Feb 22 / Day 74: Heavy defoliation of many fan and larger sugar leaves

Well 2 got chopped down as the trichomes were nice and milky. The other 2 I completely defoliated and gave a good shot of nutes. The roots seemed a little on the moist side. 1 plant gave 147grams wet the dark plant gave 155 grams of wet.

I fed the plant with Bio PK for the last time this week. From now on I will just water the plant without adding any nutrients. The buds are starting to swell up and they are getting more frost. The aroma is getting more intense from day to day.

Great week, harvested the Candy Kushs and the remaining girls are doing really well. I've stopped feeding them and just giving water now as I am away for a few weeks and wanted to keep it simple for my partner who is looking after them while I am away. The fastberry can probably be harvested already but decided to leave her longer and hopefully give buds more time to fatten up. The Bubble Kush is looking amazing and the buds are growing and gaps between buds getting smaller, she looks like she can do with a few more weeks, so she'll be perfect when I am back hopefully. This will be my last update until then probably.

Day 7 i I transplanted the seedlings in jiffy’s to the DWC basket water level was “just” touching the bottom of the basket which meant there was 1mm- 2mm air gap between the water level and the jiffy’s. The high pressured air in the water to spit when air was released at the top which kept the bottom of the jiffy moist which had minimal roots showing to the exterior of it. Day 7-13 I originally had 7.5 litres of water that was to the bottom of the basket. I replaced the water on the 13th which meant the water was changed after 6 days at such an early stage I will regularly change the water in the buckets. You can change every 7-14days but I am taking no chances. I refilled and added nutrients on Day 13 which was yesterday. And the plants are doing really well and are a nice VEG green colour. Hard to tell on the pictures with the light colour but you can see their progress. When I replaced the water this week I put 6.5L of water in each bucket With nutrients PH’d as close to 5.8 as possible. Some varied from 5.72 - 5.9. I have noted these on each bucket so that I can check if one does better than the others or shows deformities or stress I can amend it to match the others but hopefully not in such a close proximity of 5.8ph with an EC of 700+- The roots are now showing in every pot with the longest being some 6inches. The new Wakyme grow light is top notch so far with VEG button on only. Anyone contemplating buying one it cost me £99.00 from amazon and so far is performing just how I would like. Humidity has been taken care of with a cold air intake fan which is pulled from another area of the building of a cooler environment. Temperatures are spot on where I want them but I do allow a 2degree +- allowance but it does change back to its original temperature quickly enough. 5 more speed bud germinated and 2peyote critical feminised photoperiod germinated. Crystal candy XL auto ordered x10 Gorilla glue, Pineapple Express and Cali Kush waiting in the wings. I have these already If I can be anymore help to anyone let me know. Day 36- 20/6 General: She keeps growing at a very nice pace, flowering stage just started. Today I cut a good amount of foliage, and accidentally broken a nice branch while training her. It broke in a place I couldn't really 'cast it' so I had to let it go. I'm so sad, it was the first time ever. After some very hot days, now came rain, and an exponential increase of RH. Turned off the humidifier for now and still have peaks of 60% with light off and ventilation full on. But RH outside is 95%, so it's hard to do much better for now. Techniques: Training day, moved a little the stems and broke one in the very bottom, so had to discard it. Took some foliage away to get more light in it. El 10 de mayo pusimos las 4 semillas en un vaso de agua para germinarlas, y el dia 15 salieron en el sustrato, con una maceta de 2 L , a partir de la primera semana bebieron bionabis, este cultivo vamos a seguir la tabla de elicitación y nutrición como el anterior, ademas probaremos el enzynabis y el living soil de terranabis ! Ya vamos por la segunda semana de vegetación, en breves nos ponemos al dia ! Saludos.

Growing this particular plant was extremely eye opening to me and the future grows I will be doing. It's allowed me to get first hand experience with a different strain, a new substrate, different nutrients and different ways of growing! I learnt that my yields will be enhanced through the use of a larger pot regardless of the substrate, light or strain, but the pot size I have makes for a very nice little plant with big 4 large frosty colas enhanced by advanced grow techniques. Damn it. Just missed the 200g dry weight... I thank everyone who joined me on this grow and specially to all those that commented!

Very difficult for me to grow. So much foliage. This plant bushes out like crazy. She was also a real pain in the ass to harvest. You should strip her of every god damn leaf except for the top nodes right before flower or she will fill out to the point of cover up all the bud. I had to throw out a bunch of under developed flower because it was so bushy..

We are an update away from the results. Both control plants chopped by way of spin trimmer. Non defo has the biggest cola, defo plant has the most mains and seems a bit heavier when wet. Results in a week or so Sbg.com

Ernte Tag ... ich liebe es zu grown, das entlauben mag ich garnicht. Aber was Muss das Muss, erst Sonnensegel ab, dann rein in Dryferm Bags. Zum Teil hab ich sie schon von den Stielen getrennt, andere ganz gelassen und ein Teil so wie immer auf das Netz gelegt. Ich bin gespannt ob man ein Unterschied bemerkt. Nächstes Update nach den Feintrimm in ca 10 Tagen. :)
