The Apple Betty babies have gone through a lot this week 😬After a couple of days of LST, I let them recover for a few days. Once they were looking perky again, I decided to top all three. Day 31 - topped the girls after some deliberation. I had been undecided, ultimately figured that it was best for my situation, whether or not I decide to use my DIY scrog screen. For those unsure of when to top, 5 nodes or true leaf sets seems to work for me. Find the shoot at the very top, make sure it’s got some small shoots on either side started, and snip! It’s that easy. Topping will disrupt the hormones being distributed through the plant instead of the top, and force your plants energy and growth to the lower branches. Not to mention you will now have two main tops growing instead of one 😎 Give the plants some time to recover before doing anything major again, and you should he able to see your plants get bushier instead of taller. Once they were topped I bent and worked all the stems and branches between my fingers making sure to get all of them. As you can tell from the main stalk, the twisting and bending works, she thicc already! I also put their wire ties back on and bent all three over as far as I could get them to go comfortably before feeling like they would snap. This was a lot of stress for these girls, but they have shown they have a great stress response, and recover quickly. Vamos al lío , las 3 plantas salieron con éxito se colocaron en macetas de 0.6 litros y asomaron 3. El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 22/24 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%, esta semana seguro trasplantó a maceta definitiva que son 7 litros exactamente. The plants are now growing slower in height and start to develop real flower clusters at all tops. Both Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants are bushy with lots of budding sites, but plant#2 is now 15 cm taller than plant #1, which is a little more bushy than #2. Both plants are healthy and still enjoy the normal recommended feeding schedule from Advanced Nutrients.

Hi Growmies, The buds are slowly stopping to stretch on this one. She was defoliated quite a bit as I was worried about aircirculation on her side of the box, another aspect speaking for a scrog in this box. Next week she will get some PK 13/14 to real kick off the fattening and ripening stage.

Dealt with pm issue why I havent posted. Its gone. Fed compost tea, fpj, and foop. Also hit her with some mykos. Im already getting iny head when I want to begin amemding this for rhe next round

Week 9 was good .. Forbidden Runtz is getting ticker .she is taking longer than expected. No sign of amber yet. The thricomes are getting milky.. hopefully she finished in the next few days.

If you've followed me for a while you will know how proud I am of my first photo grow. Now this strain was gifted to me and I'm super happy with them. They've been strong, had to move them twice in 24 hours and still seemed happy. Would of really liked to keep a cut of pheno 3 as that looks a good yielder and smells lovely. I've not weighed it as its pointless wet and untrimmed. Anything over 5-6oz I'll be happy 🤷‍♂️🏼🤣 will be back to update in 10 days 🤞🏻✌️🏻

The pound cake auto is really taking off. I’m happy I didn’t top the plant and just let it do its thing. It’s gonna have big long bugs all over the whole plant is just gonna be nugs. Not sure what I did with this plant but I got the roots perfect this time and it’s showing it the growth of the plant

09/29/2020 Washing off all the nasty dust, pollen,and such that has accumulated over her long veg and flower period. She is 72.1 grams wet I guess she should dry out to around 18-22 grams. Which is fine as this was a tester to see if I will do again. I am keeping a clone till I grow a few dozen more seeds, to see different phenotype/genotype. It will take some time but I am hunting for a UNICORN before I will stop! 🙏 lol Good candidate for a grafting project Will update the rest of the report in a couple weeks to let dry out and cure some before testing. I chose this strain because it is said to not make me hungry and no red eyes but I will let you know soon.🙏 10/07/2020 She's dry and jarred up final weight 21.2 grams. Smell of hay and sugar should improve over next couple weeks. Preliminary smoke report, very smooth not much taste but feel it right away soon after first hit last 3.5 hrs. So just waiting on the cure for full flavor report.
