Week 1 and the first round of testing for this recent new cross. The F1 generation of Northern Spice. Germination was a full 100% with varying degrees of development across 3 days in the towel. Oddly however, about half of the beans cracked the shell head first with their cotelydons. Stability is always suspect with F1s anyway, but this kind of sampling, this early is concerning somewhat. We’ll see where it goes. On another topic, we also made some big changes to the grow method this cycle. We’ve moved over to a grow system by the bucket company. Fairly similar to the Dutch bucket design, just without the small reservoir in each bucket that acts as an additional insurance policy. So far, she’s purr’n like a kitten👌. Strain details She’s a mix of a particularly strong Northern Lights, mixed with a Spicy Bitch sativa hybrid. The hope is that we’ll be able to combine the overtly narcotic effects in the NL and mellow it out somewhat with the quality daytime sativa effects found in the SB. Both strains feature numerous grower qualities. Both parents possessed vigour and resiliency, the SB particularly colourful in late flower.

Most of the day the ladies are under a roof due to rain. Maybe tomorrow a bit of sunshine but the weekend doesnt look good. Like i said another rainy Day,hang in there ladies!

Dry weight of quality buds was 34g. I don’t wet weigh as it’s completely pointless. Quite a lot of trim for the hash bag. Tastes great

Have got the soil good ph i am pretty sure. I have got good growth out of the last week and few inches and some fan leafs and they look just barley burned and they are way happy standing up so I am thinking (fingers crossed) that I have got it under control. Going to do a trim and take some clones in the next week. Then a train for a couple weeks and put her in in flower tent get used to that light and flower her see what I get. Still just doing declorinated water at 6.5 let the soil do her job. Stay tuned

Blüte Woche 8 Die Pflanzen entwickeln sich mega In dieser Woche habe ich denn EC wieder von 3,0 auf 2,5 heruntergesetzt. Bei der Pflanze hinten Rechts gibt es keine weiteren Verschlechterungen oder Verbesserungen zu erkennen, aber sie entwickelt sich auch weiter, nur langsamer und anders :-). Trichome (THC) entwickelt sich sehr heftig.

Wow! That's what I find myself saying every time I look into this beautiful flower tent! It's the end of week four bloom and dang am I happy lol. I'm absolutely in love with this plants strong indica structure. She looks so strong and sturdy, can't wait to see how she looks in full bloom, stacked up with flower... gorgeous plant. We're running the insect Frass now, full strength and I also put down some hummus and compost as a top dressing just to be sure that these ladies have enough food. Man i'm stoked about these cherry's 😁 @ Day 16 of flower i found on 2 of the lady's purple pistills😱, and some slight traces of purple on the leaves. I also finaly took iniative to do some clean up under the skirt lol, and did a good defol @ Day 14. My feeding regime seem to work quite wél with these no deficiënties or burn i @ EC 1.5. I'm Dome talking Growmies lol, rock on💚

Graduated, and am off from work for a few weeks, so went overboard on photos. Plant is doing well, leaves are starting to turn yellow (strain trait). Can't wait for the harvest and being able legally gift my xmas ornaments to my cousins during our "cousins walk" at our family xmas party.

Day 43 - Both girls are doing well, one stopped growing tall at around 68 cm, other one is still growing. Hope this week they will start getting frosty (:

The Canna Crumbly cocoa biscuits are always a delicious opportunity to fill up on energy. They are easy to prepare!   Ingredients: 30g Bitter Cocoa 300g flour 200g butter 100g sugar 5 eggs 1 bar of milk chocolate with whole hazelnuts HOW TO PREPARE THE CHOCOLATE BISCUITS 1. Boil the eggs for 8 minutes, cool them and shell them.  2. Blend the egg yolks and set aside.  3. Mix the butter in a bowl with the sugar, add the flour and egg yolks, mix, then add to the mixture a bar of milk chocolate with whole hazelnuts previously blended into small pieces (I used the knife for a coarse mince) 4. Add the cocoa to half of the mixture and let them rest in the refrigerator for about half an hour.  5. At this point, roll out the pastry to about half a centimetre, then create the variegation between the two doughs (here you can have fun), once the biscuits have been formed, arrange them on a baking tray with baking paper and bake everything for 12-15 minutes at 170 degrees. IMPORTANT: I put double the recommended dosage for the butter, thinking I was an expert smoker, but, next time I will follow the doses because I slept 12 hours, the edibles have a prodigious effect but you need to calibrate well otherwise you risk going to sleep at 8 pm!😇💤

Woche über haben sich die Blüten weiter entwickelt. Die Trichome wurden mehr und man fängt an erste Terpene zu riechen. Wir haben Donnerstag (BT 2) stark entlaubt und schauen jetzt wie die Pflanzen wachsen. C.C ist bissl kleiner aber trotzdem hat sie starke Triebe und scheint gute Blüten auszubilden. Der Geruch ist aufjedenfall schon funky.

Planeo controlar la atmósfera a partir de la inyección de CO2 en la semana 2 o 3 para ver más. Mientras tanto tengo algunos picos de temperatura por encima de los 28 pero son realmente específicos. Welcome to week 4 For Enigma in this Seedsman Tiny & Rare pot contest. After a bad start to week 3 she recovered well. Today I have added an air hose into her pot. It's run by a 5v 1w usb pump, connected to a 5v 2w solar usb panel. Using this I have been able to test the effectiveness of the light at different angles and ranges. The pump runs at full power within 30cm of the light. From there it slows rapidly down to 70 where it stops completely. I need a better light. Day 23: I have reconfigured the tent. I replaced the solar panel with a plug as I need the air to run when light is off too. My idea here is that if you can DWC with airstones, maybe if I blow air to her roots she can handle being in a saturated medium, thus allowing me to ensure she always has nutrition available. If it works as I hope, I may be able to have her exceed the size she might otherwise achieve in this pot. I have refilled the pot with fertigate every time the bubbles stop. There is no way its evaporating this fast. She has now been totally saturated for at least the last 6 hours and no drooping. Day 24: Been a bit lazy topping up her liquid but I'm confident the air pump is working as intended. Day 25: Enigma is on day 2 of a little dry-out experiment. Day 25.5 Enigma was wilting, so I fertigated her until the pot was full and then topped her up again twice. Day 26: Drowned her. Whoops. Day 27: Let her get too dry. Whoops. This is not easy. Day 28: End of week 4. Enigma suffering. It's difficult to get a balance between sufficient nutes and moisture levels.
