Intermediate Results Overview This grow was intense! Setting up the grow consumed so much of my time and focus that I started slacking at work, and it took me a month to get back on track. But hey, what’s the point of a job if it gets in the way of growing? 😉 In the end, everything worked out, and I gained invaluable experience. This was my first grow using coco coir. At first, I didn’t get it, but then it just clicked! Now I’m hooked: "I’m here to stay." Coco is more controlled than soil, flushes easily, and you can introduce beneficial microbes, which thrive in it. My main takeaway from this grow? If you buy coco, don’t forget CalMag! Next time, I’ll definitely install HEPA filters at the intake. The amount of dust was insane, and the grow box pulls air like a vacuum cleaner. Watching the timelapse, you can see the box sucking in every bit of dust. I vacuumed the intake filters weekly. The plant was incredibly sticky, but that also meant it caught a lot of lint and fibers between trichomes, especially visible under a microscope. Smoking microplastics? No, thank you! --- On CO2 CO2 only works if everything else is dialed in. If the plant experiences stress from deficiencies or overfeeding, you can forget about it. Since CO2 supplementation requires turning off the exhaust fan, it’s hard to manage temperature and humidity. The plant releases so much moisture that RH jumps to 80% within minutes. It’s doable, but definitely a challenge. --- On Magnetic Fields No clue what’s happening here yet, but it’s fascinating! I’ll test again with a control sample. --- Nutrients Dreams do come true—I’ve tested almost everything Advanced Nutrients offers. It wasn’t all smooth sailing; their feeding charts need adjustments for your conditions, and you usually need to feed less than recommended. Overall, I’d say the nutrients performed 100%, and I see no reason to switch. I’ll stick with them for future grows. --- Strain This strain is reliable, though not the most productive. It flowered exactly as advertised and delivered a frosty finish. It tolerated all my mistakes like a champ—especially mold. Despite an abandoned SCROG plan turning the plant into a bouquet, there wasn’t a single mold spot, even in the densely packed lower buds that got almost no light. Zero mold issues! --- Aroma As advertised: pine, wood, and citrus. At first, I thought it smelled like grapefruit, but now I’m leaning toward bergamot. Bergamot with a classic weed aroma—a recognizable twist on the usual scent. During the grow, the smell was strong, but the carbon filter handled it perfectly. --- Flavor It’s too early to say, but the flavor is definitely there! Embarrassingly, all my past harvests tasted the same—like nothing. Just smoke. This one has a distinct sour taste. I’m excited to see how it develops after curing. --- Effect Too early for a full review, but I love what I’ve tried so far. The high lasts about three hours, with euphoria and relaxation. It’s the perfect evening strain. I’ve smoked a lot over the years, but I’ve never experienced true euphoria—until now. Guess I’ve been stuck with garbage and ditch weed before. 😅 It’s not a strain for productivity or chores, but it’s perfect for chilling, watching something, or chatting. No anxiety, just great vibes. It feels like having a beer after a long day: you relax, and life feels good again. --- Roots The roots were healthy—maybe too healthy! While the AirPot (20L) prevented root circling, it didn’t eliminate it entirely. There were dead zones at the bottom where roots circled around the perimeter. A dense root mat formed at the bottom (so dense you couldn’t poke a finger through it), which likely contributed to salt buildup. Breaking through that mat required more water, and I suspect this caused EC to spike 1.5x the next day if there was no runoff. Next time, I’ll mix some pumice with the substrate at the bottom, about 3–4 cm deep. --- Timelapse I only got the timelapse running after the switch to flowering, so it’s not from the beginning. Still, it’s an incredibly useful tool for understanding growth rates. I’ll definitely use it for future grows. Comparing yesterday to today is one thing, but rewinding a week to see how things were is game-changing. I recommend it! You can even use an old phone with a timelapse app if your camera doesn’t support it by default. --- What’s Next I’ve grown fat buds before, but I’ve always neglected curing. This time, I’m doing it by the book with full control. Drying in the grow box with RH controlled at 50–60% (averaging 55%) for a slow, even dry. Temps are kept between 20–23°C, with frequent venting to keep it below 21°C for terpene preservation. After 7–10 days, when small stems snap with a characteristic sound, I’ll trim and jar them with humidity sensors. For the first two weeks, I’ll burp the jars twice daily, then reduce to once daily for the next two weeks. After that, I’ll monitor the RH sensors and adjust as needed. I’ll share the details after curing is complete. After drying, I’ll weigh the buds, take photos, and share another post in a month or two after curing to report on the flavor and aroma. For now, I’m taking a breather, fine-tuning my setup, and preparing for my next grow: Wizard Trees - Zangria S1.

