MY WEED SMELLS LIKE WEED. Filling the room, creeping through the apt, what a glorious time. No major smell worries where I am so I'm just enjoying the atmosphere. 😍 On to Backbuilding/Bud Tipping. (Shoot me any advice on this down below!) I experimented back mid-week with 3 tipped buds that had similar control buds side-by-side. After 4 days there is a noticeable difference in density and bud structure in the 3 tipped buds compared to the very fluffy and softer buds next to them. No overall size difference but the tipped buds are rock hard and filling in gaps down the cola compared to the untipped buds. A light squeeze on both a tipped bud and untipped will tell you the difference right there. Happy with the results after seeing them for myself and lucky enough to find this technique at the end of week 4, I tipped majority of the main colas on Danny and some larger buds on Arnold today. Which means I also get what OG growers call a "First Taste" once my tips dry out and cure for a few days. 😛 Other than tipping, I've just had to keep up with Arnold's feedings since lower leaves are still fading if I skip mineral nute feedings. Looks like they will be getting only PH Perfect and/or Molasses feedings until the final flush since they can't get enough food in the ProMix medium. I've still had constant defoliation during to avoid leaf overlap and light blockage. Since I'm now entering week 5 of flower I'll have to get it where I want in the next couple days and go hands off for the last month or so. Thanks for checking out my grow! Arnold still super hungry so I've upped the nutes a tad and skipped plain water feeding until the flush. Just fed them PH Perfect/Molasses cocktail. Big Arnold on the right is definitely rootbound by how the water is draining so I'm looking at a lower yield from the right plant. I get run off from small Danny during a regular feed but takes a lot more to get any from Arnold and I don't want to overwater in this random heat/humidity wave. The Backbuilding/BudTipping is working like a charm. The tipped buds are filling down and way more dense than the untipped. Popped the SoundLink in the tent today to give the twins some music while I go about my business. Day 15 Update : Decided to grab a tape measure to check canopy heights on a whim and discovered that my light was hanging 35 inches from “Cellie” Cereal and Milk . Wowzers 👀! So I raised the plant to be 26 inches from the light that I also dimmed down to about 40% . It works out that I can try to get the most out of the end of flower stretch for the older gal who shall no more than be mentioned for reference to accentuate the great glorious glamorous “Cellie”. The humidity plummeted after I did a major defoliation of the older gals so I adjusted the airflow rate of the lower in-line fan and the upper inline exhaust fan with the carbon filter . I lowered them both to the lowest setting & the humidity returned to “normal” Let me explain my reasonings/thinking behind my adjustments which are experimental at BEST. It’s worth also mentioning without having to preset a single thing on my 70pint Dehumidifier located inside this tent it is legitimately only plugged into my PRESET humidistat controller which is set to 50%-46% RH WITH an alarm on highs of 55% and lows of 43% . In real life what this translates to is when this humidity controller triggers the dehumidifier ON @50%RH immediately the fan of the Dehumidifier begins running. However this does not help the rising humidity that is occurring (it will reach 55%-60.2%RH ). Given a fixed amount of time , the condenser(atleast what it sounds like . .again, it could be anything) turns on . It is when this “condenser” “sounding” component begins working that the humidity IMMEDIATELY plummets down to my low point of 46% So to make a long story short the humidity gets vacuumed to 46%RH & the dehumidifier turns off, bc of the PURPOSEFUL EXPERIMENTAL TWEAKING making all air exchange fans low leveled the humidity slowly but steadily rises to 50%RH then the dehumidifier is triggered on but only the fans initially and the humidity eventually reaches 55%RH-60.2%RH & then the humidity gets all its hair snatched out by the dehumidifier and drops back down to 46%RH. 