The growth has slowly stopped as the full energy goes into the production of the buds. Watering was done twice this week, each time with 1.2 l (nutrients see table above) They were individually inspected and checked for their health. D42 - Today is the first day in the sixth week of veg for #2 and the fifth for #1. It has been six days since the first topping for the first girl, so I went ahead and topped her for the second time. I kept a couple of clones from her this time since she is so vigorous. I also had planned to do the third and final topping on the second girl but knew that I had to buy some more soil staples first. However, this morning a red warning showed up in my Corona warn app. It's the first warning I have ever gotten, but I'm triple vaccinated, of course, and I was wearing my N95 mask for this five-minute exposure, but I want to act responsibly and quarantine for a few days, just in case. So I improvised with BBQ skewers and some electrical tape. The skewers won't hold that well, but the branches are still small, so it shouldn't be a problem until I can venture out again. The cover crop was getting a bit unruly again, so I cut it back again. Finally, I gave both girls around 1.2-liters of water @ pH 6.3 and added a couple of qtips with peppermint oil to deter pests. D43 - I gave each girl about two liters of compost tea that I started brewing yesterday. A bit soon, possibly since I watered them only yesterday, but I needed to feed the girls in the other tent, so these girls got some as well. D45 - Aaaaaaaaaarrrrrgggghhhh! Thrips have found their way into the tent. Lately, I've noticed some discoloration on the older leaves but haven't thought much about it. Today though, it was much more pronounced. I took out my loupe and microscope, and sure enough, I could see thrips larvae. Ugh. I ordered some predatory mites immediately to help with the problem, but they won't get here until a few days, and I want to start fighting the infestation as soon as possible. So, I went out shopping and picked up some pure alcohol, chili flakes, and a spray bottle. After soaking the flakes for a couple of hours, I strained the mixture and prepared a 1:10 solution with distilled water in the spray bottle. I removed all older leaves that were affected most and then sprayed all the remaining leaves, taking care to get them soaked on both sides. This chili tincture is nasty stuff, though, and I was coughing like mad, and the snot was flowing like a spring-river. Next time I'll wear a mask! I also sprayed the clones outside the tent and the Chocodope girl in my other tent, just in case. The Colorado Cookies girl is in flower, though, so I couldn't spray her. She has no sign of infestation, but I'll treat her as well with the mites when they get here. D47 - I resprayed the girls yesterday with the chili tincture to ensure I got to all the little critters, and today, the predatory mites arrived. I hung one sachet on each plant, and I hope that's the end of the little buggers. D48 - The end of another week of veg. The second girl thrives after her third topping, and I will do the third and final topping on the first girl in a couple of days. Once that is done, I can install the scrog net. As for the thrips, I can still see larvae, but they are far and few in between. Hopefully, the predatory mites will soon make short work of them. I haven't even flipped yet, but there are already flowers in the tent!!! Alfalfa flowers that is :D

She’s hanging to dry and then will go into jars for a few weeks to cure. ✅ About 100g in all dry weight. These buds are dense really sticky and stinking the place out. Burping daily still…👌🏼

Hola, van como un tiro se están formando los cogollos a buen ritmo, he realizado una pulverización con leaf coat, ya no pulverizaré más este cultivo, como preventivo contra plagas y hongos, crea una pelicula que impide al bichito morder la planta, la climatologia exterior ha influido esta semana a sido un bajar y subir de todo, tanto temperatura como humedad, pero he conseguido mantener unos parámetros aceptables

Beginning of week... This plant has been growing for over a month now. I didnt expect it to come out this amazing.. So now I am creating the grow diary lol. I flipped it to 12/12 this week. She was just going to be LST'd but the top had broke off while making adjustments to the LST one day earlier on.. Damnit.. She's still gonna make some dank ass nugs tho! After 3 - 4 days of 12/12 she has already begun her stretching! End of week... She has stretched some this week.. Not very much in my opinion.. But some for sure.. Not many pistils yet.. Some but no nugs building yet. When you cruch the leaves you have defoliated from this girl.. They have a more danky smell.. Its crazy.. Different than other strains I have grown.. I didnt expect leaves to carry different smells also!

Hi everyone . That was the last week, because it is very ripe and doesn't do anything anymore :-). Unfortunately, as expected, it will not exploit the giant, because I did not feed enough in weeks 3-6 🤦‍♂️🏻😂. Unfortunately, this happened because I was very busy and stressed, etc. :-) But half as wild, but the quality was sensational 😍👍. From morgeb onwards, the last time you get fresh water is set at 0.4 Ec for the next 5 days, because it is then harvested 😎👏🏻. I usually clean the system after one day and immediately insert new cuttings. I have not cut any because I am currently considering which mum cuttings come in this time. Either again the same Blue Gelato 41 Pheno from Barney's Farm, or the Gelato from Zamnesia. The blue gelato I could cut my 8 directly, with the gealto I would have to wait 3-4 weeks, that's the problem. I will decide spontaneously the days 👍. This week has been interesting. As i prommised last week i have upgraded the lights to just about 200w.tue to it being homemade i used what i had, the lights ended up being a colder tone. But more light is better i supose. Towards the end of the week there was a noticeable stretch, so there is finaly signs of flowering starting. Plants are looking really good. Started adding more potasium and phosphorus in preperation, before cuting off the nitrogen towards the end of the stretch. Any feedback is welcome, best way to improve is to learn from mistakes, but i feel like i am mising some of my mistakes.

I forgot to setup the cam for week two after adjusting the height. Oh well maybe next week. Ghetto lights again, full spectrum with some FL. LED has a 2400RPM fan on a 5LBs heat-sink it gets hot AF like 400 watts all lights from the wall. Three Types of White Light-emitting Diodes on same grow warm, neutral, and cool, with 11%, 19%, and 28% blue light, respectively. Overall, the low blue light from warm white LEDs increased stem elongation and leaf expansion, whereas the high blue light from cool white LEDs resulted in more compact plants. Initial growth under cool white LEDs should promote the growth of short, sturdy hypocotyls. Subsequent transition to warm white LEDs should promote leaf expansion. Finally, after canopy closure, cool white LEDs should be used again to prevent excessive stem elongation. These effects could also be obtained by modulating the electrical current to red and blue monochromatic LEDs, achieving different blue ratios without the requirement for two sets of LEDs. Cool white LEDs may be the light source of choice because their high percentage of blue light (25%) means that they can meet the blue light requirements for normal development, even at low PPFs. Furthermore, measurements indicate that cool white LEDs are more electrically efficient than the neutral and warm white LEDs. The efficiency of LEDs is rapidly increasing and is approaching the efficiency of HPS lamps.

Week 5 of the flowering for the gorilla gas has finished up. They are definitely smelling really nice and stacking like crazy. All different smells and sizes. The tall one is fading and could probly use some more nutrients but I'm not going to push a lot now. Just coasting till the end. 3 more weeks. Everything is looking really good for the most part.

She is doing well, running Big Rootz soil so not much is needed by way of nutes just yet. Watching for discoloring of leaves in future so I can start a 25% nute feeding regiment. Noticed last night she is already in preflower. Honestly I am pleased to see it happening sooner rather than later. She is a thirsty girl and a long grow in a solo cup sounds intimidating as hell to me lol. Decided to go for it put a nice bend on her and strapped her down for the ride!