10/15 This week saw a few snags. Both gorilla zkittlez girls are showing what looks like a Mg def i.e yellowing between veins and green veins themselves. This isn't the first time they've exhibited these symptoms. Currently the heaviest affected leaves are the lowest fan leaves farthest from the light. Aiming to keep it that way. I think it's pH swinging too low. I need to pay more attention to my feeds but sometimes I don't have the time to pH my water as properly as I should. The reason I say it's that and not a deficiency is because they are also showing signs of over feed (yellow leaf tips) only a one half-strength feed did this. There must be plenty of food left in the pot. I'm thinking the flip is gonna come at the end of the week. I'll clean up some lower foliage tomorrow or Sunday and let them grow the rest of the week. 10 weeks seems like a nice round number to me. What a stretch from the last week, week and a half... Both of the gelato and forbidden runtz are 3 feet tall!! The vigor and structure look great, I let these 2 go as a normal plant with no training and they have proven themselves to be great plants.

Week 5 (11/30 - 12/6): Things are getting excitingggggggg!! I had to get some gloves because the buds are getting sticky -icky -ickyyyyy. I mean over these two weeks you wouldn't even recognize this tent. The flowers have really packed on some size and the smell is increasing by the day. It feels like we are coasting and just need to keep things watered at this point, but we have our lights up as high as they can go, so we are hoping we don't get too much more of a stretch from the plants. Next week will be our last topdress for these plants with our Gaia Green 2-8-4, and from there we will have about 4/6 more waterings with our terp tea and we will be just about done with our feeding schedule. We are considering another layer of trellis, and we had to upgrade our PH pen AGAIN.. so to all new growers, don't waist the money, get the Blue Lab from the start and take good care of it. We learned our lesson with $20. Otherwise, I don't have much to say other than stand by for some big ole harvests coming your way. Check out our before and after pics!