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 with all that said of anybody was even interested per my tents leaf canopy height temperature average good to great OR LITE GREEN TO DARK GREEN VPD for my temperature begins @ 60 & ends @ 52 which is kind of a perfect storm for OUR GIRL “CELLIE” oooooooorrrrrrrrrrr sssssssoooooo I think/hope . She still hasn’t needed watering since being transplanted, she should now ready and willing to stretch those toes and we need the opportunities to top water that soil a few times to make those dry amendments available to her . More pics of later the week coming as we go . . Hopefully . Diligence is a practice Day #17: giving her some water today, no specific amount just until she feels the right amount of “heavy”. She was given 3 different batches of water once ph’d to 6.3 once ph’d to 6.7 one ph’d to 6.5. She’s grown an inch in 2 days. Also swapped out the smart hygrometer system to a different brand . So far it has all the capability I was looking for but I need to run 2 more experiments to know for certain it lives up to my needs and its price tag 😁 Day 18 Update: she grew an inch taller nice 👍 The smart hygrometer system has reported/experience Bluetooth failures twice already(although I don’t know exactly what that means considering I purchased this for it’s Wifi capabilities ) I didn’t think to check it whilst I was away so I cannot yet say If it meets my final expectation/need I bought a soil ph meter & it indicates “my mix” is at 3.1 ph 👀 hmm 🤔 I’m wondering if this is a must fix or can I get by .eventually she will be transplanted and at that time I can use my new digital soil ph probe to construct her new blend moving forward but I am curious is I mixed another batch at 3 something ph would it matter ? In the beginning I wasn’t ph’ing any of my watering just because I assumed my soil mixture was highly acidic because of the 70ish pecernr peat moss base . I also assumed that it would be acid fixing for the water I put in it and therefore wouldn’t need to ph it and I did just fine just giving plain old tap water when thirsty until I experience VPD issues & in an effort to pinpoint what my exact issue was and how to fix it I of course eliminated all the variables and dialed in on my ph of my feed water and now my soil so it leaves me wondering does the soil need to be relatively 6.1 ph or is the 3.1 I’m flying at alright also . I checked the other 3 currently in here getting through flower & two of them are in the 3’s for ph & one of them is 6.2(the largest of them all) how ever she was the largest of them all always and oddly enough I mixed one big batch for them and transplanted them at the same time so I get two of them having the same ph as “Cellie” but the other that is in ph heaven is an oddball Should I top her here or supercrop later hmm I need to decide my vision for this thing Day 19 Update: ponytailed her youngest internode for about 16hrs she aggressively popped out of it twice ! It didn’t even work for 24hrs when I try it again it’ll be before the internode is so strong . Also rigged up a 16in oscillating wall-fan that currently being held with 2 zip ties , 2 rubber bands , & a smidget of duct tape and MAJORITY OF FAITH keeping it in place . The biggest plus to my added circulation is that I got the 16in fan for ! A win is a win . Pics uploads will be held for the next 3 days until the end of week 3 upload . Drop a thumbs up Day 20 Update : THE FAN FELL! But no one was damaged or injured . I re-rigged it . This time with duct tape , 3 popsicle sticks , 2 heavy duty zip ties & 1 regular strength zip tie . SHES SOLID NOW 😂 I did some solid rigging this time & have videoed my handy work . Also I forgot to turn my A/C back on before leaving the house so temps and humidity skyrocketed and swung for 9 hours until I got home . The temp in the tent was 84.4 and the humidity went from 42.4 to 57.5 to 42 every three mins. Day 21 Update : SHES A PRETTY GIRL. RQS says Cereal Milk is a slightly sativa dominant hybrid but the pheno of this particular seed seems to lean more towards indica I’m not mad at it ! I’m getting more stoked to see what she can do. She still hasn’t received any additional water since day #18.

