Hope everyone is having a great weekend. It was a good week for the ladies, all the toppings are complete, and now I am just focusing on some LST to try and keep all 8 tops level on all the ladies. Today is day 42 and I just removed the milk crates that all of the ladies were sitting on to give them more vertical space. I am still feeding GH nutrients, silica, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will transition to flower nutrients approximately one week after flipping to flower. I have found that it is important to continue feeding plenty of Nitrogen through the stretch. The only way I would transition sooner is if I was running out of vertical space. Still very happy with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. Week 11: So by now the plant has stopped or at least slowed down drastically on the stretching. It’s stacking up on the buds and some of them fattening up amazingly. Trichomes are generally milky white but still have some clear ones so going to wait a bit more than probably start flushing next week, but obviously depending on the coming days and how it develops.

Bueno familia ya finalizamos con el proyecto de las Runtz de seedstockers, son una cepa bestial. La verdad que el secado muy bien 9 días en Malla y a los botes, 40% humedad y 21 grados es la temperatura ambiental que han tenido en el secado, aparte deshumidificador enchufado 24 horas al día. En resumen la cepa es muy fácil de cultivar, el germinado se me resistió igual es complicado el germinado pero el resto es simple resistente fácil de alimentar pienso que es rápida los tricomas ya estaban hechos y se me hecho el tiempo encima. 3/16: Rain let up for half the day, but more tonight...damnit... They are due for a watering tomorrow, but with the high RH, maybe not... 3/17: They weren't ready for water yet, so I slept for a few bonus hours! (rare) Both of these plants continue to pack on the pistils with no signs of slowing down...I thought surely the shortie would be ready to flush this week, but she's not even close to ready yet.😕 It rained for most for the day....again... 3/18: I watered them with about 1/2 gallon each including terpinator, signal, sweet & sticky, cal-mag, armor si, endoboost, humic acid, and a little cha ching. It rained all night again..and most of the day today. I took some photos with the qb's turned off and a 135w 5500k CFL on.. 3/19: It rained all night and several times again today...ffs....I've started building an Ark in my free time 😁 3/20: Rained again on and off today..RH still too high... 3/21: I took the shortie out of the closet today to inspect her trichomes. I took about 2-dozen close-ups and zoomed in really close on my PC and couldn't find a single amber anywhere...and prolly only about 30% cloudy at this point.. I went ahead and took some cuttings from her while I had her out. Hopefully I can get at least one to survive and grow outdoors this season. I also took some cuttings from the FFT#6 (the other shortie), and I started a couple of other FFT's (5 & 7) which I'll train out as horizontally as possible to match the shortie's heights. 3/22: Rained again last night several times...and again today for a couple hours...ridiculous. Woke up with RH at 65%!!! Been chatting with other FFT growers and they all seem to be losing a lot of produce to botrytis...I'm starting to freak out..😳

This week I was mostly smoking Panama Red. Hit a wee bump as it seems I never learn my lesson by bringing outside plants inside, some sap-sucking greenfly aphids decided my grow tent was a perfect new home. The thing about trying to recreate a "perfect" environment for growth, it can also be perfect for a host of unwanted problems. All the holes I've cut into the tent don't help I'd guess either. The 5 species of Clover is far more dense a cover crop than I'd imagined it would be. The chaplain overdone his blessings it seems. The blue borage companion plant was the first to be suckled on by unwanted visitors, I'd say 90+% of the aphids I found were eating on the underside of the borage leafs. I gave her a good bath and thorough scrub with some soap, just need to give her time to bounce back. If I can't beat them, I'll join them. Only I'll be the one who decides what predators lurk under the canopy! This will need time and research. Back to it I guess. I split the stem at the top cola’s and trimmed off all the excess leaves. Swapped out a light to one that barely fits my tent and running at 50% and below.

4/26: I top-dressed their pots with about a tablespoon of Happy Frog Cavern Culture and watered it in really slowly with about 1/4 gallon of water each and added cal-mag, humic acid, liquid molasses, silica. I also started them on open sesame. I increased Ph to 6.40 to ensure that they can utilize the increased calcium and the P and K I'm giving them now. 4/27: I bent over their apical colas and tied them down today, and did a little bit of training on the bigger one to "spread her legs" nice and proper.👍 4/29: Both plants are stretching a little bit, but not nearly as much as I had hoped they would.....James Brown said it best: "Got to get on up!" 5/1: I gave them a little water with cal-mag, boomerang, humic acid, and silica. 5/2: I sprayed them with boomboom spray this morning...grow bitches, grow! 5/3: I did a slow-soak feeding today. Backed off the nitrogen a little more, increased silica, and started adding sweet & sticky and signal.

Finally harvested

Topped off with nutrients rich water 1100 ppm.

next time i have to veg more then 4 weeks to increase yield. it finishes quickly and big yield for the short veg time. im also very happy with the optic 4 wich made the buds dense from top to bottom. i might upgrade to cocos or hydro next grow, or maybe both ;)