Day 36 11/6 - General: She keeps going up, and you can see more and more pistils everywhere. Techniques: Made some adjustments to the tallest and longest arms, tried to level everything and did what I thing is my last defoliation. Maybe another one a few days before I chop her down. But at this stage, I think we're done. Feeding: After last night feeding, she had a lot of water in the bottom of the pot, so I emptied it and today there's no food for her. One day abstinence, just a little mist before lights on. Smell: #3 still win the show and is 9 days behind. But she has a smell, very light/mild. Temps and RH recorded today: 29c - 20c 88% - 41% Pests and plagues: Nothing to record, just took all out of the grow and cleaned the floor with a proper disinfectant I have home, and washed all plates from the pots, as I do every week. Day 37 12/6 - General: Accentuated growth of pistils overnight. She's growing steady and healthy, looks happy in the given conditions. With this warm days, I'm struggling again with higher temps and low RH. Even with an humidifier using 7 liters of water every 24h, the light 3/4 from the top of the tent, the extractor on - regulated for 25c max and full on.. I hope it doesn't get any worse s if this levels keeps or lowers, I'll definitely have problems in the grow. Techniques: Another few leaves were gone. She really likes to grow leaves and can't imagine her without lst and defoliation. Feeding: Gave her the week 5 schedule, according to biobizz schedule. Tomorrow will do the same and maybe from monday will start going over, depending on her response. Smell: With the development of all the pistils, she gained a new aroma. Regarding the heating and RH problems, after a full morning and afternoon working inside the grow and outside, they're finally solved now. I didn't have the thermo-hygrometer in the right place, and made some adjustments in the setup that brought me back to desired values. Having the fans in the right place and speed and the same with extractor made all difference. Techniques: Another few leaves were gone. A handful. Move all the the plant around a little, to get more light and air around. Feeding: Gave her the week 6 schedule, according to biobizz schedule. Tomorrow will do the same and maybe from monday will start going over, depending on her response. Smell: With the development of all the pistils, she gained a new aroma. Very pleasant but still very 'green'. #3 still ahead on smell Temps and RH recorded today: 30c - 18c 63% - 28% Pests and plagues: Nothing to record. Day 39 14/6 - General: Good general growth. Going to stop with the training, to let them go up. It's getting tight in there. Pistils are whiter and longer, lots of new foliage. On the temperatures, still not happy with overall temps, that can easily go up to 30c. And that's way too much. Happy with RH values at the moment, but not so much with temps. Start to think I have a nice couple plants to make a SCRoG, and will eventually consider it during the week, while the plant grows. May be a nice way to support the weight if needed. Techniques: Bent the tallest arms around, like an arch, to even it out. More foliage removed. I feel I could just strip off her fan leaves. It's dangerously addictive to cut this leaves and to try to make the best light-surface possible. Feeding: Reacting well to the nutes given so far. I've increased slowly the amounts, to avoid overfeeding and other related problems. Gave her the "week 6 biobizz schedule", with a 1ml/L extra of Top-Max. Tomorrow will do the same and maybe from Wednesday/Thursday will start going over, depending on her response. Smell: Nothing new since yesterday. Temps and RH recorded today: 30c - 18c 87% - 30% Pests and plagues: Nothing to record. Day 40 15/6 - General: She's getting taller. Today didn't touch the plant at all, been just around the tent trying still to get the perfect environment, which is not being that easy task to accomplish. Got it going very well, steady temp and RH (25 celsius, 45%) until the afternoon when the high temperatures outside thrown the temperature values to the 30c for some minutes. She looks healthy, developing properly, and seems to react well to higher dosages of nutes. Techniques: Just checked everything out. Nothing done in this area. Feeding: The medium looks good enough to skip a day on the feeding. The pot feels heavy enough to wait at least 12+ hours. Smell: With the increase of the heat and RH going down, the smell got a bit more intense, but again, still all very light on the nose right now. Still behind #3 Temps and RH recorded today: 30c - 19c 71% - 36% Pests and plagues: Nothing to record. Day 41 16/6 - General: Pistils are growing evidently. The whole plant under the light looks very well. After 48h without watering, today was time to feed her again. Funny was expecting to be drinking more than a liter a day. It's the second day I don't touch the plants, and will keep this way until tomorrow, last day of this week. Techniques: Just checked everything out. Nothing done in this area. Feeding: Week 7 Biobizz Feeding schedule (as above). Smell: Nothing new to add. Still behind #3 Temps and RH recorded today: 29c - 21c 60% - 38% Pests and plagues: Nothing to record. Day 42 17/6 - General: Another day without touching her. I'll let her do her thing for a week and then I'll see what to do. Right now she looks so nice I won't touch. Overall she's getting bigger and pistils are getting bigger by the day, it's full flowering now. Finally get a hold on temps and RH, which makes me super happy. Today I'll delay the feeding for 12h, fastening her for 36h. Techniques: Just checked everything out. Nothing done in this area. Feeding: Nothing to record. Week 9 of Flower and the Punchberry Cookies Rbx just about ripe at 63 days of flower today (5/12). I've never had to time a DWC bucket flush before, so going purely on instinct. Specifically, Trichomes are mostly milky with amber development. I am hoping a 3-5 day flush with ph'd RO water will bring out any potential color AND that Trichomes will continue to ripen bringing amber to about 15-20%. As for the week in review, I'd say pretty uneventful, which is good. Continued daily water and ppm level drops with stable ph range readings - zero wild swings. She's kicking up some incredibly strong smells of fruit. She's frosty and does smell a bit like Hawaiian Punch as advertised. Looking forward to completing the DWC bucket flush and harvesting the girl. She and I got off to a rocky start. Fortunate that she recovered and produced the way she did. Next couple of posts (i.e., Harvest & Cure) will end this spring 23 run.

420FASTBUDS FBT2107 WEEK 6 These two beautiful ladies are growing great. Staying on the shorter side but very bushy and healthy from the looks of it. It's been super cold so they have hung in there when temps have dropped lower than I would've liked. Fixed the issue by adding an oil heater in the tent so far so good. Only have snow in the forcast for the next week or so then it should warm back up a little. Kept the same feeding they've responded well to it. All in all Happy Growing

All pH 6.16 Temps getting high so ordered an omega cool wing for hps, will I will install it soon as it arrives.
