Today is a great day here with the papaya bomb cotten candy! I have done a lot of work with this plant and she is lovingggggg it! let me tell you! with everytt branch topped and healed we are looking at a total of 34 coals in the 2x2 to fill her up! I might try to take some clones as she is a simi fast term. And I will be having to make the flip to a 12/12 It wwould be bad asss if I can get some clones from her!!! But I am just excited to get some phat ole dank coals from her!!! She wants to produce them haha letsssss goooo any thoughts idewas comments questions im always here :) MUCH LOVE HAPPY GROWING

The increased CO2 allows plants to thrive at higher temperatures, which in turn necessitates higher humidity to maintain the ideal VPD for healthy growth and transpiration. 80F -5F = 75F LST with 70% RH = 0.72 kPa. Higher temperatures and humidity promote rapid growth, nutrient uptake, and photosynthesis while maintaining a lower stress level. Temperature influences the rate of enzymatic reactions involved in aerobic respiration. Enzymes, such as those involved in glycolysis, the Krebs cycle, and the electron transport chain, work most efficiently at an optimal temperature range. In low temperatures, enzymatic activity will slow down, thus reducing the rate of aerobic respiration. In high temperatures, enzymes can become denatured, thus impairing their function and stopping the process of aerobic respiration. Glucose is the primary fuel for aerobic respiration. The rate of aerobic respiration increases with the availability of glucose, as it is the starting point for glycolysis. If glucose levels are low, cells may rely on alternative energy sources such as fatty acids or amino acids , but these processes may yield less ATP or be less efficient. To determine this effect, carbon dioxide volume was measured (as carbon dioxide is an output of aerobic respiration) 18/6 with the 6 being IR. Once I understood that water is produced as a by product during cellular respiration, specifically at the very end of the electron transport chain (ETC) where electrons are finally transferred to molecular oxygen, the higher the RH of the air, the more resistance there is for more moisture to be added to that environment, and effects the ease with which it does so. But none of that water comes from the pot; it's pulled from the air. If you run high daytime RH, your medium/pot is 100% reliant on transpirational root pull to move water. ZERO evaporation happens across the atmosphere if the tent air has high RH%, the medium cannot release its water through evaporation. Once a canopy develops, light no longer slowly wicks and evaporates from the topsoil. The Soil-Plant-Atmosphere Continuum (SPAC) describes the continuous pathway and process of water movement, driven by a gradient in water potential, from the soil, through the plant's roots, stem, and leaves, and finally evaporating into the atmosphere through transpiration. There is evaporation, there is transpiration, and then there is evapotranspiration; Evapotranspiration (ET) is the combined total of two processes: evaporation (water lost directly from soil and surface water into the atmosphere) and transpiration (water released from plants to the atmosphere through their leaves). Evapotranspiration represents the total amount of water that moves from the medium into the air. There is no such thing as a medium with too much water, only a medium that retains too much for too long. The water must always flow efficiently from one atmosphere(Medium) to another(Air) in a timely manner. Moisture is a critical factor for bacterial growth and decay. Dictating how long it's allowed to sit in any one location for any given period is a key preferred control. To ensure a net reduction in a bacterial population, the rate of removal (ET) must exceed the rate of bacterial growth (decay rate), which is often modeled as a growth rate for the specific bacterium under the given conditions. By optimizing daytime VPD, we also optimize conditions for bacterial growth to explode exponentially above 77ยฐF.. If water is allowed to sit in a medium without an escape within a timeframe, nothing good will happen. IF High RH is maintained overnight as well as during the day, placing 100% of water movement at the behest of daytime transpiration, roots can only pull where they can reach, and if soil is compressed above a certain point, moisture will become trapped in a medium with no way of moving day or night. This will begin the countdown for decay to take hold. When water stagnates in a medium, it loses oxygen, creating anaerobic conditions that foster the growth of harmful microorganisms like bacteria and fungi, which can produce toxins and disease vectors. Thigmomorphogenesis, the process by which plants respond to mechanical stimuli like touch by altering their growth and development, results in significant morphological changes to improve survival against mechanical perturbations. This complex response involves sensing touch and initiating physiological and genetic responses, leading to changes in form and structure over days or weeks. The process is triggered by physical forces such as wind, rain, or touch. Plants adapt to these stimuli by changing their shape and structure, which may include slower growth, thickened stems, or altered leaf development. Plants possess sophisticated mechanisms to detect even subtle mechanical stimuli and initiate responses. A variety of molecules, including calcium ions, jasmonates, ethylene, and nitric oxide, are involved in signaling these mechanical inputs. Touch can induce the expression of genes that encode proteins for calcium sensing, cell wall modification, and defense mechanisms. A plant exposed to constant wind may become shorter and sturdier. A plant that is touched frequently might grow more slowly to conserve energy and develop thicker cell walls. These changes increase a plant's resilience and ability to survive in harsh environments. Horrible week :( 1 of the dosi's hermed so im down to 4 plants, 1 DNA Genetics Bakers Delight and 3 Barney's farm Dos-si-dos 33. ( I started with 6 dosi's -_- ) never running these again. The remainers are stacking up nicely after PK week. The DNA genetics bakers delight is absolutely gorgious, the smell is insane!! I'm happy i replaced my carbonfilter a couple of weeks ago. Def be running this strain again. Rock on Growmies

