Hi Growmies, I'm excited to share some big news today! Although there have been some unexpected twists, it's all part of the incredible journey of gardening. I've just completed the harvest, a tad earlier than initially planned, due to finding a bit of mold in one of the buds. Despite this minor hiccup, the trichomes were already at a decent 10% to 15% amber. So, all things considered, the timing ended up being pretty spot-on. The harvested weight was a solid 609 grams after trimming, which is quite a feat! A lesson learned for next time: perhaps I let her grow a few too many buds, leading to a denser canopy than ideal. But on the bright side, the aroma is absolutely divine. I sampled an airy bud that had dried a bit, and wow, it packs a stronger punch than its clone mother. And the flavor? Pure, unadulterated cheese – no hint of pineapple here! Now, the anticipation builds for the final dry weight, which I should know in about 3-4 days. Flower day 31 - Having a little trouble with the temperature getting higher than I would like because my dehumidifier puts off some heat while it’s running so it’s been a constant struggle to keep the environment in this tent stable! Definitely will not have so many plants next run lol, but all in all the ladies are growing great & I can’t wait to see how they turn out! The overall cycle was a lengthy process for a fast version variety. Therefore, I would personally consider this as a normal photoperiod type based on this growth experience. However, the results were worth waiting for and produced some extravagant buds with colours unseen before. The taste is somewhat Berry fruity affect along with earth like aroma (I smoke pure cannabis only). Good head high followed by relaxation somewhat, overall excellent plant and would consider growing again. Bit disappointing on the dry weight but its all satisfying in the end. I may try Geotextile pots next time to help boost the yield and performance.

Plants seemed close to finish so i defoliated on day 52. The plants went through shock. I will not be doing this again Attempting Generative steering, i dropped humidity and allow the pots to dry out more. Watering every 2 days by hand

Wondering how much longer PK1 has before harvest. 80% of her pistils have turned amber. Exploring mid week shows me I have at least another week...maybe 2

Things are going good, I am beginning to think about when to harvest. I have tried capturing some microscope shots of the trichomes with a 15x macro lens (BlitzWolf), but they turned out awful. They still look transparent and glasslike, and I did not see many, if any, amber trichomes. I am going on vacation next week, and wonder if plant will be fine with not being harvested before the 8th of July, two weeks from now. Day 3: Watered Day 4: Macro shots. Trichomes look transparent and glasslike, but since this is my first grow, any input from experienced growers is very welcome :-) Day 7: Watered. No amber trichomes in sight, I will wait one more week before the harvest.

Day 65 Day 30 Flower Wow, this is a beast of an auto, she is doubling up these bud sites and keeping them nodes tight af 😋 Side branches where spewing off everywhere... So lollipopping done today, a few side branches lower down that were weaker and just life sucking got struck. I'm waiting to see the bounce back and upload the pictures as I know she will definitely show me some resilience 😍💚 I like this strain, I love this freebie. Day 67 Day 32 Flower - drinking Alot now, feeding every other water, 5L a go, 10%run off. I do this to prevent salt build up. It shows in comparison to when I didn't the amount of salts left in the bottom corners of the fabric pots. Fattening up nicely, bounced right back after I gave her a light hair cut and pulled some side arms and lollipopping. She is a strong bean 💪💚 Day 68 Day 33 Flower - Final pluck of the lollipopping and the defoliating. She really has swollen nicely since the first time. I have done pre photos and afters. Feed today, heavy, top up soil mix in pot incase up root. 😎💚
