Day 60F The PM on the cheese has gotten significantly worse in the last few days. I think it may have something to do with the constant humidity spikes every time I water. I haven’t been running my humidifier at all in flower so maybe it’s having trouble keeping the RH up during lights on. Just another reason to follow a daily watering schedule. The cheese and slurricane look fucking disgusting and I’m starting to doubt that a peroxide wash can totally fix it. It worked well for my outdoor crop so it should be fine but this time there is probably 3x the amount. I’ll make sure to really soak the buds and rinse them off good. Bbb#1 is flopping over like crazy from the weight. Too late to stake it up now so hopefully it holds until next week. Starting to foxtail a bit but nothing too bad. It is now 100% done and ready for chop. Bbb#2 is just getting frostier and frostier by the day. The purple fade is really coming along nicely too. Might reveg. It is now 100% done and ready for harvest. Black garlic #1 is finally filling out! I can’t believe it. Never heard of a plant packing weight on like that in week 8. The breeder did mention that it packs on weight later but I’m stunned. Taking her to 9.5 weeks. Black garlic #2 is looking very average. Average color, average size buds, average frost, average smell, probably an average yield. And it’s starting to get a bit of PM. Overall not happy. Will be taking her to 9.5 weeks. Zkittlez #1 has pleasantly surprised me. It was a bushy runt in veg but came through. It’s the third frostiest in the tent, super dense, stacked tight, smells great and looks great. It’s already got a nice amount of amber so it’s 100% ready for chop. Slurricane #4 looks insanely frosty even under all that PM. If I can’t wash it off it’s going in the trash. I want to chop this asap but have to cut everything at once unfortunately. It’s 100% ready for harvest. Badazz OG cheese is looking like a decent yielder but doesn’t have much else going for it. I think it still has some filling out to do. I can’t even smell the final profile change yet. The leaves are rotting off very quickly. Taking her 9.5 weeks. I don’t mind harvesting a bit later rather than early. From my outdoor experience, when a plant is picked early it smells like hay and wet grass clippings until it’s been curing for 3 weeks. When I harvest late or at 30-50% amber trichomes it smells like same scent profile it had when growing. Just my experience. I’ve read that the tobacco industry adds calcium and potassium carbonate to their crops to help promote fire holding capacity and to increase the whiteness of ash. Turns out some of the organic amendments I bought last week contain exactly that. I’m going to give each plant a light top dress to see if the tobacco industry is onto something.

3/8 - We're at 66 days and she continues to grow wider and denser a few days after I defoliate. The tent real estate is pretty tight right now, so I'm shopping around for a 4x4. After looking at other GL diaries, this strain is known to grow huge! I'm just anxious as to when I'll start seeing buds! 3/10 - Goldie is definitely getting some sunburn on top so I've raised the lamp a few more inches and she's now about 20 inches away and the lamp is dimmed to 75%.. gave a good nute-filled watering with cal mag. Fourth flowering week, so I'm guessing 4 more weeks? I still don't see any developed nugs yet. She's going to be a biggun'!

She is beautiful. Slowed down on water intake but thats fine as I believe the roots are spreading before the fruits fatten

Last final defoliation done, now buds are fully exposed to the lights and the best part, harvest trim will be easier. Still it took me around 8 h altogether to defoliate all of them. Tones of buds and frost , amazing smells. Won't rush will give it a bit more to swell. Love these genetics 💚 3 monsters covered fully in buds.

Weekly update for these girls. They got a defoliated and lollipopped this week. Also went full on into preflower showing pistols and flower sites everywhere. Over all they're growing like champs. Happy Growing.

