Okay so the result of my LST surprised me like a lot. The plant looks great under the light, it’s still my second grow so I hope to learn a lot about the beautiful plants and how they respond. I want to experience everything to learn from them and know how to respond. I think this week went good but the dry wet cyclus is something I really needed to learn this week. I first tried watering every day but i noticed that the soil wasn’t dry at all, so I thought no that’s maybe just the soil. *Ive learned this cycle in the next week* spoiler alert: it wasn’t I still give around 1 tbsp of the molasses because the plant is really responding good to it. The small plant is also looking healthy so perfect, just keep giving her love. I did a big oops: So, the plant grew bigger and bigger and faster then I could keep up. So I decided to lst some more, Olga went perfect and I build a lot of confidence from that. So... busy with the other “big” plant and I started doing the head top, but the band was just to tight, but I noticed that to late *SNAP*. Did I just snapped the biggest branch of the middle plant? Yes, I hated myself for 4 days until I thought: there are no mistakes, just happy..... (fill in with your brainpower) well see what happens

i was using bottle water since the firat day but dint realise that the water was filtered (probably) and had only 7mg/l of calcium ,mag and iron. Instead of buying cal +mag (which i will buy for my next grow) i checked other brands of bottles water and found Evian that has 80 mg/l calcium ,25mg/l mag (i know its not worth it but i was feeling safer to use "bottle" water at the begining because it was also phd at 6.5) so my question now is : plant had a cal+mag def . Considering that before i was giving it only 7mg/l of cal+mag now that im giving it 80mg/l of calc and Around 40-50mg/l magnesium just by changing water brand also 4 ml of alg a mic that has cal+mag + molasses that iv started this week 1(tablespoon has around 100mg of calcium) .Do you think it will be enought to fill the needs of the plant? As i said buds are still growing normally and plant has another 14-17 days to still fatten the buds :) Today if seen some orange hairs on them . thank you thank you.

Week 1 of the latest cycle and starting out with some new hardware and an expanded grow print👍. We’re running 4 autos via a recirculating Dutch bucket system. First time on a dutchy so it’s gonna be interesting to see how it stacks up against DWC. I’ll give a full rundown on the system I’ve cobbled together on the next update. So far - all seedlings have germ’d without issue using the standard p-towel method. Why more people don’t use this method on GD is beyond me. It’s so reliable that some breeders even warranty your seeds if you use this method and more than 1 seed fails to crack. We’ve got little sprouts coming up now and it’s all just waiting for those first couple fan leaves to come out and those roots to run to the bottom of each bucket. They’ve been placed in root riot cubes (essentially a version of rapid rooters) like most of our runs and I’d recommend their use with all autos. Time and stress on young autos is key so they need the absolute best start you can give them👌. End of week update - looks like we got 4 quality little seedlings here👍. Alls good other than battling a ph issue for most of the week. Keeps spiking overnight for no real reason - hopefully it’ll even out and isn’t the early sign of a major problem🤞. Background The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. July 27: starting the second week of force flowering by providing 10 h darkness in garage plus ‘2 bonus hours’ from the 730 nm far red light. The use of the far red light is like getting a 26 hour day. So 12 h dark plus 14 h sunlight. Anyway, she is stretching a bit and clearly starting to flower. Looks good. New growth is pretty yellow so did a foliar spray of Epsom salts to give her Mg and S. July 30: great conditions the last few days and she is growing great. Mostly just pHed water lately to avoid over-doing it on the nutes. Looks healthy and happy. Aug 2: watered with some molasses and about 1 tbsp per gallon of Epsom salts (MgSO4). Still doing 10 h in dark garage and using the 730 nm far red light to get an extra 2 h in dark mode.

These ones are aight for the time being Aight so the other day I found another hermie in the very early stages. So I emptied the tent and sat in there in the pitch black for 15 minutes to let my eyes adjust looking for anywhere light could get in. Because I have 2 veg tents in the same room on 19 hr schedules it's impossible for me to have the room the tent is in be pitch black. There was no leaks in the fabric but the air vents at the bottom, even tho I only have 3 open a little bit, let in the slightest amount of light. I had to toss out a mandarin cookies R1V2, a bwiz x Rocberry and a gushers. I found a male flower on a Hawaiian snow x wc x g33 on a lower but instead of tossing it I removed all the lowers and am going to check daily to see if its aight or not. I ordered a ac infinity 4 inch fan, some light proof ducting and a intake carbon filter to be able to set up a intake and close the vents. Very little pollen may have dropped which could seed everything but I might have found it just in time we will see. I almost retired on the spot but I'll give the intake fan a shot as a last ditch effort. Otherwise I would have to remove the veg tents or have intake fans and no open vents for all tents. This was our second time growing weed and cinderella 99. The first time we didn't have the ideal lighting, so we decided to buy better ones and we could see the difference. We decided to test other techniques like main-lining and lollipoping that gave very interesting results. We also made feminized seeds, so we learned to make our own colloidal silver and that also forced us to learn how to clone, which by the way worked out very well. We got three healthy clones and after using colloidal silver they all produced bags of pollen that we used to pollinate the mother plant and some other plants from the grow. Happy with the result, but we want more! Already planning the next cycle and look forward to sharing it!

@ 1.4 kPa Stretch is over I am removing leaves on bottom of plants and also removing any buds that aren't receiving light. I am always removing a few everyday instead of removing all at once to prevent stress. Also adding grow fertilizer for a while as I have feeling the leaves lost a bit color.

i feed with nutes last watering about two days ago my idea is to feed one more time before the two week flush not really sure yet i have at lease a week to figure it out being the end of the plants life cycle is soposed to end in another week idk master growers were yall at?????😅
