MID-WEEK UPDATE: Gave the twins their second last feeding today. A few nights of 14-16 Hour Dark periods as well due to plans/not having timers but as I said before I think the longer Dark periods have really sped up the flower development. PURPLE IS STARTING! Some very nice purple is starting to come into the cals and sugar leaves 😈 Going to push some lower temps in week 8 to get as much colour out of them as possible. Arnold still heavy fan leaf fading. Ran straight water through the medium before todays feeding incase any build up nute locked it. Never fully bounced back from the last feed but also getting near the end. I have a feeling I'll pull Arnold first in week 8 then maybe let Danny go for a more couch lock. Danny: GRAPE SMELL. Holy, I don't know if it's more of a Grand Daddy Purp pheno or what but holy is the grape smell off of Danny insane. Almost like a different strain compared to the smells off Arnold. WEEK 6! HOME STRETCH OF GLAZED GROW #1! The smell is insane. What started as a premature musk has slowly evolved into sticky ass chocolate goodness, fresh mint/herb, and even some grape/fresh fruit smell on the fingers after defol and mold checks. Noticing a hint of that GASSS too as we start to enter the final ripen. This will also mark the final week of Nute feeding. Fed today and probably two more Weds/Sun. Then will switch to Molasses/Water for Week 7 and plain water for first half of Week 8 before the dry out. As you can see, Big Arnold is showing cal/mag and PH problems. Always bounces back after PH perfect feedings and I've been defoliating the faders as we go to save bud energy. It's been rootbound since mid-flower and I'm sure the whole root zone is a mess. The extra work I've had to put into a soilless peat-based medium like ProMix with a photoperiod plant has been great practice and experience but I'm looking forward to a few round of autoflowers and soil grows to dial back the difficulty settings through the winter months. 7 weeks later and she's flowering nicely, not too much verticle growth but the buds are getting bigger every day. Stoked! Nothing new, might make another compost tea up this week. Welcome back to growfessor theatre! Week 4F begins in the 4x4. Heavy defoliation performed on the Mandarin dreams and Do-si-dos, Green Crack and LSD got a light defoliation. LSD had the most yellowing, she seems to be the hungriest for nutrients. Not much else to report, the ladies are happy, healthy and bud is developing nicely! 6/12 Thunderstorms turned to sun Plants are growing substantially. The ones that were damaged from the sun have pulled out of it. I checked the fim I did on a gmo that later burned and it has five tops! I took a couple videos bur I'll have to wait until tomorrow to upload them. Despite the weather severity and inconsistencies I'm in a really good spot. I'll upload the two videos tomorrow when I'm in a better area. Wifi is far to slow. 6/13 Rained yesterday before turning to hot sun. Supposed to be in the 90s today. Due to the rain and storms we've been having I hacebt had to water. Soil is still moist. Plants seem to be growing at a great pace. With all this rain they've gotten a hearty dose of the nutes in my soul mix and then when the sun comes out and they bask for a few hours they look considerable bigger. Another storm coming up but other than that weather is good. Plants are happy and doing well. 6/14 Plants are loving this hot weather. Rainy then it will clear up and be sunny. All plants have recovered from the shock of the weather and are growing like crazy. Ice started some lsting. I haven't even had to water. 6/15 Medium is still damp. I don't think we'll get much rain the next few days but we've gotten a lot lately. I'll continue playing it by ear. The water lasts much longer with the smaller plants in lather containers. Later in the summer I could be watering daily. If there is no rain I'll allow the bags to dry out and I'll water them. I may start them on a small nutrient schedule like the fox farm organic one you use for the entirety. I've hesitated though because my soil is chock full of nutrients and they show no sighs of deficiencies. I'll keep an eye on it. They look great though. 9/16 Watered after church. 3 1/2 gallons so approximately a half gallon each. Iys been really hot and i dont see rain in the forecast. Also broke the gmo that I fimmed right at a topping point. It wasnt wilted, and I ran and grabbed duct tape and fixed it. I've had good luck in the past this way. Hopfully I will this time as well. Still sucks though 9/17 The plant that split at the V that I taped up seems to be doing just fine. Looks just like the other top next to it. Thank God. Things seem to be going well. I'm wondering if I should start giving nutrients but I don't see any deficiencies and I know this soil mix lasts pretty much through veg without showing signs of deficiencies. I think it might be a case of "if it's not broke don't fix it." I'll look back on diaries and I'll do some research. 9/18 It's overcast but it's been in the upper 80's. I checked the plants around 11 and they looked good. They'll need water but I'm holding off until the morning. The plant I broke at the crook shows no signs of wilting or any negative effects. I assume it will come back stronger. I was thinking about watering tonight but at 12 there was still a little moisture. They will be fine until morning. Plants seem bigger every day.

Well one month of life for this hopefully female i was supposed to top thos weekend but got busy so im gonna have to top next weekend she already has 5 nodes and still getting natural sun light with no vegetative nutrients yet only pest prevention SNS 209

Day 36 preflower stage, should see buds forming within the next several days or so. WE ARE AT WAR!!!! Applied a pouch of nematodes to every pot to kill the fungus gnat at its larval stage. Which has been gnawing on my roots! Increased the sticky traps to trap the flying f*<|{£rs. Will reapply more nematodes in 10 days to kill the next generation. Then hopefully that’ll be all! Don’t overwater folks. Fungus gnats suck! Hopefully last hiccup of the grow. Cheers everyone. Good luck on your grows. Day 41 and I’d say we’re officially in flower. Seein those hairs real good now. We’re still experiencing a rather annoying fungus gnat infestation which has really stunted these ladies. This is entirely my own doing by more than likely overwatering them, creating the problem. Sighs… lower stems grew considerably, which has me optimistic as to the potential yield. I won’t know till stretch is over to gauge my yield. Hopefully Fastbuds amazing genetics can help me fix my f up. 🤞 Day 45 and were on our second round of treatment with nematode packs. I have moved the grow lights up substantially as to hopefully help with the discoloration of my leaves. I believe it to be light stress from the lightening around the edges and some brown tips. Some of them are curled upwards so thst could also be nutrient burn. I have asked a question about it to hopefully get the help of someone more experienced than iam. Good luck growing my friends🍻 Day 48 I ripped open my nematodes packs and mixed in the first couple inches. The top few inches of soil are now aerated better. Hopefully things will improve. Seem to look better since I moved the light up. Stretch ladies… stretch watering at 6.0 to hopefully lower the ph of my girls. I could do the viniger method? Or sulfur. I was hoping to harvest this weekend as the days are getting colder. The trichomes arent't quite ready. So, I'm going to have to hold out another week. My garage is not heated. So, I have to plan my grows around the local weather despite growing in a tent. The Afghani has turned purple on the leaves that see the most light. Likely due to the drop in temperature at night. I have stopped feeding the plants. The EC has remained unchanged for the last week. There is no point in wasting nutrients if the plant won't eat.
