Since i stop spray neem oil and wood vinegar on plants some pests showing up But i counter them physically I don’t want to spray anything on the buds My balcony is my heaven now I spend all my time with my girls i don’t go for weekends because i have to water them everyday in the 4:30 am! We have reached the first harvest, I do not mark it as harvested because the other one is still going and will be harvested in 7 - 10 days. Here we are with our Blue Cheese F1 Hybrid by Zamnesia, it was the first to be harvested in just 59 days, born in fact on September 1st, all of it was harvested on October 30th, not bad at all. The flowers are really beautiful, excellent resin, skunky scent as we like it a little gray, as soon as we smell skunk we fly into the past, far from indie and commercial music and with generic nostalgic references. Here with a smell of skunk we teleport to the coffee shops of Amsterdam in the late 90s. It often happens to me when I smell the flavors and smells of the first super herbs I smoked. With Skunk and derivatives more than anything. And then with Cheese which is precisely a derivative and with Bubblegum I go straight back to that coffee shop. The amount of grass is average, the plant is not very tall, about 90 cm and has been cleaned underneath, the largest is 100 cm, it will give us a lot of grass, the phenotypes are slightly different despite being f1 but at least two phenotypes seem obvious to me, we must grant them, mom and dad. I did a big flush but the plant arrived a bit green anyway, I had exaggerated in pumping a bit and I anticipated the harvest by about a week when I saw my jars almost empty. Let's be clear, we are still at an excellent amount of mature pistils, about 75%, and as for trichomes we are a bit amber, mostly cloudy and also some transparent still. But whatever, we are ready anyway. Day 94 - today the temperature inside the tent dropped to 10-12 degrees Celsius. So it's harvest time. I trimmed almost all the leaves and hung the plant in a dark place to dry at a temperature of 12 degrees. This is not enough, but unfortunately there are no other conditions. Drying may take longer than the usual 10-12 days. The plant itself has stretched almost a meter in height, the roots are also impressive.

The plants have been sitting in a homemade dome for a few days now. Today I decided to move them back to the ziploc dome so I could move my light a little closer. I was scared it would burn them but they seem fine so far, and they stretching a little too much imo. I think next time I pop seeds or run clones I need to get a small fluorescent to keep a few inches away from the plants so they dont stretch as much. Either way, they look good. I even broke the machine elves putting the dome on. I had some duct tape and a paper clip handy so I did some first aid and its kept growing. It was almost broke off completely so I'm not sure if itll make it in the long run. Cool to see how plants can survive something like that tho. It's not only looking fine, but it's the tallest too. I think my new humidifier is gonna be here Wednesday so until then I'll keep the domes on. I'm trying to make some taller domes too so I might not even need the humidifier yet. For now I've connected the veg tent to the flower tent with some ducting. It seems to be keeping it around 50% RH. I might keep this connected until I need to connect my filter. I'm hoping to have these ready to move to my flower tent in 4-5 weeks. Ideally I'm planning to have a perpetual harvest going that will let me harvest every 4-5 weeks.

Not a bad plant to harvest, trim jail was about 2 hours long. She is now in the herb dryer hopefully getting a slow dry. Then cure for a couple weeks and will update the smoke report and add some more pictures. Thanks for following.

Grow is looking very bushy. Raised the light up about 6". This is a 60 dsy strain. So we have about 4 weeks left in the flower process. Interested in what the roots will look like.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. This lady has been Transplanted on day 39 since she was planted (may 10th) and I've prepared the 15L pot with the complete line of biotabs using 2 spoons of startrex for every 5L, sprinkled a couple of grams of mycotrex on the transplant hole before putting the plant and then I added 3 slow release tabs one biotab for every 5L of soil, so that's why in this case I added 3, after the Transplant was done I immediately watered the plant with 1ml/L of orgatrex and 1g/L of bactrex, I hope you guys enjoy my work this season!!

We are now in middle of week 11 and 1 plant will be ready for harvest in around 7-10 days.

This week I have seen the bud sites really coming on I removed the last few leaves I am going to as they were over shadowing other but sites. They smell heavenly and I can't tell you how beautiful they are and they love the monkey nutrients. I will start pk 14/15 this week These ladies are growing everyday and I am so excited to see there daily progress from here on in Thanks for reading 💚💚🌱🌱

Been a working week! Defoliated twice! First I did lower fan leaves, waited a few days and snipped the Rest to allow light to reach all news growth! Dynomyco is a banger it’s got these girls so sturdy! Just look at the stems and how much growth I have already and this is just day 28 in veg! A lot more to come! I can’t wait! Still continuing with foliar sprays a few times a day!

7/30/23 - Day 48 - OK, so last I posted, I have been waiting to see how tall she grows. She does not seem to be stopping her growth I'm going to try some super cropping. I've never done this before, but it honestly does not seem like a bad thing. Hurt the plant a little, and the response should be more THC. The reason for hurting the plant is so that you can bend the plant as you need it. She's sleeping now, but when she wakes up, ill take a look and possibly start to super crop. Currently, I am working on implementing the auto water feature of the LEAF Grow system, which is quite convenient to set up. All it requires is to hook it up to a standard hose outlet, saving you time and effort. By using Reverse Osmosis (RO) water instead of tap water, I can ensure a controlled and optimal environment for my plants. Tap water contains various additives like copper, zinc, and chlorine, which can't be measured precisely and might affect plant growth. In a successful grow operation, every aspect needs careful control, and water is of utmost importance. RO water, with its near-zero ppm, ensures that there are no unwanted additives, offering the best conditions for plant development. Although RO water is not produced under pressure, I've found a suitable solution to address this concern. To achieve the required pressure for the LEAF unit, which is rated for 30 - 80 PSI, I've researched and discovered that a sump pump would work perfectly in this setup. This pump adds the necessary 30 PSI to the water line as it is drawn from the inlet, eliminating the need to pressurize a bottle or container, thus avoiding potential hazards associated with excessive pressure. I'll be documenting my progress with pictures as I set up this system, and I can't wait to witness the auto water feature in action, saving me from the hassle of manually adding water. Super Crop: I did about half of the plant in a Super Crop today. Meaning I damaged the branches enough to bend them. The plant will work overtime to fix them, but also, the Resin and THC will be surging through the plant in a rush to be more defensive against what it more than likely a predator eating it. I did my best to make the branches pliable. I think I did a good job. I was so scared that I was going to snap them.... and I did; on a couple, they split up the side. So I grabbed my duct tape and added a bandaid. I have been worried sick about how she would handle all the destruction. After about 3 hrs, I saw that all the Super Cropped branches were already reaching back up. This is a great sign that the plant is doing well and that all the branches I was sure were to fall off are thriving. Again I think this box is magic. The topping didn't stunt any growth, trimming a 3-gallon bucket full of leaves 1st week into flower didn't stunt any growth, and Super Cropping 2 weeks into flowering seems to be thriving. I'm going to get to experiment with this LEAF box on all kinds of strains. The possibilities are endless. Just one theory I want to try, Purple. I want to grow a strain known for its purple, and I want to grow it a few times, each time growing it colder and colder to document and show how cold might affect the purple color like we have all read and heard about. These are the kinds of things that I think about and why I choose LEAF. Ill be back to update tomorrow morning. 8/1/23 - Day 50 - I updated some of the pictures. Flowering is going well. Every day the water is less, and the buds are bigger! I scoped out some of the buds already. Now we just wait. i have a water change coming up in a few days.
