Northern lights are really stretching like crazy. By the end of the week the skittles #2 caught up and is goin strong. Last week before i do a 21 day defoliation.

Heeey! 👋 It's week two and everything went quite well I believe! The girls are growing and they look healthy! 💪 During the first days this week and while I was checking them I started to think how I could improve (and fix) what I did in my previous grow, specifically the veg. phase. I wasn't the brightest person in my previous grow because I left the lights at their maximum power during this phase to increase the overall heat of the tent (it was a winter where I live) and while that idea made total sense to me at that time later I found out that was a not the best idea at all 😰. By doing what I did it meant my plants were receiving way more energy they could handle and that meant the plants didn't grow as much as they could 😱😭 So, how could I improve that this time? The best way was to get a PAR meter so I could measure how much light my babies are receiving but those are expensive so the best option after was using the lux meter (or rather the RGB brightness sensor) that's available in my phone (most phones come with one) and by doing that I get a rough idea how much food my babies were receiving (in lux tho, not the best method but it helps to get an idea) 👌 The first days Pistachio and Matcha were getting about 8000 lux and as the week progressed I ended near 18000. Some websites said that amount was acceptable for young plants (they do not talk about the quality of the light tho). For the next week I plan to reach 24000 lux and stay around that 😊 I also think this week I'll move the girls to a slightly bigger pot and with each transplant I'll keep using mycorhizes (Mico Root are mycorhizes) to help the root development. On day 1 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 6.4 to 6.0. The tallest cola is 5.5" from the light. Lower colas are mostly 9"-10" from the light. On day 2 the reservoirs PH is 6.1. The tallest cola is 5" from the light. Lower colas are mostly 9"-10" from the light. On day 3 I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 6.0 to 6.3. The tallest cola is 4.5" from the light. Lower colas are mostly 8"-10" from the light. I did my last major defoliation in order to bring more light and air flow deeper into the canopy. The plants are progressing as expected. No smell yet and the pistils are showing more each day. On day 4 I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 6.4 to 6.1. My mini dehumidifier was emptied after being 3/4 full after 5 days running. My tallest cola is 4" from the light. Lower colas are mostly 8"-10" from the light. On day 5 I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 6.0 to 6.3. My tallest cola is 3.5" from the light. Lower colas are mostly 8"to 10" from the light. The plants buds are growing in size with more pistils showing every day :) On day 6 the PH of the reservoir is 6.2. My tallest cola is 3.5" from the light. Lower colas are mostly 7"-9" from the light. It looks like the stretch has finally stopped. I experienced a Runaway with my blumat on my right side plant. I reduced the flow of that blumat by 1 carrot and will monitor the situation going forward. After adding my carbon filter to my exhaust I realized it was drawing the heat from my box causing in proper heating. I will try to reduce the air flow of the carbon filter to make it easier to keep the heat in the grow box. On day 7 the PH of the reservoir is 6.2. My tallest cola is 3.25" from the light. Lower colas are mostly 7"-9" from the light. I did one last major defoliation on day 21 of flower to improve airflow and light penetration keeping only the top leaves of each cola.

This Week On KeembBoomin The smells are amazing walking into the room no the mention once I actually open the tent, a very sweet tropical aroma at first sniff should I say. In tent 1 on the right there are two Bubble Gums(from seedsupreme) are growing completely different at the bottom right she is very orange but not as frost, but the girl in the back right is not so orange but very frosty. And then there is my favorite Amnesia Haze (Also from Seedsupreme) I always keep one of those girls growing never fails extremely frosty smells like gassy orange citrus and smokes just perfect for me and a nice yield girl for sure last time I got a little over a quarter pound just from one plant Tent 2 Now these plants were me having a little fun as well as testing some strains the see if I will grow again. So I’m the front I have a Peanut ButterPie x Royal Kandy(Won it on 420) this was a grow again I just have to many seed so I grow them 4 at a time, BUT this is the orangest most frostiest MOST dense flower I have ever seen. To the back right I have a GMO Cookies I found the seed in a shake bag from the dispensary I’m not really a fan of the buds are frosty the the nugs are so tiny looks like I’m going to have nothing but popcorn but anyway, And last we have in the back left corner some random bag seed I took off my friend hands cause I could not stand to see it look the way it did I SHOULD HAVE LEFT IT she is so shitty the only thing I like about her is that all her buds look like a amazing shape and size BUT no frost just plant like what????

Harvested the Lung Busters on day 64. Was seeing about 5% amber on all plants, which is what I personally prefer. Looking like this will be a great harvest! These branches were chunky, and especially LB#2 was suuuper stacked with nodes. Super excited for the trim jail on these and the Miami Mamis. Will post more pics of both strains when I trim! Will also have dry weight numbers when I trim. I don't usually weigh my plants wet.

Day 35. I know its last day of previous week, just didnt wanted to mess with week type. Its BIG week . New light was added and rhythm changed to 12/12. Pot was top uped with 3 handfulls of BioBizz Worm Castings. 1.5 g of Biosys and 1.5 g of Great White were added too. After training she got 2.5l of water, fastest drinker at the moment. Girl got small defoliation, when you bent main top, one fan leaf is always staying in everyone's way, so he had to go. Think to do big clearing on day 14-18 of flower. Got first wave of LST, main top was lowered, couple shoots were repositioned and secured too... Girl is a racer, double the size of others, thinking to scrog her even ... Still get nitrogen excess and magnesium issues, girl is on plain water, but pot is still too rich and i added castings ;)))) TS1000 by Mars Hydro, great light, did perfect job during veg period, now i added one more for better coverage of long tent. Think in tent 1x1m i could manage to flower all 3 without any ad ons .... Great small light for amazing price. Day 37. I see more progression, went with 3.5 liters of higher ph 6.5 , run off was 495 ppm, 6.3 ph, so all should sort out .... i still believe its more overdose than lack. She drinks fast, was even droopy a bit, needed watering few hours earlier... Day 38. Looks like higher ph and run off helped her a bit, anyways still see some damage, but form of even canopy compensate everything, she is very nice ! Day 41. Girl got heavy training, 5-10 leaves were taken off, most shoots secured. One leaf was double ;))) 3.5 liters of 6.3 water went in. Happy Growing !!!

Decent week. More LST and some defoliation. Good advice from community attempting to bring the main stem down further using LST to lower the light and get more into the lower buds. Don't think she'll put on any huge amounts more growth but I love her all the same. Had some issues with smell which made me a little nervous as my tent is outside under cover close'ish to the neighbour. Bought a plug in ambi per perfume dispenser. Actually works well to mask the smell.
