Week 5 Veg Report: SCROG Netting, Massive Leafs & Precise Data Mastery! 🌱 Girls Growing Stronger Than Ever! 🌱 This week has been truly epic in the grow room—so much so that it’s time to bring in the SCROG net! With the canopy expanding and the younger ones still working to catch up, the SCROG net will help me achieve that perfect, even canopy. A well-placed SCROG not only ensures better light penetration but also gives the smaller plants a chance to spread out and thrive alongside their bigger sisters. Now, let’s dive deep into the SCROG method. The Screen of Green (SCROG) technique is a grower’s secret weapon for maximizing space, light efficiency, and yields. The concept is simple but powerful—train the plants to grow horizontally along the net, forcing them to expose multiple budding sites instead of just a single cola. This way, the canopy spreads evenly, improving light distribution and air circulation throughout the tent. As the plants grow, I’ll gently weave their branches through the screen, ensuring they fill every square inch of space. The end goal? A sea of buds all basking in equal light! 💪 Huge Leafs Everywhere! 🌿 One thing that’s really catching my eye this week is the size of the leaves—they’re HUGE! These bad boys are connected directly to the AMP-3 Precision Meter, and they’ve been absolutely crucial in giving me the most accurate readings on my water and nutrient solution. The PCT-2 keeps me informed about the electrical conductivity and temperature of my solution, which is key for monitoring how well my plants are absorbing nutrients. Too high or too low, and we’re asking for trouble, but this sensor ensures I’m always in that perfect range. The PPH-2, on the other hand, is all about maintaining the perfect pH balance. A fluctuating pH can mean nutrient lockout or deficiencies, but thanks to this sensor, I get a constant read on my pH levels, so the plants are always in their sweet spot for optimal nutrient absorption. Another slow week. I increased light schedule to 13/11. I’m going to slowly lower the time of light until by the time harvest day comes it’ll have a longer dark period. I’m also going to stop feeding the bottle nutrients my soil is moist still so I gotta wait. I’m predicting a couple ounces this grow.

Girls got their first foliar spray! I've never done this before but got the equipment and bioinsecticide and moved forward. Really gotta prevent those damn mites and aphids. Not messing around anymore. This girl is getting flipped to flower now and I'll train as she grows to maximize the tent space. I don't want her growing out of the tent on this one. Hey guys! New week, here we are! As always, every Sunday is cleaning day. Took everything again from the tent, washed the saucers. Was also time to cut down some leaves as it was starting to look very bushy and hard for the light to get through it. During that time, came across with some bugs under the foliage, which isn't a great sign for sure. Not to mention the fruit flies that moved in and are making my life a little chaos. This was the strain most attacked by the flies, and those bugs that live under the leaves. Reducing now the RH a bit, and watering now on every 72h instead of 48h to keep the grow as dry as possible. Increasing the ventilator speed was another attempt, it so much air circulating should be hard for them to make a living inside. Just put now more of those fly traps and will add a couple glasses of cider vinegar here and there, as it attracts most of the flying things with success. Note that some plants are yellowing and that's never a good sign. Though for few weeks it was Nitrogen deficiency, but after increasing it and the CalMag values, the problem persists, so I'm inclined for something bug related. Besides that, temps are still very stable, RH was changed, now to 40% tops, and the light went a little lower to get it closer to the plants - always with the light burn effect in mind. 40cm is the line between the tops and the lamp. Flowering is looking good, buds are forming well and seems that's gonna be a good ending if I can keep the bugs under control. They're showing the first signs of flowering, so we decided to switch already the nutrients in the last feeding of the week. That's all folks, have a great week

today is day 126!!!! i only received so many photos, it seems that the biotabs nutrients are working great, i'm still on vacation so girl, i water it myself with the help of wifi, and a few times a week she comes to water it separately :) everything looks pretty nice:) good luck to everyone:)!

📆 Semana 7 Esta semana la Slapz ha seguido mostrando su potencia genética, consolidando su estructura de cogollos y aumentando considerablemente la producción de resina. Las flores ya están alcanzando ese aspecto compacto y pesado que tanto nos gusta, y cada día que pasa parece más prometedora. La capa de tricomas sigue expandiéndose y empieza a adquirir esos tonos blanquecinos y brillantes, cubriendo incluso las hojas más cercanas. El añadido de Sticky Fingers sigue marcando la diferencia, potenciando no solo la cantidad de resina sino también ese perfil aromático gaseoso y afrutado que ya empieza a llenar el cultivo. En cuanto a la nutrición, continuo con XpertNutrients sin modificaciones. La planta sigue respondiendo perfectamente, mostrando un crecimiento equilibrado y un desarrollo floral impresionante. La intensidad del aroma ha aumentado notablemente esta semana, haciendo evidente ese toque dulce y funky que caracteriza a la Slapz. El entorno sigue bajo control: temperaturas entre 22 y 25 °C, con una humedad ajustada al 50%. Los Adlite siguen desempeñándose de maravilla, lo que asegura cogollos consistentes y bien formados en toda la planta, incluso en las partes más bajas. La circulación de aire sigue evitando cualquier indicio de moho o problemas derivados de la humedad. Visualmente, la Slapz está empezando a tener ese aspecto imponente: una masa de cogollos densos, brillantes y cargados de potencia. La expectativa de cara a las próximas semanas sigue siendo muy alta, ya que la planta está mostrando todo su potencial. Seguimos creciendo fuerte!💪

Flushing

The temperatures, humidity, height, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil to be spread evenly on top of the soil. The plants are getting just under 13.5 hours of light now. In grow conditions half hours aren't an option, so I'm noting here. Day 1 we had a high temperature of 83° F with partly cloudy skies. I watered each pot about 5 gallons once. Day 2 we had a high temperature of 81°F. There was plenty of sun and I watered about 5 gallons per pot. Even though the girls are drinking more, the cool weather, and them rooting through the fabric pots into the soil, has kept me from watering twice a day. The girls cleaned up nice after the fungicide treatment. They look great. Day 3 we had a high temperature of 78°F. Skies were clear and sunny. I watered about 5 gallons per pot with well water. The air has been a little drier with this cool from and the girls are loving it. Day 4 we had a high temperature of 77°, clear sunny skies, and humidity at 66%. This weather is very fall like and the plants are loving it. We've got rain in the weekend forecast though. I hope we miss it. I added 100ml of feather meal top dressed they're getting a little hungry for nitrogen. Day 5 we had a high temperature of 77°. Skies were partly cloudy to mostly sunny. The humidity dropped into the 40%'s today. The plants are loving this weather. I watered about 5 gallons per pot from the well. The girls are getting their trichromes up. Day 6 we had a high temperature of 86°F. Skies were partly cloudy and we had just a few minutes of very lite rain. I watered about 5 gallons per pot with well water. Day 7 we had a high temperature of 85°. Skies were cloudy all day. We had a huge thunderstorm with high winds roll through followed by heavy rain most of the day. I added another 100 ml of feather meal top dressed to each pot. This week was a success. The girls have really swung into flower. Their trichromes are really starting to pop and these flowers are filling out. I'll treat again for powdery mildew tomorrow.

It’s designed to create the perfect microclimate for seed germination, and within just 24 hours, the seeds started showing signs of life. By the 32-hour mark, they were all ready to be transferred to the next stage!
