to defoliation one of these ladies at intervals and stripped her right back during flowering while the other one is kept intact with a light defol as it grows to avoid light blocking only. Again this could answer a few queries regarding autoflowers and defoliation for a few of us. I chose topping of Amnesia haze #2 as she looks like her nodes will be quite far apart compared to the other 2 and her lower growth was nowhere near as bushy as her 2 sisters either. This topping should stop her pushing the height of the lights up for her lankinness. #3 is going to be pulled over on her 5th node once it is long enough to pin down to 90° . Girl scout cookies have been cleaned of their 1st and 2nd nodes so i can focus the attention on the 5 remaining mains as they grow out more.. watch this space.lol .

Hay good week the flowers have started to bulk up a bit .I've stopped the take root and started a low dose of explode . I've been taking a few more leaves an I've tied down a couple of branches to let the light get in . Lots of tricomes some frosty leaves and getting sticky and smelly .

It’s been a long day potting these girls into there new home. All is looking well. Little bit of heat stress but ime sure they will cope 🤞

------GENERAL COMMENT------ Girls are moving forward without troubles, i'm pleased not having to deal with issues. I'm breaking down the feeding schedule like: Sensi Base + Bigbud*(or pk booster) + Recharge > VeloKelp+Natures Candy+Bigbud*. So there is constant feed, every other day mixed in 1.5l water. Once a week i give Cal Mag 2ml /l. Not touching the girls with any HST or stress since I switched to flower. Is the first time i'm running recharge from the beginning to the end, have to say that is solid. ------GG.AK47 COMMENT------ What a pleasure to see that many colas and a vibrant girl giving fruits! 😎👊 I'm very curious to see the results in this one, solid strain! Weekly update: Crazy how time flies when your having fun. Seems like yesterday I did last week's update. I did some defoliating and lollipoping on them this week and switched from grow nutes to bloom. Wild how fast the preflower sites grow as it looks like they're everywhere. I'm still feeding 16oz per day, some are drinking more then others but overall Happy Growing.

Week 10 done and dusted and I think she is getting closer.... she absolutely stinks so I'm staying out of the tent as much as I can so the pictures are getting less.... No problems to report everything seems to be going just as it should be. 1 question though is from the pics and videos I've posted when would you guys start the 2 week flush? Gu Guys, she is continuing to develop as she should, however doesn't seem to be stretching all to much even with lower light intensities. I have therefore decided to push the ppfd to roughly 600 and let her finish her pre flower, no matter if she will fill the entire scrog or not. the roots are bit stained, however, this seems to be nutrient related, no slime or smelly roots thus far and it seems like she is constantly shooting out new ones from the net pot. She is going to be a nice little bonsai bush :)

Good progress and defiency maintained

This is the start of my second grow and also second Northern Light Auto from RQS, the goal is to hit #1 in g/plant for that Strain. I didn't take as many notes as in the last grow but there are timelapses, some photos and metrics from probes. Started with 3 Seeds and then picked the 2 strongest. The System is a NFT System but due to the size of the tube and root growths the solution with submerge the roots ~70% later on. To combat that I use 3 small 1.5w air pumps, these are super silent, if one dies I got 2 more running and to be honest air pumps used in DWC systems are often oversized and rely on Broscience. In my Salad/Herb NFT Systems I don't use any air pumps and the plants are just fine and grow great. This time I added sprinklers to humidify the air inside the tube, slightly moisturize the Rockwool and speed up root growths. Spoiler: Was a great success :) The ratios for the fertilizers are not accurate in the following weeks, I have a 120l Reservoir that is filled 90-110l I top it up once or twice a week to sustain PH and EC, if you want to copy it just go by the EC and use the B (Calcinit) and A (Kristalon Blue/Orange) 50/50. I mix the solution myself with dry salts that I bought in bulk 25kg bags. 4l Water(distilled/RO preferably, tap water is OK) + 1kg salts mixes just fine, keep the solution dark and cool and it will stay stable for months. Dry salts don't expire if kept cool and dry so only mix what you need and keep the rest stored as dry salts. 40ml A + 40ml B is about 2EC and 6PH with my tap water, very similar to Canna, Plagron etc. isn't it? just with the twist that I pay ~20% of the known brands. P2O5, K2O, MgO etc. are always the same as long as they are produced by a good manufacturer, Yara is a world leader in fertilizer production just not to be found in you general hydroponics or hardware store. Any other known manufacturer is fine as well, pick the cheapest. Check Hoocho on Youtube to see a guide on how to mix your own solutions, it ain't that difficult trust me. From week 5 onwards I also use Oxygen granulate (KMPS, CAS-70693-62-8, 2KHSO₅ * KHSO₄ * K₂SO₄) if you want to use this check pool supply stores and buy the cheapest. Keep this one dry, cool and dark. I used a old pill bottle to keep some ready to go because it came in a 1kg container and I only need 2-4g per serving + the bottle has a silica pack in the cap. From week 6 onwards I used Haifa Grow Clean for Details check week 6, I use this one as dry salts and add it directly to the tank, it does not interact in a bad way with the solution. For meassurements I use a generic 8in1 Meter "PH-W218" branded by many companies, as usual, check stores and buy the cheapest. (Check week 1 for an image of it) I got mine from Aliexpress for ~70€ it uses the Tuya app so you can always check your metrics and export them aswell. The PH and EC probe are accurate and are giving me stable results for almost 1 year now, I re calibrate the PH probe once in a while and it is tops 0.15 off after a month, always double check your results with PH drops/paper. Bluelab is... A LOT more expensive for less value. For the timelapses I use 2 Tappo C210 2k Cameras, these have the ability to make the stream available trough RTSP so that you can access it trough a link in a browser and that way I snap a Screenshot with a raspberry pi :) after that I just render it with blender to a timelapse. I watered them with 250ml and 400uS/cm each. I use the photone app to meassure the luminosity and they are receiving 7000lux aprox. They are all doing well. Although Juana has grown more than de others, they all look pretty happy so far. I plan to increase the light intensity at the end of this week since they won´t be babies anymore sooner than later. Today 22 is second week last day and they are starting to grow noticeably each day. This week I raised the EC to 400uS/cm and watered the plants with 250ml, so I just had to water them again with plain ph balanced water one more time during the week and that was practically it with watering. I also raised luminosity by switching 2 more LED bulbs and getting them all closer to the canopi, about 50cm. that is about 10000 lux in the meter I still spray them all day with ph balanced water, maybe next week I'll spray them with a little bit of Algafort, that can be used in foliar spraying. Humidity stayed at +-58% the last 2 days even with the little humidifier and me spraying them all day. I'm trying to raise RHs so next week I'm planning to lower de temp to 22-23 °C hoping humidity raises more naturally. Next week we also will start with a little of CO2 that is always well recieved.
