Hey all, Its been a few weeks so lets take a peak at our Blueberry manifold. Last time we topped our girl down to the 3rd node and removed all other growth except the two growth tip and their fan leaves. Over the past two weeks shes continued to grow an addition four pairs of leaves on each arm. This wee we will cut those branches back to the 3rd node and then clean all other growth from the plant except what remains on the 1st and 3rd node of each side. This should give us 8 main colas that will grow up from these eight remaining growth tips. Continuing to feed as normal while trying to get the soil PH up to a proper level.

Our number #17 grows really well, the leaves have only a few flaws and are tapered a little curled perhaps but I think that's the effect of the beginning, the stem is straight and does not bend and is very well proportioned. I am giving Plagron Pwer Roots rooting soon starting with Alga Grow. The plant grows well, the leaves are regular and very turned towards the light, it is very proportionate even I don't see stretching, bending and things that don't convince me. The girls have already been poured into 11 liter jars because the biodegradable jars have started to decompose prematurely, no problem let's go to the ground. Man this week has been taking forever, my theory is it will only get slower relative to harvest just because my excitement. I top dressed with about 2 inches of worm castings with an eyeballed mix of 2tbps of bone meal (3-14-0, bloom fert.), 1.5-2tbps of Gaia green all purp.(4-4-4, I don’t have an actual potassium fert. Like leingbenite So I use this), 3tbps of dr earth kelp meal (1-.05-2 has many different vitamins, amino acids, carbohydrates) and 2tbps of mykos (for microbiology inoculation and nutrient uptake/upkeep). So I every time I water I have this old 2gallon water tin that I usually fill up about a quarter to half way full. Using this amount of water and the 5 gallon bucket of my soil mix makes my watering schedule once every 3 days (on average). I do use bottle nutrients but it’s mainly for the supplementing. For feeding I use 2-3ml to half a gallon for all bottle nutrients, I have never gone over, and I have never had deficiency’s that can hinder plant development. Deficiency's: PSA: Now if anyone happens to read and actually look at my plants please do look closely and maybe let me know if you see something that I have missed since I’m still very new. I noticed my plant was having a cal mag issue so that’s why I top dressed with worm castings, I also top dressed with about 3tbps of azomite (I feel using azomite it may help with all those unnoticeable deficiency’s that a new grower might miss). I’ve been noticing on some of the leaves the very tips are showing discoloring, since the color is still so vibrant mostly I can rule out nitrogen, phosphorus, Iron, manganese, and sulphuric. It’s still very early stage so I did an extremely light foliage feeding (in the dark to prevent UV damage) of 2ml of big bud, big bloom, and tiger bloom, mixed into half a liter of water, I then emptied the spray bottle and sprayed with tap water just to make sure there’s no nute burning. Today I fed the plant through water amendments with 3ml of big bud, 3ml of bud candy, 3ml of big bloom, and 2ml of tiger bloom;(my theory is hopefully the nutrient deficiency’s will go away) My soil mix is pretty basic. 40% coco, 10% perlite, 10% well composted chicken manure, 20% black gold compost, 20% worm castings. I’m not going to put the fertilizer amendment percentage to be honest I eye ball it but there’s a rough general measurements that I do.

So this will be the last week on the flush she has 24hour light off now so almost an end to my 3.1 Dwc experiment it’s been a hell of a Ride she stings and is frosty to hell thanks to who every followed my Diary many more to come 👍

Smell of terps is filing the air! Plant has gone in hard now with flowering! Plant is starting bulk up and produce some nice sized colas. Sitting under 11 hours of light, switches off at 5 in the morning and in time for some colder temps to help push trich production, good idea for winter times in the southern hemisphere as keeping lights on during the night and off during the day certainly helps combat stunted growth due to cold weather. Week 5 flowering for our banana purple punch from fastbuds 420! The buds are starting to get fatter day by day, we continue with our food program. This week again we gave sugar shot, sticky fingers, bloom booster, silica, amino and master root all from xpert nutrients. All good at the moment 🤗

Another decent week in regards to growth, I'm sure that by mid way through next week flowering will begin. The leafs on this lady are hugh, she is competing with two other plants in the tent which may not be the best position for her but all is looking good and one of the other ladies will be harvested soon allowing More space to thrive. The weather has been ok, nothing that will slow this lady down.

------------------------- | BLUEBERRY HARVEST | ------------------------- After two sunny days it is harvest time !! - Finally, 16 days of flush - At first thought, the trimming would be easier compared to my previous plants, but when removing more leaves, more buds appearing too hahaha so it took like 4 hours or more..It is not the most accuurate trimming but i had not much time that day, i removed all the leaves and branches after weighting it all.. Like i said on the last post, im harvesting having in mind my bud preferences (the later the better), weather, humidity and sunlight, so the first of the cloudy/rainy days she was chopped in the moring, attending the principle of thc regeneration at night.. Got to say that, i wasnt expecting such production (8 days until it was well dried), this plant started as the season saver because the Cheese started to flower in march, revegged etc.. and i have been rewarded with this BB, a true genetic portent !! If i could, i would keep her as mother forever ^^ The quality is awesome, she looks more like a WW talking about that coat of thc.. Flavour without proper cure, is deep earthy at first, transitioning to a fruity, sweet one, it is a pleasure to smoke, delicious sweet aftertaste.. Maybe, this is the last year with this awesome climate, because im planning to leave Spain.. Thank you for follow and check !!!