When I place the steel forks on the stems to keep them from growing up this strain will go all noodle like and bend more fluidly then all the other plants. its like spaghetti or some other pasta related wet noddle thing. Still giving them a 2:1 or 2.5:1 grow vs bloom nutrient. Its helping with some of the pink stems from last week. Feeding strength is up .2 point to reach 900ppm or aorund 1.8EC will leave it here fro the remainder of Veg. Prob will do for 2 more weeks then flip to flower as I just topped them and want to give them some time to recover. NPK ratio of 7-7-14 1:1 equal parts grow/bloom. Grow=8-4-15 Bloom=6-10-14 Boost=1-15-30 "not yet used it yet" Also took some clones from the plants as well, took two main cuttings from each plant, forgot to do the one so its not shown in the first video up the updated clone pics later in the week. If any of these impress me then the clones will go outside and grow there all year for a extra special harvest. Or I'll give them out to some friends and family maybe a little gorilla gardening project, but I will wait before getting ride of them all as I'm still kicking my self in the ass over the Blue Cindy loss. really liked that plant and wish its clones I gave out where still aorund. Lights doing well. The V1 spectrum is good on the medic grow mini sun-2's 240w. No issues so far, dimmed at 80% till flower is initiated then up to 100%, Will test out 13/11 I think as the schedule to give them some more photons for an extra hour vs 12/12 . Bounced back just fine after the strip and just chillin getting fat, not really a fan of these pots, I don't feel I can water as evenly and full soak like I can with my Gro Pro pots.

I want to thank my buddy @FatnastyzBudz for keeping me company on the phone during my 13 hours trimming, without him i would be lost as it started feel like a punishment task. I also want to thank you my followers for your kind words and encouragement to make her a monster. Without your messages a grow is just a grow, but through growdiaries and each other's diaries we want to challenge ourselves every grow Lots of love to you my new friends. Who am i ? until last november i have always grown hydro for a little over 11 years. But growing started to look more and more like work because i was more busy with programming my controllers for the ph / humidity / lights / soil moisture / temperature. Also the realization that i have 2 children and my own house made me nervous for the authorities because where i live growing is not allowed. So i decided to grow smaller where i previously had 200x180x200 space i opted for 70x70x160 with the result that i can only grow 1 strain at a time. The intention is to remain self-sufficient in this way and still be able to exchange or give away something here and there at a party. Although I am sponsored I will not be able to grow every strain because not every strain can deliver the result I need to remain self-sufficient. If you know of an auto strain or photo strain that takes at least 11 to 15 weeks I would like to know so that I can grow it in the future and of course I will try to set a record for that grown strain. Because during the 4 grows that I can do per year I can only try to achieve a record since I cannot show you multiple strains at once. Day 49-56 (Day 1F-5F) (Day 50) Plants are all showing some odd deficiencies and lord only knows what I’m doing wrong this time. I’m guessing I overwatered as I’m seeing a N/mg deficiency. Slurricane is showing some super odd browning and crisping on the lower fan leaves. I have to flip into flower tomorrow (April 21st) as my other tent is at maximum capacity now. Plants look like shit but I have no other choice. Normally I would never do that so close to being flipped. Hopefully this will at least be worth the electricity used. (Day 1F) Switched out timers and flipped. I forgot to put my temperature controllers on the outside of the tent. I will do that ASAP as I don’t want to risk light leaks. (Day 2F) Everything is looking a little better. Ive been noticing that while my A/C is running, I don’t have full power to my light because the ballast is automatically dimming the light. I didn’t run the A/C today and the plants seem to have responded well but correlation doesn’t equal causation. (Day 3F) I decided to toss all the locos except one. I also tossed bg#1 as it shit the bed out of nowhere. Hopefully that will clear up some room in the tent for these others to start thriving. (Day 5F) Plants all responded well to the extra light. Maybe that was a big part of the problem in the first place. I had 17 plants under a 400w. I’m still only running 400w because 600w gets way too hot unless I have my carbon filter running 24/7 which I’m actually starting to consider.

Week 10 - flush has been going for a few days now. Buds are looking snowy, the smell is gorgeous. Some of the leaves are showing a deep purple colour which is common in this strain. She's gonna look great when she's finished. Most of the leaves are showing nutes burn from me being over exuberant in the last Week with the nutes (should've stuck to the plan). After a bit of a chat with a fellow grower who has convinced me that my plant is not ready yet I've decided to keep feeding her for another week or so just hope I haven't ruined her by not feeding for a week. Day 69 and pulled her out of the tent for a bit of a tidy up and she looks amazing. She looks far better in her full glory than his in a tent. I'm very pleased with my first grow, made a few mistakes along the way, but she's looking better than I would of imagined.
