~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🤯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 5/23- Week three from seed and the second week of veg for the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod and she's doing surprisingly well considering the crappy weather, and being eaten like a salad by slugs and a rabbit! 5/25- The diatomaceous earth that I spread around her seems to have lessened the attacks on her leaves. I've also been spraying her down every other day with Neem Oil, and every three days with an organic insecticidal soap that I'm sure has helped as well. I watered the Papaya Sherbet today via garden hose and began to train her branches a bit as well. 5/27- The FastBuds Papaya Sherbet continues to do exceptionally well with great color and vigor, putting out new growth it seems daily. 5/29- There's three weeks on the books for this little lady and I'm looking forward to see what she'll look like in the coming weeks! I will have to top dress her soon, probably in the next few days. I haven't added any dry amendments to her since I initially amended her soil and she's a hungry girl... Ciao a tutti, il giorno 65 ho sostituito tutta la soluzione dei vasi. Dopo aver tirato via tutto ho aggiunto 20 litri d'acqua di rubinetto con 2ml/l di flora kleen (GHE). Non ho aggiustato il pH (che nella mia zona è superiore al 7.5 per l'acqua di rubinetto) tanto non ci sono sali disciolti da assorbire. Tra pochi giorni ci sarà la raccolta, sarà un'impresa pulire tutte quelle cime... PS le foto scattate il giorno 66 sono state fatte con un altro telefono

PK boost was added for this week as lower fans were starting to show serious PK deficiency. Defoliated about 25% of each plant, basically the lower fans/growth that was not getting light. Added some CFLs in a tent dark spot

Day 29 - 01/12/19 in the last two weeks this plant has just exploded. very tall and very bushy! i had to bend the fan leaves out of the way so the preflowers could reach the light. Light floral/diesel smell coming from the plant. should be going into flowering next week :) Ive stopped using vitalink plantstart for feeding as our plant is established. I will now be using Canna A Canna B, Canna Rhizotonic and Vitalink Calmag. I have also been doing LST since last week to keep a more flat top round body shape to the plant :) hopefully this will force the plant to stay small but grow big buds! Same Day Update: watered the plants just now and i got frustrated looking at the diesel auto trying to keep the fan leaves above everything else haha. i said no and LSTd it hard! all the flowering growth now has great light coverage and i added a few photos in at the end too. From the photos you can see my Quick One plant from my other diary. on this plant all the colas are pretty even in height except from the main cola. this time im going to try and improve my technique on the diesel plant and try to get all colas at the same height :) Happy Growing and check out my other diaries!

5-24-20: Lower leafs are falling off from lack of light. Almost panicked and doused her with nutrients but thought twice. Remembered what happened last time with last plant, and results were N burn. Shes looking nice and healthy overall. Good covering of trichomes and only small bump was a calcium deficiency that showed in about 4 or 5 leafs. Disappeared as fast as i noticed it and didnt take any action because no other leafs were affected and havent noticed a change since.

They’re looking extremely healthy..gave em their first nute feed with the last watering seem to be doing fairly well..fimmed the GG and LST. Did not touch the unkown as it looks smaller to be the same age. Running GHE base line with few extra supplements. ****UPDATE**** Both are LST’d..might rethink the way I tie them. Going for a “coil” type look, we’ll see though. They’re looking great! Hoping for females!

Pow pow and welcome in Week14 - official Week8 of bloom 😃 There is no much changes from last week apart from buds getting more dense with pistils changing colour to orange all over. Skywalker is absolutely full of knuckles or “good foxtails” as some of you will say. LemonWalker bending as mad due to bud weight 😍 At this stage both girls are in flush mode getting nothing but plain water. Pinched small stem from each of them to run some pre-test...couldn’t resist haha. Sounds like another great strain to grow, 27% T.H.C., up to 600 grams per square metre, 70% indica & around 7 weeks of flowering. Plan is to mainline her currently week 2 day 9 of veg, started her straight into rock wool & sprouted in a few days. Started her on nutrients after a few days at 0.75ml per litre & increased to 2ml per litre start of week 2 & planted into final home, 15 litre pro pot going great.

DAY 77: LAST WEEK :D So because it is probably the last week i got some BEAUTIFUL pictures! I made some pictures with white lights, with flash and with the flower lights on. The results are just... DAMN! She is doing great and as planned. She is using all her nutes and het leaves are fading out. I might have started the proces to soon because not all the trichomes have turned brown so she will probably be more sativa. Im so proud of myself, I'm really impressed how big and beautiful she turned out. What do you guys think?

Week 8, the last feed! Defoliated to let more air flow and light penetrate down into the lowers of the plant. Bud's are smaller than i expected at this stage, but they'rr sticky, plant is covered in frost, the pics don't do it justice.

Update; February 14th, 2023. From the moment I flipped to flower, they’ve been exploding with growth! They are super healthy! They grow back and fill in so fast after defoliating, no matter how heavy I go. I’ve added the supplemental lighting (Viparspectra 600) this week to really get the most I can. Figuring out a way to mount it higher.

WEEK 7 - Day 51 - 05/21/20 Rickey Cricket is thriving in his little garbage can grow! 😵 The training has allowed the lower branches to reach up during the flower stretch and should get a fat little stocky bud-ball of a plant out of it. With the small amount of soil I can tell it's going to be a quick drinker. Nice and open now and need it for the small space of the grow. End of week 4 and all is going well, had a slight calcium issue on a couple of leaves, but it was corrected and all is good again. These girls are responding well to the nutes, but my run-off is getting a little high, that should change when I cut out the Flora Micro and just feed calmag, Dnectar and KoolBoom for the next couple of weeks. Any comments or suggestions? Wish me luck.... just a few weeks to harvest now.

Another week closer.... These girls have been a pleasure to grow so far they love everything you can give them ...no deficiencies no problems.....earlier in the week a slight tip burn but after 2 days they adjusted and ask for more.....as they are eating up the nutrients I am replacing and upping it each time...pushing these girls and they are showing there love....17 days since I switched the light and they are filling in nicely.
