D57/FD29 - Thing going grand with the Cookies so far (enjoying growing these Cookie Based Strains). Smell from it is divine! Touch a stem and its a lovely citrus smell left on you for ages! Noted in a previous comment, like a perfect sweetness, fresh lemonade. You'd wear it as an aftershave alright even!!! :P They're drinking a ton but not taking on as much feed (as I've come to expect now in flower) so dropped the base and bloom by 10% (same recommended ratio of 1:1) and kept the PK9/18 booster in there at what would be recommended strength for this week...its the same as last week but week 1 (week 4 of flower) of PK9/18 should have been double...didn't want to overdo it as when I used recommended strength 1st time I got it, it created some serious root zone acidification (Which could have been all the K getting used up but was a mare getting the pH up from 4.something every day!!!). Did my usual root flush/wash before adding feed as the EC had crept up to 2.2 (and I know from experience, that starts messing with your numbers if you don't wash that out right) and took about 50L-60L to get the tank to 0.3EC (base is 0.2) was was a lot of salt sitting on/in the roots. Had a ton of underscreen dead leaf to pick up and just cut some wee straggly offshoots (I know, bad idea this late in flower but they were basically dead/no nutritional value left so basically a bug magnet). Still waiting on Bluelab to send me the RMA approved pH pen...been 2 weeks now since the RMA was approved and still no postage - using an "essentials" pH meter and just dipping in Calibration Fluids between each feed add to ensure some accuracy (As you can see from my recipe page, I like to know what the feed does to the pH - also gives an idea on what they're feeding on when you see pH swings in a different direction that expected). Geeklight also got back to me. In all fairness, I've been dealing with them direct (Got the light fixture from Alibaba, direct from China - big gamble, right???) and they have been more than helpful. I have been telling them about the light randomly coming on at 5% (lowest brightness) and provided evidence; turns out someone else now noticed the same issue with the Remote App controlled variant too and they believed it was a loose control board/wire. They said they did some stuff and that fixed it but I also thought mine was fixed by forcing the dimmer to 0% and it still randomly happened (even though it didn't do it for weeks) so the other person may still get a surprise!! 😋 So, I took out the driver today, pulled out the control board and all wires seemed good and no looseness in the control board (although it does look slightly bent as the Spade for the IR/UV switch isn't fully bedded in). But, like I say, in all fairness to Geeklight, they're posing me a new control board tomorrow from China AND giving me the longer driver cables so as I can put the driver outside of the tent! Give me a bit more room for my Flower Initiator (and hopefully UVB Tube) and great to see them honouring the Warranty. RHC Seems to be flowering nicely as can been seen from the pics. Stacking well, buds coming along. Slight pinkish tip to the pistils on some buds but not the shocking pink as you'd see in the sales pics...hopefully it goes there though! Also noticing a bit of an early frost on a few flowers...like real good frost! And this is only day 1 of week 5 (I know, I do this diary arse about face)!!! Hoping Geeklight get this driver control board and longer cables to me quick so as I can get the driver out of the tent as I'd really like to get the UVB in there to frost them up in a week or 2!!! May only be getting about 9" clearance though so dunno, could be dangerous!!! 12" is the lowest recommended...but then, I could do the 15 min burst lighting (On 15, off 45 min every hour) so lower the risk of burn but get them more exposure (but lowers the lifetime of the tube). They get UVA from the LED's on the light at the moment for a 1/3 of the day and have been since early veg so should be hardened to it by now!!! Anyway, think that's enough s**te chatted by me!!! Lkve this strain and will revist in the future. What can you ask for in a strain??? Strap in for a quick bloom. 54 days and ready to chop!!!! She can handel a good shot of nutes and can handle fluctuations in ppm well. Week 3 is always a fun week as the floweres swell at an incredible rate and seem to eat the stem they are attached to. Lovely week! Done a little defoliating along the way while positioning her branches into the scrog, some i had to use ties to manipulate the branches where I wanted them in the scrog. Started by bending the main through the scrog then tying it back like an S, and the lowers I gave a little bend daily and then tied with pipe cleaners until she goes into full bloom and shoots her secondary stems up and matures! Can’t wait that’s probably days away for me but a week for yall! But follow my insta and there you hey dailies! 💚💯 thank you gromies

Really enjoyed growing this - easy, resistant, and very high yielding.

Hot and some rainy days which has been great for the growth of the girls. They are flourishing everyday. Responding well to the Grow and CalMag nutrients too. You can tell that the one I had topped is slightly wider than the untouched one. Might experiment a bit more with the topped one to get more of a lollipop look. Still have issues with the Japanese Beatles but I've noticed them getting attracted to the flowers in the garden so hopefully they stick to those instead of gnawing on the leaves of the girls.

Man, what a crazy week. If you go back to week 6 you’ll start to see signs of the claw on the leaves. I thought it was a severe nute deficiency but I knew I was feeding her GHE correctly. This is my 2nd run with this particular strain so I could rule out several factors. She’s been fed with a nice blend of food that helped a ton, but she still seemed sick. It wasn’t heat stress, although I’ll be watching the RH levels now that she’s been flipped to flowering. I noticed a couple things I thought were nutrient deficiencies but after further research on Growweedeasy.com, Nebula had my answer! You’ll see in the 1st pic her roots were so bound up I was suffocating her 😢 The first tip that got me thinking: I’d water her and 2 days later she was bone dry. The PH water levels were a bit off in the drain off but nothing crazy. I’m sooo glad I found this when I did as I just flipped her into flower. Growweedeasy.com to the rescue. It amazing content! After top dressing and working the amendments in by hand I replaced the straw coating over the soil and watered them in with 5g of straight well water via garden hose as usual. There goes another week for the Wedding Cheesecake FF and it won't be long before she begins to show signs of pre-flowering! The topped branches are growing back nicely! Selective defoliation to allow for better light penetration. Watered with Real Growers Recharge and Fish Sh!t after top dressing with a tiny bit of Happy Frog fertilizer. Will begin flowering nutrients once she starts throwing more hairs. Continuing to LST and get those lower sites growing!

Girls are doing well....seed looking like she earning her name..have some cutting off her n am please with the first week of flower....one got super stress n she dont even look like it jus watchin to see how things look later

Progress is there. One of them is not doing so well but is starting to show a little bit of life. We’ll see where she is by the end of the week.

Día 66 desde la germinación. 1 semana de floración, estoy cambiando el foto periodo de forma paulatina, para ver como se comportan las plantas, 1/2 hora cada 1 día. Las plantas han retomado su vigorosidad, tanto la Gelato como la California Orange están creciendo a buen ritmo y totalmente recuperadas después de haber estado unos días decaídas. Esta semana empece a aplicar en forma de riego foliar el estimulador de floración (Big One).

Boy she has been through a lot but it doesnt slow her down she pushes on . The tent set up was so off that she just took a huge hit and is just getting better now and starting upwards growth again .. The genetics are good but I'm stressing this baby out the last two weeks and looking forward to her future growth and success ..cheers family
