Week 8 day 56. Trichomes are turning milky, most still clear. I should of defoliated before but this being my 1st auto flower and me being a newbie I didn't want to take the chance. Lessons learnt for next time. Day 61. Approaching 9 week mark. Buds are getting frosty. Not sure if I should give more nutrient or just continue topping up with water. No sign of amber. Pistils on top buds are changing to brown.

Week 4: Vegetative Growth Brrrrrr🤧 It’s been a really cold week for this time of year so far—just under 15 degrees during the day and between 6 and 8 degrees at night. It’s supposed to stay this way for a few more days. But the Gelato is doing great anyway.💪 The temperatures don’t seem to bother her, even though her growth has slowed down a bit... at least that’s how it seems to me. Still, I’m very happy... and she’s also starting to give off a little scent.😍

Her flowers are continuing to bulk up and are covered in glistening trichomes. She appears to be starting to fade which is exactly what I'm hoping to see, meaning that she's just about used up the nutrients in her medium. I watered today with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was then ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉ turned her pot and shot a few pictures of her. And lastly, I have to address the 'elephant in the room'. Yes, it looks like she's got some seeds in her flowers. She's in my 4x8 with seven other ladies and, unbeknownst to me, my Do Si Dos #33 developed some male flowers that were EXTREMELY small and well hidden. As a result, she got fertilized. This happened so late into flower that I decided to go ahead and finish her out. My hopes are that I get some viable seeds which should be an interesting F1 cross between these two. 10/6- Today I watered her with 1.5g of her usual straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and turned her pot. She's just starting to fade, is still stacking her flowers, bulking up and has an incredible amount of trichomes which I'm beginning to monitor daily. 10/8- The routine of watering every other day continues like clockwork. Yesterday was a 'no water' day and I did a basic check over of the plant, removed a couple of yellowed lower leaves and turned her pot. Today she got the usual 1.5g of straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and had her pot turned. I've also begun to check her trichome development with a digital USB microscope to try to identify the ideal harvest time which, according to the breeder, will be here in around three weeks +/- but nothing is cut in stone so I'll let the trichomes determine when she's ready...ya never know, could be a lot sooner! 🤪 10/10- Well, Week Eight has come, gone and has been a trial once again of my patience with this 11-12 Week cultivar! She's so freaking frosty that I've wanted to chop her several times but, I know from experience, good things come to those who wait... then wait a bit more. I anticipate that she's not going to make the 77-84 days in flower 'suggested' by the breeder for best taste/yield and will probably go closer to the 9 weeks +/- which is the minimum recommended flowering period for this strain, but we'll have to see what her trichomes have to say! I've cut the wattage back on the HLG 650R to 500w at the wall now to simulate the way that sunshine becomes weaker as fall approaches due to the lower angle of the sun in the sky. This helps outdoor plants to know that winters on the way and they need to hurry up and complete their life cycle. Cutting the wattage back creates the same effect on the indoor plants, especially when coupled with lowered temperatures in the tent. I have also noticed that her water uptake has slowed. After her heavy watering on the 8th, her pot still had some weight to it and she was looking great so I went ahead and skipped watering her today, watering her tomorrow at lights on with her usual. Looks awesome in her 4th week since we changed the light cycle to 12-12 she's developing a big fat main cola which I think it's gonna be reeal fat in a couple of weeks, the smell of this strain it's not very strong yet however she has a really nice piney smell, let's see how this jack orange keeps developing her buds, I hope she gets to produce a lot of strong terps, not very strong smell at the moment. Hi guys, I have a power outage in my village for 2 hours on the V+4 😒 but it's ok don't have problem. 👍 just a little trick I see she needs more ratio of air humidity, I put a plate with water in it to see with the heat if it evaporates. 😀 i have cut the head on the day 11. switch to 18/6 on the day 12

Jetzt sind die Trauermahlen endlich weg und auf einmal sind thripse da. Zwar nicht allzu viele aber sie sind da….. Daher werd ich nächsten grow als Substrat einen großen Teil cocos benutzen. Das soll steril sein und die Viecher mögen es nicht! Abgesehen davon soll man damit auch bessere Erträge reinholen können und die terpen gehakte sind anscheinend auch höher. Die terps sind krass! Sowas hätte ich nicht erwartet. Bin sehr erstaunt das riecht richtig nach 10/10 topshelf! Hut ab an Lit farms Ab jetzt werden ein bisschen weniger Nährstoffe gegeben und ab nächster Woche die Wassermenge leicht reduziert.

Talk about a mission accomplished, dam you Lamby… you had me excited at one point when I thought you were an auto, but to my shock, you are a regular, you just have a long ass flowering window… at least unlike her sisters within the 4th cycle, she did not reveg she just focused on flower, the buds are bulky and firm, scent is amazing, you would mistake her for a cheese strain. I should not be disappointed by the plant’s size! Because I planted her during winter, and all outdoor or greenhouse(unless you have a GH that is climate controlled), do not grow as big as the would during spring or summer season, and due to this factor, I only got 59g of wet bud. But I have faith the other ladies will produce a higher yields. Last I smoke this strain was earlier late summer or early Autumn, and from smoking to growing now harvest, I wish I am blown out the water with this strain, it’s time to conduct that questionnaire. Or even better go to an established cannabis club, and get them to samples bud, and ask for a review.

Very rough week. I noticed discoloration of fan leaves which led to a lot of different deficiencies. Thought I was going to lose my plants.

Day 57 about to do my first schwazz Day 60 did a heavy defoliation. Not quite a schwazz. Almost Filled a 2 gallon bucket up with clippings a lot more light and air penetration is available. I think she’ll bounce back nicely Day 64. As the week comes to an end. I am very pleased with the progress. Canopy is nice and even. You can’t tell which one is the main cola. And for a little 300 watt light even the lower flowers are getting pretty dense. Still a long way to go. I would imagine this one will take over 90 days before see Amber. But we shall see
