We planted a second Jack Herer Auto from Quebec Cannabis Seeds in a 1 gallon pot as an experiment to see how it does compared to our jack herer auto in the 3 gallon pot. We wanted to see which plant would give us the best yield for the space available. This will help us decide how we want to do our next few rounds of grows and if we want a SOG or just have a few big plants in the tent.

Day 96, 15th of December 2020: Hi! A bit late I was on holiday I usually start the week with the first day but now with the last one. I just put a stick there was not necessarily but looks better with it... She is a haevy yielder girl.... the buds are thick so thick I am amazed.... This genetics is amazing as well.... All the structure is pretty much cool she is outstanding quality lady.... Solid... just grows nicely a bit strechy but nothing serious.... Almost done by Christmas she is. By the way I am going on holiday again and back on 28th of December so after harvest starts. She needs more time from now but it would not be an issue to be cut if needed. The 7th weeks starts with tomorrow 16th of December.... Only flushing and no more nutritient will be used. Soon full report comes. Lamp is the same 11 hours on and 13 off.... The last 4 days she will get 4 days darkness and only ventilation will be working no even more water ;)

Flush time!!!!!! Starting flush EC was 9.6 I’ve been flushing for 1 week and will go at least another full week. All the trichromes are cloudy with very little amber. This seems to be the hardest part of the grow for me…timing the flush with trichrome color. I’m ok with a little more amber than cloudy tho, so it will work out. So I’ll flush the plants once at the beginning of the flush period, to the point where there is gallons of runoff. Then I’ll feed like normal with zero runoff for the next full week. Gotta let the plants eat the nutrients in the substrate not just wash them out. This is the final week, they are going to be chopped coming week. Already had some darkness and they are very very smelly. I am amazed at this strain's resilience. It had to deal with my noobishness with autos, heat, very hot soil and less PH buffering with my own super soil recipe (see the yellow image in the germination page) in the smaller bags. Still, they became huge and full of bud. Forbidden Runtz is an amazing strain. Very strong growth but also with most auto's I've grown: once the grow derails, it seldom recovers. But these do. I'm sure next grows I'm going to get even more out of them. Can't wait to try them again with what I've learned now. And you should all consider the SP-3000 as a growlight, look at my results! Beautiful growth on the plant without nutrients for now. Added a top soil using my new soil and it is packing with amendments and nutrients, so for now will depend on that. Maybe in about a week or 2 will start a nutrient feeding. But overall happy with the growth, and still hoping it’s a female. Just did a fimming for today (10 December 2021). Let’s see how it goes!

Here we are at day 54 and this girl is awesome she is such a small pretty little thing I'm probably only going to get about an ounce and a half off of her but that's okay because she smells really good.. Sensible Seeds big shout out to you guys if anyone is looking for bulk seeds they are your place as almost any breeder you can think of.. this has been an extremely easy girl from the beginning to now all I do is silica one watering then I'll hit her with recharge and then I'll top dress I'm thinking one more top dress and nothing but water from here on out maybe one more hit a recharge in a week and a half.. this is my first organic grow so I don't know if I'm doing this right as far as timing but it's all part of The learning experience.. Hello Diary! The third week of vegetation and Green Gelato enters the pre-flowering phase 💪. It can already be seen that she lags far behind her Hulkberry roommates in terms of height, so I will have to lift her closer to the light soon😬. Due to the high summer temperatures, the temperature in the box is also high😓. As I mentioned earlier, my small farm is located in a small room in the kitchen so it’s hard for me to keep the heat out of the space. But given the LED light, great MIGRO, that doesn’t produce too much heat, everything is still within acceptable limits😀. Humidity is also good, given the third (last) week of vegetation and ranges around 55-60%. The distance between the branches is also significantly smaller than in the Hulkberries, so the branches are much denser and with much more leaves. Green Gelato develops more in width than in height. Due to the higher temperature, she didn't drink as much water as I expected. I don’t have some default watering schedule, I give them water when I see the pot is lighter and the surface is dry. All in all I am very pleased with how it is progressing, the plant looks satisfied and healthy. I still add Cal / Mag preventively at each watering, 1.5 ml / L. Also in the third week of vegetation she showed her gender. 06/07/2020. Day 18. Watering. I prepare 7-8 liters of water, I think this is the optimal amount for watering all three plants in the box. I added BioBizz as scheduled for the last week of vegetation, Bio-Heaven, Fish-Mix and Acti-Vera 2ml / L each. P. H. I regulate with Plagron, Lemon Kick. 09/07/2020. Day 21. Photographing and measuring plant height. After taking regular photos in the box, I take a few more photos on a black background. Vegetation is over, starting tomorrow I will change the light regime to 20 hours of light and 4 hours of darkness. Given the temperatures, I will put it dark in the middle of the day when the outside temperature is also the highest, I hope that in this way I will prevent the temperature from rising to an undesirable height. After seeing the roots just about fill the totes, I decided to flip to flower. I did some lollipopping towards the end of last week, and removed a lot of larfy little branches. I added some big bud on top of my base nutrients, because Ive had good results with that. Im going to maintain a 10-12" light distance, and increase my light from 80% to 100% power after the stretch is over. You guys, I cant believe how heavily these girls are feeding, ppms were set to 1450ppm last night, 1300 this morning, 950 this afternoon. I added more big bud to up the pk a bit, and get my ppms back where they were. I cant wait for them to really hit stretch, I think theyre going to explode in the next few days!
