📆 Week 4, 12-18 May 2024 12 May - Upgraded light to ViparSpectra XS1500Pro. 13-14 May - Observed the plant. 15 May - Plant shows first pistils. 16-18 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 It was time to upgrade my light and it was an easy choice to stay with ViparSpectra. In my opinion, for small tents and the home grower they are the brightest lights available on the market. The only problem with the *2024 new versions are the dimmer switches. They limit how you can adjust the power: 5, 25, 50, 75 and 100% are the only settings, nothing in between. If you are trying to “dial” in your DLI/PPFD it makes it impossible without adjusting light height, which is quite cumbersome comparatively. Your forced to work around an issue which should have never been one! The plant is showing its first pistils this week. This doesn’t mean its in flower. There is no bud formation yet, she is just letting you know she is female. It could be another 2-3 weeks or longer before buds start developing. Bushy little mama. Removed the tobacco plants as they were taking over the tent. She is on her lonesome now so she can make full use of the space available. Looking like she needs some defoliation pretty soon. 3/10 Gave her a radical defoliation. Took away about 85% of all the larger fan leaves and some lower canopy growth. I want all the plants energy to go into flowering and developing large kolas. Don't expect the auto clone to get much bigger, so won't be potting up, but she may produce a decent kola.

She has been transferred to the larger flower tent and now is on a 12/12 light cycle. It is her with 3 other girls in a greenhouser 60"x32"x80"all around the same maturity. She is now under the Sayon SH4000 at full tilt 410 watts from the wall. The light cycle was somewhat reversed, as I now have her lights off at day (6:30am) and on at night (6:30pm). Goal was to use the electric at non prime hours and be able to tend to them between work hours. So going into flower for the first day, she had a longer light period prior to rolling her into the first light flip. I defoliated her towards the middle of the week, getting rid of all the damaged leaves from the veg mishaps. She is untrained and now enjoys a oscillating tower fan to help strengthen her stems & branching. She is nice and tall, and them fan leaves are luscious green and straight up pray to the sayhon sh4000....perking up before the light even cuts on. She is also introduced to Tps bloom at 2ml a gallon. She is doing great.

it's amazing, this growth looks much better than my first attempt, my decision was to put a smaller pot and change the light - the girl really liked it, FastBuds goriilla cookies with a small space manage perfectly:).

Hard to believe it's been another week. These beautiful girls are growing great. They're definitely swelling amazing especially at the top colas. Starting to see some faded leaves so I think I'll back down my nutes from 1050 to around 800. All in all Happy Growing

9/11 Wed. 12 am Raised lights and the watts. NYC is tall now even after topping. Looking really nice. 5 am lights up to 88W didn't raise the light any higher. 330 pm Got some nice shots of NYC, She is getting tall so I may top her twice and keep the bottom 4 colas, not sure yet. 9/12 12 am good. 2 am light up to 93W and raised 3 clicks. 93 at 8 to 14 inches for the shorter plants should be enough power. 2pm. Spent 6 hours putting in extra dirt and perlite and cut NYC in half!!! She's too tall for this grown, but Im sure I can still do just great with 4 colas well trimmed!! 9/12 11 pm. They are doing good NYC is growing good after 2nd topping. GOAT is doing great. 9/13 12am Cutting NYC in half yesterday worked!!!! She's doing great. GOAT is great too 9/13 12 am. Moved 3 plants that were small into their own tent. 2:30am They are doing better in the new tent with more space. 9/14 4 am.I used 1 gram of Maxibloom Powder and .6ml of purpinator yesterday will keep the mix for a few days 9/15 Looking good light up to 95. Got some nice pics of GOAT forming flowers, her leaves have a peach color the microscope pics are good. had to get a new one.

Well, week 11 has started today 8/15. So blessed to have gotten this far! I'll be flipping the lights tomorrow to begin to start flowering. I have both my tents linked up so I don't have to run two separate exhausts! Now that the stress part is over time to sit, enjoy some puffs and continue focusing my energy! So I'm gonna get some green lights! I have an awesome app on my phone called Hydroponics Green Screen Light, it's in the app store for free. Developer in Timothy Johns. It works great but not enough for me. But it is great if you need to go in during the dark cycle for whatever reason. Or you can get yourself a lamp and a green grow room bulb!
