Hello Diary. At the end of the story, I am very happy with the whole cycle and finally the outcome. 😍 More or less all the information is in the diary, there are really a lot of photos that speak more than words. What I would point out at the end of this story, the Hulkberries were different. One was more developed in width and that eventually had a higher yield as well. He reached a height of 105cm, while the other was more developed in height and grew to 117cm. But the Hulkberry is a great sativa strain, I didn’t have any problems throughout the cycle, I didn’t do any training I just did a little defoliation twice. 👌 The branches were dried for 12 days after which they were finished in jars for another three weeks. In the end I would like to thank the Royal Queen Seeds for making this wonderful strain, Grow Diaries where I can learn, and share something I really love. Everything going well with this strain no problems and growth is very fast, they bounce back after any defoliation. Day 41 - Gave them a haircut today and a good Biosys tea feed till run of will leave now till start of next week Planning to add a drip irrigation feed system this week to make this a little easier. 🤞 Will update next Sunday now end of week 6 as will be busy adjusting and implementing the irrigation feed.

Had to cut. Open house through my apartment for 4 hours/day every day basically until it sells. I'm keeping them hanging in the window until the tours come through, then they go in a paper bag in a bin under my bed and I burn incense. It went ok today. I just used a microscope and they're both pretty early. This one has mostly cloudy trichomes with some clear and very few amber. The White Widow has a lot of white hairs that aren't even through growing, and the trichomes aren't really there as much either. Certainly not glowing white with resin. It's a shame I had to cut early but I think it will still be some good smoke as long as I can keep if from going mouldy.

Dramatic weather here, 2 violent storms have hitted my tent without mayor damages. I've bought a high density polyethylene film from farmer supplier, God blessed for this choice. Strong. But I've made a great mistake on Thursday because I was very busy cropping and curing Royal Gorilla that I've forget to water the sisters. I've watered them on Friday just before I started putting up the tent and the storm started with 90% humidity. It has become a tropical greenhouse, so to avoid mold disasters I drilled some side holes and raised the lower edge. Fortunately, on Saturday my little ones managed to dry themselves well thanks to a little sun and a dry wind. I've learned the lesson. Now that weather is a little bit better but colder I've realised that my plants now love to live under a greenhouse, flowering is accelerating. This plant does its own thing, she started flowering very late but is now doing it very quickly. Return my hatred for her with huge frosty buds and gorgeous colors. She has boundless vigor, I don't think it's possible to burn her with fertilizers. It is not a reliable plant for flowering times but if you have extra space in the garden it is the classic plant that can give surprises. It is difficult to describe the scent, very different from what one smells in general, not pineapple but tropical, herbaceous, sweet. Hope to harvest within 15 days. Very difficult to estimate the yeld because is a huge, tall and very leafy plant. After sister's crop she will gain much more room and light. P. S. 11/27 She’s not getting enough of the light. I’m working on another grow space so she can get more light penetration. Considering I let her stretch so much and not getting adequate light. She’s looking pretty good. Buds are already looking dense.

They’re fattening up a lot now, they all drink really slow but they’re still packing on and look happy. It feels like I’m gonna kill them because I’m only watering about once a week. Humidity is getting to be a problem. Getting a dehumidifier soon, if you have any recs lmk I’m still kinda lost. Too many options and I’m not sure any of them even work. I’m getting the first few whiffs here and there, smell’s starting and everything looks frosty. The oils smell like fresh fruit and cream, some have a cookie-ish rub to em. Every day I get more excited to see what they do in the end!

