Earlier this week our very own sidelibe reporter Lyetah Nutherwon was able to catch up with the clone 1Leaf aka The 1, and discuss the plants recent success. We will now take you there live, to the transcript of that interview L..N.:"So 1 Leaf, what has been the key to your recent success?" 1: "I think the biggest keys have been taking advantage of light and nutrients while also making sure i stay well hydrated." L.N.: "How has all the success changed your life and is it hard not to let it go to your head?" 1: "Nah it doesnt go to my head cuz Im pretty much topped all the way around. I believe its important to stay in touch with your roots and remember where you came from. What makes you who you are. I had a rough dome life growing up and like to stay in touch with that part of me and use it as motivation. L.N. "motivation for what? What would you like to change?" 1: "I don't want young clones growing up feeling the way I felt. Indica, Sativa, Hybrid....we're all the same genus. Indoor plants...outdoor plants....we all need to come together. We dont have to agree about everything just respect one another regardless of what color our leaves are, the spectrum we prefer, whether or not we are foliated or defoliated, nutrient burned or nutrient deficient." L.N. "That sounds down right reasonable 1 Leaf. You should probably be ruler of the universe. What about all the strainists and haters? If plants want something to blindly hate then why not just hate seedling molesters? Just cuz an indica or a sativa wronged you doesnt mean they all will. There's good and bad phenotypes of all strains....but there aren't any good seedling molesters. So let's all just hate them instead. L.N.: "That might be the most logical thing I've ever heard. That's fantastic. So how do u want to finish your career?" 1: "My ultimate goal is to get into flower and become a legendary bud and resin producer. That's my dream. Then once I'm done with the flower game, I want to be rolled up into a big ol' hooter, light me up and pass my ass around the world so everybody can get lit together and stop being dicks to each other. Day 30 Feb. 18th- I feel like everything is going great -all plants are now in final 7 gallon containers..have used a lot of soil! -I have been tying the plants down as much as possible -March 2nd will be 42 days and I think that is when I will switch to 12/12 -Day 35 Feb. 24th- I need trellis netting soon I retie branches constantly for inner growth HULKBERRY and GREEN GELATO are growing similar...LSD and ROYAL GORILLA are growing similar! -Very interesting!! * I have color coated the plants like I should have a couple weeks ago -GREEN GELATO has all green pipe cleaners now...HULKBERRY has all yellow pipe cleaners. very long branches and small inner growth LSD is in all purple pipe cleaners. tying it down has done wonders! it has awesome inner growth! Now the ROYAL GORILLA in all orange pipe cleaners! This plant is a pain in the ass lol. The inner growth and spacing is insanely close!!! so many shoots all tightly together. I have tied down anything I can. Unsure how it will work in budding next week

Finally got my pH and ppm pen this week, I flushed the plant with 7.4ph water tested the run off and it was at 5.8 pH so the rain water lowered it a fair bit, the ppm was at 1800 which is my fault for feeding it a little too much power feed, I flushed it twice the run off on the second one was showing 6.9ph and 550ppm which is much better for the plant. It took the watering really well, I am a little concerned about the pre flowers I've spotted tho.

Well I let them go on for another week in the end and I don’t know whether I’m just used to the smell but I definitely have noticed a decline in the loudness of these girls. I’m not ‘flushing’ as much as just giving them water and terpinator for the last couple of weeks to help them fade and finish off. More amber trichomes than I usually have, so these are perfectly ripe I’d say. The additional lights I added to the bottom of the plants definitely worked in maturing the buds but they also made them foxtail and push out pistils and seemed a bit forced. Also needed to account for the extra heat that 3 x small LED strips (approx 25w) so I decided as I wound down the main light to 10.5/13.5 I would turn those off entirely for the last few days. Decided to harvest all the plants together simply because it makes my life easier, believe it or not? Even though the Gorilla Zkittlez could’ve perhaps gone another week even. Oh well. Drying and curing is always an anxious time for me and the aromas are not as pungent as I’d hoped, but let’s hope this bud comes out nice because as this has been a long run due to the cold weather hampering veg early on.

Hey guys :-) A lot has happened this week :-). She has developed very well. Today it was topped on the main shoot for the first time. How often I will use topping on her, I make it dependent on how everyone else develops. I want to bloom soon so it won't happen very often :-). It was poured twice this week with 1 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). Fast plant spray from GBL was applied 2 times this week. New was added this week Fast Bud from GBL is preparing her for the coming flowering. Bio Grow Stay away for a while because the substrate is 30-50 % consists of fresh earth and the ladies are nice and dark green :-). Today there was another spray with neem oil against the remaining tripse which I will repeat one last time next week. As always, everything was cleaned and checked. Did some tie down on the side branches to help with light penetration. When I touch her, she gives off a amazing lemon sweet fuel smell, very intoxicating can't wait to cure it. Hairs are starting turn. She has been loveing a 6.8- 7 ph as well. Had a healthy feed. Added norish-L (humic acid). @ 2 drop/L

Black Opium has continued flower development and is looking very promising. The buds are fattening up very nicely. Good things to come for this one! 😁 I'm trying to add in some PK boosters at this stage, she's looking beautiful. I'm adding Bud explosion, Seaweed extract, Ecothrive Flourish, and Sea K. To increase the Phosphorus and Potassium, to aid in flower development. Let's see how fat these buds can get! Both of them Purple Punch sprouted. Surprised me that, within 24hours in glass of water she showed her root. Will let her veg from now on, as for this grow i am experimenting a fully organic grow without big-bud. Damn it big bud, i wish you are organic hahaha🙃. As for the soil, i doubt there is enough nutes for her to grow so i am going to top dress with bat guano.

behold the epic conclusion of my Medusa F1 odyssey! Week 11 brings us face to face with an absolute masterpiece – our mighty Medusa in all her glory. Sigo alternando riego de agua un día con riego de Ascophillum Nodosum al día siguiente. He dejado de regar con Cannazym.