Start of week 5. - She has not started flowering just yet but i expect her to bloom late in this week or early in the next. - Height=20 cm - Width=42cm 30/01-2024 - Day 29 - Watered 2l ( mixed 4ml of grow-bloom-top & calmag with 2l water) 01/02-2024 - Day 31 - She has started getting taller and have reached about 25 cm today. 03/02-2024 - Day 33 - Watered 1,5L (mixed 3ml of grow bloom top with 1.5 l water ) - Height= 28 cm - Width=45cm - 8 "floors"-16 side branches. Her stem and bottom branches look thick, able to carry water and nutrients to the future buds. Gotta love them thick fertile hips ๐Ÿ˜ 04/02-2024 - Day 34 - Pre-flower has sprung out all over the plant now and she looks like she just started flowering - i went through all her side branches gently bending the lower big leaves below the bud carrying branches, making sure no budcarrying branches would be held down by other branches. 05/02-2024 - Day 35 - Last day of the week. she has grown a couple of centimeters the past couple of days and have reached 31 cm height. She looks a little crispy on the tips so i might give her a light dosage og fertilizer tomorrow instead of the expected dosage.

Vegetative Week 3 This third week of vegetative growth was expected to be a turning point, but it turned out to be another difficult one. The plant did gain a bit of height, roughly a couple of centimeters, which shows that growth hasnโ€™t completely stalled. However, foliage development remains poor, and overall vigor is clearly lacking. The plant is growing, but it doesnโ€™t look healthy or strong. No additional watering was done this week, as the medium did not justify it. Humidity management appears to be a key issue. Under the dome, humidity was still around 95%, which is excessive. The dome has now been fully opened to allow better gas exchange. Removing the small support revealed another concern: the stem lacks strength, as the plant fell over once unsupported. This points to weak structural development and possibly limited transpiration and nutrient uptake. Condensation droplets were observed on the leaves, confirming that the plant is likely oversaturated with moisture. Excess humidity may be preventing proper respiration, which could explain the lack of nutrient absorption and overall stagnation. At this stage, no drastic action is taken. The focus is on observation, environmental adjustments, and understanding the root cause of the stress. This plant should normally be much larger by week three, so close monitoring will continue into next week. See you next week!

3/03/2021 - Seeds arrived - I let one seed soak in distilled water for 12 hours. Room temperature. The other seed will go straight into a moist paper towel tomorrow. 3/04/2021 - After 12 hours of soaking I moved the seed to a moist paper towel and put in a ziploc bag. I also started another Seedsman Blueberry seed (didnโ€™t soak it as an experiment). I put the ziploc bags in a warm dark spot. I will check it in 24 hours. 3/5/2021 - The seed I let soak for 12 hours has started to root. Iโ€™m going to let the tap root get a little bigger before I transfer it to a rock wool cube. I will check the seeds in 6 hours. Well 6 hours later the non soaked seed broke open and exposed a small tap root. Tomorrow they should be ready for rock wool cubes. 3/6/2021 - Moved the seeds to rock wool cubes. We observed that the seed that did not soak, rather just placed into moist paper towels, had the first sprout. We made sure to put root down first with spout over the top of the rock wool. 3/7/2021 - Both seeds have sprouted and are in the humidity dome. They will continue to grow until I see roots. 3/8/2021 - The sprouts look great! We will let them grow until roots appear from the bottom of the cubes. The 3rd cube in the dome is another Seedsman Blueberry we will be growing as a mother plant for clones. 3/9/2021 - Not really much to report. They seem to have stopped stretching and are taking shape nicely. I will continue to keep them in the humidity dome until they root out of the bottom. 3/10/2021 - Today all 3 seedlings had roots showing in the rock wool. I transplanted each one into solo cups filled with Fox Farm Happy Frog. I noticed the cubes were soaked and over watered. The soil will dry it out and I will start feeding them Fox Farm Big Bloom.

I'm perfectly in the middle of the flowering๐ŸŒป period if things go this way I expect a great harvest๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ’ช Day 33 I had to open the tent for a check during the hours of darkness (suspicious noise) I took the opportunity to take some photos that without HPS and much better .... ๐ŸŒป๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’š

Die Pflanzen haben sich in der 2. Woche gut entwickelt und sind auf eine Hรถhe von 10-16cm gewachsen. Beim ร–ffnen des Zeltes kann man schon einen leichten Duft wahrnehmen.

Hey, diese Woche ist jetzt der 2. Monat fรผr die GroรŸen Pflanzen und ihnen geht es gut. Hat sich nicht viel verรคndert auรŸer das die Buds langsam groรŸer werden. Sie haben schon ca. vor einer Woche mit dem strecken aufgehรถrt. Ich geben ihnen momentan ca. 2l Wasser aller 3-4 Tage. Ich habe auch ein paar mehr Bilder gemacht zum besser betrachten ๐Ÿ”. Ich denke die beiden Purple Punch werden ca. in 2-3 Wochen fertig sein aber das schaue ich mit dem Mikroskop wie die Trichome aussehen ๐Ÿค”, die anderen brauchen sicherlich noch 4-6 Wochen wenn nicht sogar noch lรคnger aber das ist kein Problem sie kรถnnen sich ruhig Zeit lassen ๐Ÿง‘๐Ÿฝโ€๐ŸŒพ. Die 4 neuen Pflanzen ๐ŸŒฑ wachsen sehr gut und schnell, sind jetzt knapp 2 Wochen alt. Ihnen gebe ich nur 1l normales Wasser (pH:6,7), ich denke in ca 1-2 Wochen kann ich das erste Training beginnen. Flowering day 42 since time change to 12/12 h . Hey guys :-) A lot happened this week :-). The buds develop really nicely . The scent wafts through the whole room when I open the tent ๐Ÿ’š.
