High GD community, Week 9, Sweet Thai looking allready better then ĺast week. The topping start to grow gently and a full 13cm in height gained this week. Since 3 days(friday), the lightcycle changed into 13/11. Nonetheless spidermites are spotted on this lady, she doesnt back down. After a treathment with orio bugs, who i actually misordered because I didnt had my new microscope yet, trips are definitly gone, and orios do eat/attack spidermites, its not their favorite. So a second army of bugs, this time phyto mytes, its gonna be all about attack and digesting spidermites, Who didnt yet get crowdy so far. But after a check up of some leafs with the new microscope, i can see a lot of eggs and pretty active young spidermites. So the phytos will not come to early. Phytos do eat eggs as orios dont, so thats a big difference. I had to succumb to the Apricot Auto,,dwarfing on me,,due to me probably being a bit heavy handed earlier on and snapping her leader,,,which caused her to dwarf and flower way too early,,,so she went outside

I was flushing all the plants since August 9. You can see in the videos with de microscope ( I really try my best, but it was pretty difficult) the trichomes looks cloudy and some of them looks amber. Maybe in the videos you can't see it because my hand was really shaky. August 17: all the plants were in dark. August 18: i cleaned all the plants, buds, leafs, everything..., spraying water to remove the rests of potasic soap. Today august 18, during the nigth, i'm going to harvest all the ladies. In the past 3 days i didn't watering the plants and the smell was stronger. August 19: Before dry -Critical Kush: 150g -Red dwarf: 60g -Syrup (2 plants): 270g -Lemon (4 plants): 570g

Bien aquí esta el día esperado la cosecha, es mi primer cultivo y considero que lo logre. En muchos medios de lectura y en especial en vídeos mencionan que no puedes esperar mucho es tu primer cultivo. En mi caso es falso y lo demuestro ya que si aprendes, investigas por cuenta y lees lo suficiente, obtendrás un alto porcentaje de que los resultados se den. Muy contento con mi plantas y sus tonos morados. Puntos a mejorar tener una carpa de cultivo y por su puesto un extractor de humedad para que baje la humedad preferiblemente a 45 grados Vendrán mejores contenidos y cosechas mas abundantes. Getting closer! Weather here is finally starting to turn warm including and after this weekend. That means I’ll be taking Cream Caramel, Bubba’s Gift #1 & #2 and Black D.O.G. outside to be transplanted in 45 gallon pots. Bit of a crazy week after taking my loupe to my soil and spotting a LOT of bulb mites in my soil. Nematodes surprised me with their presence too. Explains the issues I have been having with Jack Herer in my other tent. Thankfully despite them both existing in this tent the plants are doing quite well. Just a little LST and defoliation this week. They’re doing well and I just want to leave them be until they’re outside or remain in the tent with more space. I can’t wait to tie down Bubba’s Gift #3, Chemdawg’91, The New and Black D.OG. Plan is to give them about a week more and then flip them to 12hrs. Still just watering with dechlorinated water. Top dressed with 4-4-4, worm castings and insect Frass. Before that a Soil Drench one day with Neem oil and Dr. Bronner’s Castile soap mixed into Mosquito Dunk water for pest control. My mycorrhizae shipment won’t be arriving until May 20th so even if the plants go up this weekend I will leave them in their existing pots until I return next weekend.

Well it's day 77 one looks ready and one looks like it could go a week or two but I dry in the same tent so if one goes down they both go down not sure what to do yet. But this will probably be the last post before harvest gonna give them a couple mare days I think. I got fast buds apple strudel seeds I'll be getting started as soon as this is done.

Nice slow week seen lots of growth and some really big fan leaves

On day 1 week 4 flower the girls are bulking up smelling great and some pistils are turning orange. The trichomes are still mostly clear with some milky trichomes starting. On day 3 one of my blumats had a runaway I believe from fertilizer sediment all I can do this late in the game is to lower the flow rate and hope that will solve the problem. It is strange that this is the same blumat that flooded when I went on vacation earlier on in the grow. I will inspect the blumat closer when I finish the grow. I tightened the carrot down 1.5 carrots. Except for the minor flood the girls are doing very well, even though they are too close to my grow lights :). On day 6 almost all the buds are starting to have a second growth spurt with some small white pistils showing, the trichome concentration is visibly growing and I expect to harvest the girls between week 8 and 9 of flower.

