Had to tie this plant down cause it's taller than the fence. It's legal for me to grow but I still don't want to get ripped off or loss of the neighbors. Before flowering all she ever got was water and coffee grounds. I have about 4 weeks of good growing weather and I plan on giving her that long if she needs it.
5 days after my first post the smell has become very potent. I can smell it in the front yard of my house. Starting to see lots of orange hairs now.
I'm new to using nutrients and not quite sure how much she should get per week. The last couple week I only have her 1 liter of water with nutrients is that enough?
Hi @GreenthumbCBD! What's your container's size? 4ml of nutrients by Liter of water seem fine for a photosynthesis strain, but 1L of solution each watering is maybe a bit low. Your plant is big, she must drink a lot. Your diary info says 4L by day, I guess you did not update this information? 4L is probably too much (depending on your container's size), but I think she will enjoy 2-2.5L every 2 days or everyday under hot weather. About the feeding routine, I guess you already know the feeding calculator by AdvancedNutrients : https://www.advancednutrients.com/nutrient-calculator/. This should be a good basis. Don't forget about the flush, 1-2 week(s) before harvest, only plain pH'd water to get rid of any chemicals in the buds. Keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊
Good week over all plant looks healthy and smells very strong. This might be the last week I give it nutrients as I want to flush with water for 2 weeks. This is first grow I have ever used nutrients so I want to make sure I flush it all. There have been a lot of grass hoppers hanging around but I have been getting rid of them as I see them. It's really humid outside here I hope that ends soon.
It was a rough week for the girl. We had bad weather this past week very high humidity and lots of rain. I also dealt with some powdery white mold which I was able to get under control by using baking soda and water and removing lots of leaves. The buds are much more dense and the trichomes are starting to turn milky. Ideally I would have liked to keep this plant in the ground one more week but we have more nasty weather coming so I will be most likely be pulling this girl in the next three days. It has been about 11 days since I have given her any nutrients and she has received a lot of rain water. I pulled some of the lower branch when I found the PWM just in-case and I have those dry right now.
The strain was pretty easy to grow all she got was water and coffee grinds for the 10 weeks of her life. Than for the first time ever I used nutrients and I really can tell the difference from stuff i have grown in the years past. I am happy with the yield although its way to strong for me, I much prefer High CBD flowers. I will most likely turn this into butter and olive oil and use it to help with sleep. Grew great outside with very little issues besides a little PWM that I was able to correct with Baking soda.
