Wow, isn't this 1 dollar seed performing :P The force is strong in this one. If I had to complain, the buds have a lot of leaves, but hey, were not... What a joy to grow this strain, she is easy to grow and creates big buds, I hope she tastes like a Kush and we will be happy campers with this one. The lights were a bit too close to her, she really didn't enjoy that light and heat, so we raised them, and after that growth went exponential in the buds again. And this for two or three more weeks, depending on the trichomes which I like for a large part amber so add another week for this. I'm guessing 1st week of January that she can be harvested, we shall see! 1/28/24 - Day 83 - Here we are on day 83 and the trichomes are looking good. I bet one week, if not two weeks before I start to flush with water. There are some photos of the Trichomes a couple of weeks ago and then again today. 1/31/24 - Day 86 - The buds are starting to get FAT and grow outward. Tons of new buds coming from the buds. Sounds werid but the buds are growing buds now. The smell is out of this planet strong. Im looking forward to the next couple of weeks!

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. The size of the cola on this plant is wild. I did defoliate this week to get better air movement and more light to the buds. I'm excited to see the yield!

This was the ladies last week! I’ve been watching the tricomes, #1 is mostly cloudy with a touch of amber, # 2 could go just a bit longer as there are mostly cloudy with a few amber and some clear… but I have a schedule to keep to make tent space available. Fed the ladies straight ph’d water for 4 feeds, being sooooo hot they have been needing water every other day, which turned out perfect! Super happy with the smells so far, typical Kush with a very pleasing earthy aroma 🤤 Into my 2x4 AC infinity controlled tent for hopefully a 10 day slow dry @ 60% RH. It’s been so dang hot, temps in my basement with AC are still hovering around 72 degrees!

I can smell the frost on the leaves Its 100% the best strain ive ever smelled such fresh piney smell it comes straight from heaven 💚 She also didnt stretch too crazy I just defoliated her a bit around week 3 to expose buds and shes perfect. There is also purple in the flowers but its not vissible yet with the flash on I reccomend everyone to grow at least one of these , absolute art

Getting taller, getting bushier, very thirsty girls! Feeding nutrients every 2-3 days depending on moisture retention in the soil, follwed by flushing with ph balanced h2o every 2-3 days

We’re in Week 3 of the flowering phase, and let me tell you, the ladies are lookin’ fresh as hell right now. Everything's running smooth, no stress. The buds are starting to show up like diamonds in the rough, you know what I’m sayin’? The girls are growing like real queens, standing strong and firm, like they know they’re about to take over the spotlight soon. Nodes are tight, no stretchin’, everything stayin' solid like a real OG. Lights are on that 12/12 cycle, and the nutes are mixin’ in just right – no overfeedin’, no deficiencies, just smooth sailin’, bruh. Water game is on point too – pH is dialed in, no dry-out drama. Roots are doing their thing, and the ladies are sucking up that H2O like they’re thirsty in the desert. We’re usin‘ that clean and pure Osmosewasser. So far, everything’s rollin’ as planned. Last week for these 3 remaining Runtzz I flushed them 4 days ago with flawless finish they had 2 feeds of flawless so far 1 more and then we chop them on Tuesday. Will be doing 10-15 days drying in a 3x3. Looking very frosty all 3 of these now orange hairs all curled and looks like they have packed out really well! The smell when you open the tent is heaven!! Old school bud smells! The journey is nearly fully complete! 😎😎😎😎 Will post harvest pics of these 3 on the next update! 12/05/25 Last 3 have been chopped and are now drying 21/05/25 10 days later and still small popcorns not snapping off which is great, I reckon 2-3 more days and we can get these 3 trimmed and displayed! She really is starting to mature, weight on her buds is increasing. This week was a good recovery week, after this previous disaster at the beginning of the week. They took about 3 days to bounce back. I had to defoliate pretty heavily. You can't tell 4 days later that I did. I wanna avoid defoliating too often, as these poor buggers are already stressed. I think in about 3 days I will see if they stop growing in height, when they do... I will defoliate again. All for all, I'm pretty happy that they bounced back so well. I also have upped the EC a touch to 1.5 this week, and I'm only seeing the tiniest hint of tip burn. So I think they are at the max before it starts to really burn them. The rate they are drinking, its a struggle to keep the mix at 1.4.

03/20/2020 Week3 flower did light defoiliating and watering(plain water). I did notice some sweet citrus aroma just slightly orange but not to much, (tangie) is too citrusy to me, hope more blue berry hazy flavor comes out but I'm sure it will be great 03/22/2020 Top 1/2 inch soil is drying out quicker she be getting thirsty!