This weekend she got pollinated by a Peanut Butter N' Chocolate Male.

Finaly she is looking and getting better. Becaue of my low humidity I had to spray her with water each time 15 min before the light when out. As you can see it helped allot. She is a tough lady and this genetics with the Plagron line is golden. I am almost ready the flip it to 12/12. I will do it this saturday. She only had water this week because the bat mix soil has enough nutes for her as you can see.😃 Also I dimmed my 250 watts to 175 watts and hang the light higher and what a change. After I flip it to 12/12 I will go back to 250 watts and after 3 weeks of flower i will 10% more. And I wil lower the light too. Lets hope she gets some nice colas.😅

June 24 - July 1 They just keep growing. No problems whatsoever with these plants. Topped off the soil. Started feeding it Fox Farm Grow Big/Big Bloom, alternating, .5 liters each, alternating. Huge height disparity between the three, even though they were grown identically. Plant A - 11" Plant B -22" Plant C - 17" Potentially giving one away (Plant C) to live in a garden, we will see what becomes of it.

Since the 4th day she started to grow at high speed, a bit more than a cm/day. She's really looking awesome, making some bold branches and defining every part of the plant very well. Some weeks ago I told that the smell went too strong at home, but it lowered to normal levels last week, now she's smelling more and more each day again ;). I can say about Alice.K, that I had 0 problems or weird things along the current 9 weeks, she suffered very high temperatures, some insects, and also i'm going hard with nutes, I'm cycling EC reaching 2 sometimes, and she didn't show any excess signs at time, I'm not telling that they're not going to exist on Alice, but not at time, if i see some, i will stop and re-adjust. A partir del cuarto día a empezado a crecer a gran velocidad, de momento más de 1 cm al día. De verdad que se ve maravillosa, está engordando bien las ramas y definiendo su partes muy bien. Hace algunas semanas comenté que ya estaba apestando toda mi casa y aún estaba en crecimiento. El olor fue disminuyendo hasta niveles normales y esta semana de nuevo está volviendo a incrementar su olor día a día. De momento debo remarcar que en 9 semanas de cultivo que van, la Alice.k me ha dado 0 problemas o cosas raras. Ha sufrido de altas temperaturas, algunos insectos y he empezado a ir fuerte con los nutrientes. Estoy ciclando la EC en los riegos, sobrepasando los 2 en algunos casos, de momento no ha mostrado ningún signo de exceso. Con esto no quiero decir que no los vaya a mostrar si sigo así, pero de momento no lo ha hecho, si en algún momento empiezo a ver signos, ya frenaré y reajustaré. También es un planta fuerte y con capacidad de recuperación rápida, eso se puede observar en los vídeos perfectamente. How the time has flown by. She completes her flush this week and will start her dry, Sticky, smelly and buds are thick. Extremely happy with how she handled these last few weeks! Excited to taste her.

Cantaloupe haze needed a good flush brought runoff from 2000 ppm to 1100ppm will continue to monitor.

Week 5 - Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 82 during the day and 72 at night. It’s been creeping up and down for the past couple of weeks. I’m thinking of ordering a T8 Cloudline from AC to really suck that air out… I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop and wow, just wow. Already popping with some long stems and big heads! These girls just keep getting better and better. They are also really starting to show their pheno differences, and similarities. 3 of them have very similar terps, and slight variations, and one is distinct in both smell and look.

Blackberry Moonrocks is building some very interesting little buds. Last week plants were looking super healthy and responded very well to the second topping so I decided to flip the light schedule few days later. They already started stretching and the smell is noticeably enhanced.

July 26: Lemon Cream Kush is doing just fine. Nicely recovered from me breaking one of the two main stems several weeks ago. I managed to tape it and she recovered quite well but it delayed things a bit and left her a bit asymmetric. Did a fourth lazy compost tea, see video explaining how i do it without an air pump and using cheap ingredients like blackstrap molasses and Epsom salts. July 29: defoliated lower fan leaves and small lower bud sites. Aug 1: added another round of malted barley and Power Bloom because the cannabis plants are showing signs of P deficiency. Blue-ish leaves and reddish petioles on another plant should be fixed by the malt and Power Bloom.
