Beautiful plant, crazy foxtails and crazy smells I really enjoyed both plants as they grew with the same conditions but very different. One was a little runt at 55 cm tall while the other was 84 cm. Did not get very purple but still super colourful. Cant wait to dry and smoke

Day 63 Flower (Day 105) I'm back! Iceland was breathtakingly beautiful as usual, and I even managed to see an active volcano. Amazing! I have good news and bad news regarding my girls. The good news is that they are both still alive and are overall looking pretty good. The bad news for the left girl is that the cheap irrigation system failed and only watered around 1 liter of water during the entire week. She was extremely thirsty, although still looking pretty good without any drooping. A couple of her leaves turned purple from the stress, though. I recorded a video just as I opened the tent for the first time after coming back a couple of hours ago. The news is worse for the right girl, though. The irrigation system worked flawlessly, so that wasn't the problem. Instead, I detected bud rot in three buds, and of course, it was in the three most significant colas. Fuuuuuuuu... I also shot a video as I opened the tent, and the affected buds are visible if you are paying attention. I have never had bud rot before, so I will need to do additional research on what to do next. I immediately cut off the affected buds and disposed of them outside. I hope I got all the affected areas, but I will inspect all the buds more closely tomorrow. Been traveling most of the day today and need some rest before scouting her buds. I looked at her trichomes quickly and still couldn't see much amber, but I will have a better look tomorrow. The worms have been busy while gone, though, and they were crawling all over when I lifted the old avocados. They aren't the only ones who have been busy as the fungus gnats are back, Sigh. Only a few so far, but yeah, another thing to sort out. The fun just never ends...

Day 65 - On cruise control, until harvest! I gave her another light defoliation, there wasn't a lot of leaf that was blocking, or bothering me this time :) Added dry koolbloom to the feed at a dosage of 3.125 grams for 2.5 gallons. She's being watered with 2.5 gallons dosage of the above listed nutes, and the runoff is removed with a shop-vac. She drys out in 5 days, and is then ready for another dosage!

Another good week come and gone. A couple of the girls needed nutrients so I add some general hydroponics blend into those that needed them. Didn't seem to make much difference yet. But they are getting into late flower. The purple lemonade, without a doubt, has the best smells out of the crew. Actually lemonade smelling. Plus the color makes this worth exploring more. Week 12 Flower 8 Pink Rozay This week was all about checking trichomes. Pink Rozay trichomes show mostly milk and amber. There are a few heads that are dark brown that indicate too late to harvest. The older pistils are turning orange brown and water consumption is slowing down. These and the trichome indicators indicate readiness. Based on this, I put Pink Rozay in the cool garage with low light and ice on top of the pot at night this week. Start of week 2 There growing like clock work taking the first nutrients like a champ and now we have improved there invoirment they going to take off. Finally have put up the new setup from spider farmer together and I am very pleased with a modern version more control and can watch from distance what's going on . It was a rough week for the girl. We had bad weather this past week very high humidity and lots of rain. I also dealt with some powdery white mold which I was able to get under control by using baking soda and water and removing lots of leaves. The buds are much more dense and the trichomes are starting to turn milky. Ideally I would have liked to keep this plant in the ground one more week but we have more nasty weather coming so I will be most likely be pulling this girl in the next three days. It has been about 11 days since I have given her any nutrients and she has received a lot of rain water. I pulled some of the lower branch when I found the PWM just in-case and I have those dry right now.
