Decided to pull out the scrog and utilize more of the available room I had to let my plants get bigger. I am very happy with this decision and will be flowering within the next couple of days. 03.07. Girl Scout Cookies Day 69# Nothing special is happening, it's been 4 days since the last update, I was a little late last time, so here I am so I won't be late again. Tomorrow is the end of the tenth week for the plants, this morning I fed them, before that I gave them only water for 2 waterings, that is, they were in water for a whole week. It's hot right now and I'm watering them every 3 days, this morning they each got 30+ liters, anyway, except for the ones in smaller pots, they got a lot less.

Week is going good aside from me accidently cutting off a stem on pheno 2. If I can properly save the cutting though I might have a chance at another female. Pheno 3 I'm hoping can make some comeback as I really want to flower the plant, its not dead by any means but the way its growing I just cant see it allowing itself to flower the top leaves were barely growing so I topped. Hopefully positive changes within the next week.

d46 Todavía parece que se han secado un poco más, les ayudaré con un poco de aminoácidos para que mejoren, pero la que se ve más bien es LSD, después seguido de Mimosa Evo, seguido de Melon Gum y para terminar Meganuska que bueno es la que está más afectada también era la planta más joven por lo que esos días de diferencia, se notan en la madurez de la planta, LSD seguramente sea la ganadora y tenga mayor espacio para crecer durante esta temporada, también parece ser que es la que mejor resiste y mejor crece, también las hojas siempre hacia arriba, me gusta eso, que se vea que esta sana, le tengo grandes esperanzas. Rezaremos para que no venga el pulgón ya que ahora no están en las mejores condiciones, para que les ponga preventivos a las plantas, quiero que estén sanas, que puedan soportarlo y asimilar bien ya que les provoco un poco de stress. d47 Me preocupa que Mimosa Evo se ponga a floración, si eso pasa, haré poda apical y trasplante. Pero de todas formas la semana que viene toca trasplante, luego tendrán 1 mes para rellenar la maceta y otra vez trasplante... d49 no se han regado, en un par de dias se riega.

Hello. This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of flowering. I've stopped closing up the tent at nights now. The plants are so far along in flowering they won't turn back to veg, even with the neighbor's lights on. So I'm not in there twice a day now. So I was a little surprised to find spider mites. The grow was going so good I thought I missed the bugs this year. But they showed up. I bought a Hypochlorous Acid Generator last year last year early so I was prepared. I used it at full strength last year for spider mites and I got yellow leaves after a couple of weeks. I guess the leaves got a bit fried at full strength. So this year I'm trying it at 1/2 strength with a drop of dish soap to help choke those dam spider mites. It's a little pricey, but I'm hoping to get years of use out of it, to make up for the price. Everything else is going good in here. Started flushing yesterday with PH adjusted tap water. The tap water used to be at 6.5 ph for years, but the water counsel found out that 7.5 ph water is better for you. So I have to adjust it. It's 1 drop of ph down per gallon and it makes it 5.7 ph. water. It will be 2 weeks more of flushing and then harvest. With the Panty Punch male plant ... I've seeded 1 branch of each plant and I've pollenated 4 clones too. They are - The White, Amnesia Lemon, Critical OG and Pink Kush. I'll send you some free good regular seeds if you want to do a diary on them. I learn from your diaries so I can improve my breeding technics. So if you would like some free seeds, privet message me and we can chat about them. I send them in a Christmas card with an international stamp. It cost me about 3 dollars Canadian. I don't mind. 🌳 Week 13: Well, they're happy... almost too happy! The canopies are filling up again and getting incredibly dense down below. Especially with the squatter, Indica-leaning strains, I'm honestly getting concerned that they might be too dense, and cause mold issues. We do not want that! So, they all came out of the tent again and got their most aggressive cleanup yet. I took more bottom branches off and made more clones, and then also just cut out some other smaller branches, particularly ones that were growing back inward or in some cases even crossing over others. The differences between the indicas and sativas are starting to become more apparent as the plants stretch, and some of the sativas are almost 16" tall. I actually ended up topping a couple of the very tallest branches before they stretched any further, again in an effort to keep the top of the canopy as level as possible. I'm also experimenting with using some wire rings as inserts to spread out the top of the canopy, and pretty pleased with the initial results.

Not much to report this week, the trichomes are still milky. My feeling is that it will take another 2-3 weeks until they are ready to harvest. Until then, I will continue with the fertilizer scheme. The smell of both strains is very pleasantly fruity (citrus) and I continue to monitor the VPD value and temperatures. This time there are no pictures and only videos they show better the development, in the time lapse you can still see a growth in the flowers, slow but there is still growth.