Finishing up!

Not much to say about this week. I still have not taken over ORGA Bloom which is my base and I will not do it until the end of the culture. We see that the resin is present and that the heads grow. I’m not going to leave it at that, so I’ll tell you what I’m going to do for week seven of flowering. So I do not take back my base but I keep my additives and I add two products to make my heads swell, Nirvana and Overdrive from Advanced Nutrients to the recommended dosages. I will also increase my watering volume to 6L of nutrient solution for 14L of substrate.

I was hoping to harvest this weekend as the days are getting colder. The trichomes arent't quite ready. So, I'm going to have to hold out another week. My garage is not heated. So, I have to plan my grows around the local weather despite growing in a tent. The Afghani has turned purple on the leaves that see the most light. Likely due to the drop in temperature at night. I have stopped feeding the plants. The EC has remained unchanged for the last week. There is no point in wasting nutrients if the plant won't eat.

This week been quite busy. I had to be very careful to my bending clips, because I had left them too long on some branches and they were very hard to take off without breaking everything. It was very stressy for everyone in this story...but i manager to limit the damages and took off all of them. The final result is not bad, i think they are having a good shape, even if it is still quite a job to maintain all those branches They are very strong, and making nice big leaves. I had to defoliate them, but i don't want to do it too much, not so easy to judge. They are now flowering and look healthy, will increase a bit their cocktail this next week. I've started to give them 4 hours of night time this week, will see if that got an effect. Feel free to let me know what u think about it.

Finally my weather is getting better! 🙌 and good day everyone! Both of my girls are maturing properly and I'm glad it wasn't extremely hot inside the tent, it'll help my babies to not stress too much. I also increased the amount of Silver PK 14/15 by another 0.5ml and the plants took it well! 😍 The plants (mostly Pistachio) is getting more yellow leaves (I'm constantly removing them) and that means my babies are getting close! 😃 So now I'm double checking the trichomes/pistils in my girls and thanks to that I can say the flowers in Pistachio are more developed than the ones in Matcha and I suppose that's because the lights are way too far from Matcha but I can try to fix that in the future. Day 42 Crazy it's already week 7, it goes so fast. Rocky has outgrown the other 2 by 7 cm I think. It's hard to measure because her head always shows into one direction, incredible how flexible she is. I have no fear any storm (the 50km/h winds show up daily) could hurt her despite a tornado. Day 43 All the girls are fit, still no leaf lost, bugs etc are down to a minimum. It's a fantastic grow for me and as it looks for them too😁 I want to give a shout out to the breeders, especially Barney's. All the auto varieties I had the pleasure to grow outdoors have performed very good and stable. While it wasn't one totally outstanding, but all on a high level, top consistency. And also Kannabia, I didnt know em, but they have a nice catalogue of genetics that are special, for example some midrange THC strains, which I personally love. More "natural" plants. The Kickass is beautiful with that ol skunky smell 😊 Day 44 Today I accidently poured half of the watering can into Zillas soil, I kind of stumbled and so she got her whole feeding at once 😊 She doesnt show an signs of overwatering. Springbrunnen is infected by mildew on the 5 lowest leaf. I will cut them, it's too much of a risk. All 3 girls get a H2O2 treat and some neem oil. Cut some lower leaves that are either infected or yellow & when they're easily removable. I don't like taking off leaves, it's just painful at least for me. Honestly a lot of that heavy defoliation, topping, you name it, feels like torture to me. I mean yes they can be advantageous in different scenarios but my purpose is to let her grow the way SHE wants to, I just want to assist so she can bring out more of her. Day 45 Only 2h sunlight on average the last 3 days, but we're fit. Did a sunset photo shooting with Rocky, tried to make it real art. Day 46 Bad weather, dark days. Checked for bugs and stuff after the neem oil treat, there's still a few but hey - it's outdoors. They leaves I rubbed with neem oil curled up now, they didn't like it! Day 47 Rocky still working on that storm resistance 😂 Dude she's so tall & thin, several times a day I'm thinking "okay let's move her inside" but they had it hard from the beginning so I keep it that way. Zilla bulked up massively. From my current perspective Rocky needs to speed up to hit that 25.06. new moon harvest day. Increasing fertilizer to 75% because the moon calender said it and I think it's the right timing according to the lifecircle.