Day 77 (f15): The Runtz is stretching considerably more than the Kosher Dawg (which will need to be elevated - probably by putting planks under the dwc reservoir). Ran out of Plagron nutrients and couldn't find anymore! So I bought the only ones available at the hydro store 'hy-pro hydro A & B), these nutrients are much less concentrated and I already used up near to half a litre of nutrients on my reservoir change day (yesterday)! The yellow tips on the Runtz seem to be light stress, as during the res change the nutrient dosage was lowered and ph maintained between 5.7-6.1 and she shows she is hungry but the yellow tips got slightly worse to the light is 15cm higher now. Nice strong vegetative smell releases when I rub any part of the plants :D It is getting difficult to take pictures where you can actually see the size of the plants because the space is so packed! Can't wait to do the heavy defoliation after the stretch (in like 5-7 days from now)! Day 80 (f18) update: 10cm stretch since day 15, she is doing well! Internode distance is larger than I'm used to, but she also stretched more than I expected so I'll probably remove all the lower bud sites during the heavy defoliation. Light stress (or nute burn) symptoms barely progressed, I think putting the light from 35 to 55cm from the highest growth shoots helped. Since she is so bushy and definitely the biggest volume plant I have ever had I am very curious to see what she REALLY looks like after the defoliation!! Day 80 (f20) update (heavy defoliation): The stretch has slowed down and the buds have a slight fresh sweet citrus aroma, took 90 minutes to defoliate her and remove the 'sucker' branches and bud sites on the bottom 40% of the plant. Changed water reservoir to a mix with a bit of bloom booster (Plagron green sensation).

Not much to report this week, the trichomes are still milky. My feeling is that it will take another 2-3 weeks until they are ready to harvest. Until then, I will continue with the fertilizer scheme. The smell of both strains is very pleasantly fruity (citrus) and I continue to monitor the VPD value and temperatures. This time there are no pictures and only videos they show better the development, in the time lapse you can still see a growth in the flowers, slow but there is still growth.

7/4 - When I came into the tent this morning all the Jacks were praying! Even my little Struggling Jack (who is looking great). I have to believe it was the worms. I did nothing else. I watered all with Trinity and RO Water. JH2 has nearly completely recovered from her deficiencies. Her leaves look great. Very little sign of any of the previous damage. 7/6 - I'm amazed at how well JH2 is doing! I had to take a little video to show how well she has recovered. She has nearly no visible damage left to her leaves. She is very green and looks happy. The other two have completely recovered, but they were no where near as bad as JH2 was. I watered them today with just RO water, CalMag, and Extreme Serene as they will get fed tomorrow. I also did a foliar spray of the Extreme Serene on all. 7/9 - Watered with RO water and Molasses today. The Jack Herers look super healthy and happy, even the one that was struggling. I left one of the Jack o'natural. I didn't top her or do any real LST because she had some deficiencies at the time and I didn't want to stunt her even further. Now that she's healthy, it's too late. I'm flipping them to flower next week and that's just not enough time for her to recover. So, I thought I would leave her as is and see how she turns out in her natural, Xmas tree shape!

Week 14, day 99, the second week of flowering has started, and it shows on the plant. It looks like Cookies Gelato #1 has started flowering before #2 and #2 started before #3. Look at the photos from above, I cannot wait to see when flowers will be enormous and lots of them!! Of course there is no weed smell yet but the plants have a wonderful smell of mint and lime. I'm also still trying to LST the plants even if they are mature, just to get a bit more light. Approximately two more months and I'll be ready to harvest, I think the yield will be terrific. We harvested one of the Tropicana XL girls , this is going to be a weird entry because I decided to not make a harvest entry till the other one lady finishes. Unfortunately because of my sticky fingers from all the trimming I did not make many pictures/videos of the grow itsels, to fill this void I decided on including the harvest videos and photographs. Although the final weight will be summed up in the final harvest. Parece que ha terminado de estirar. Practico una defoliación intensa para airear los futuros cogollos y dejar mas espacio en el cuarto de cultivo. Agrupo de nuevo las macetas en su lugar optimo para asi rellenar por completo la carpa @marshydro. Me quedé algo corto de nutrientes pero estoy muy contento con los resultados, cada vez le voy encontrando mas su punto optimo. Siempre es mejor quedarse corto que pasarse.
