Borberad Sensi Seeds Research – "Cherry Strudel" Welcome to another chapter of our botanical analysis! In this project, we are examining the strain Cherry Strudel from the Research line of Sensi Seeds. A special thanks to Sensi Seeds for providing the feminized seeds for this documentation. Strain Profile – Cherry Strudel (Sensi Seeds) Genetics: This 65% Indica-dominant hybrid is a complex cross of Ed Rosenthal Super Bud and a mix of Red Velvet and Lemon Cherry Gelato. Developed in collaboration with Sherbinskis, it incorporates influences from Sunset Sherbert and Girl Scout Cookies. Growth & Morphology: The plants grow into relatively short (70 to 100 cm indoor) but very productive units. Characteristic is the classic Christmas tree shape with a dominant central cola and strong side branches, making it excellent for techniques like SCROG or Lollipopping. Flowering Duration: With 65 to 70 days, Cherry Strudel has a relatively long flowering time, which we will monitor closely in our protocol. Terpene Profile & Aroma: We expect a decadent bouquet of cherry sorbet, lemon zest, and creamy vanilla, complemented by subtle earthy undertones. Effect: The strain promises a versatile experience – starting with an euphoric energy boost that gradually transitions into a deep, physical relaxation without causing a complete "couchlock." ⚙️ Experimental Setup Our proven tier system: Start: Spiderfarmer plant stand (54W LED) at approx. 140 PPFD / 9DLI and 18h lighting. Substrate Cycle: Easyplug (30ml) ➔ Easy Cube (400ml) ➔ 3L fabric pot Microclimate: 25°C and 65-70% RH. Cherry Strudel (Sensi Seeds Research) Status: Germination at record speed Day 0.1: The package from Sensi Seeds has been received, and the seed went straight into a 1% H202 bath for 10h, then into the Easyplug. Day 0.2: Patience phase? Not at all. The Sensi genetics show enormous vitality. Day 0.3: Record time! The Cherry Strudel has already fully broken the surface. The seed leaves are open, and the first true leaf pair is already visible in the center. Due to this pace, it was directly transferred into the 400 ml Easy Cube. The DLI was increased to 16. Day 0.4: Everything under control. The plant shows extremely vigorous growth and is getting used to the "electro-sun." Day 0.5: The first true leaves are unfolding very quickly. The plant looks very robust. Day 0.6: The relative humidity is maintained at 60–65%. The surface of the cube is intentionally dried out to prevent algae. Day 0.7: Conclusion of the germination week. The Cherry Strudel shows impressive leaf development and has slightly surpassed the Hossegor in leaf span. Fertilization & Measurements: No fertilizer or water needed, as the cube is still sufficiently moist and contains nutrients. Measurements: Temp: 25°C | RH: 65-70% | Light: Increased to 245 PPFD (18h). ⚖️ Legal Notice & Compliance This diary is for scientific documentation purposes only. We guarantee strict compliance with the CanG.

Borberad Week 2 The second week was all about establishing in the Easy Cube. The little flower shows extremely high vitality, extremely fast growth, and beautiful green. The root growth has progressed so far that preparations for transplanting into the 3L Gromix are complete. Individual Analysis Development: Much faster leaf and root growth. The Cherry has already stretched its first root through the cube. Status: Ready for the move; The cube is fully rooted and she is actively searching for new substrate. Climate Values & Care Light: Spiderfarmer 18W (Germination tent) Water: Osmosis water, adjusted to EC 0.3-0.4. Special Feature: The cube was deeply moistened again to maximize root growth for the final stretch in the cube.

Borberad Week 3 Establishment in Living Soil & Setup Upgrade General Status The third week marked the crucial transition from the seedling medium (Easy Cube) to the vegetative system. The little flower has successfully moved into the 3L fabric pot into "Living Soil." At the same time, the germination tent setup from Spiderfarmer was replaced with the slightly roomier Mars Hydro shelf. Challenge: Our sprout showed strong growth ("Top-Heavy") mid-week, which the young stem could hardly support. Action: Strategic deep planting during repotting. The stem was buried relatively deep to encourage adventitious roots and shorten the leverage. Status: Complete success. The plant is now standing straight and stable without support. The leaf area has visibly increased since the move. Outlook for Week 4 Roots are expected to fully explore the 3L pot. First root check planned for mid-week.

Borberad Week 4 begins. A bit too wet. The transition from Floragard Growmix with organic liquid fertilizer to Herbis Livingsoil is still challenging, especially in the still small pots.

Borberad Grows very nicely and takes its time, hasn't visibly switched to flowering yet and therefore only shows minimal stretching so far.

Happy Harvest Day!

A great plant that impressed with a beautiful fade over the last 1.5 weeks. Its color changed from vibrant green to bright red. The size was moderate and optimal for light training. The buds showed a mature state early on, but waiting pays off not just for the looks; the terpenes shift towards fruity sweet at the end. Awesome flower!

Borberad Overall, a top result with almost 500g. Only 230g of the prettiest buds were brought to dry in the Troll. The rest unfortunately has to go back through the worms and can only serve as good compost in one of the next runs. Update to follow. Thanks again to Sensi Seeds for providing the seeds and of course to everyone who has taken a look or is taking a look.

Nothing against a sedating lady. In the evening, kick back on the couch and give that stressful workday a kick in the ass. Greetings from the south (Luckily not Bavaria). Good luck in the final stretch, growmie. 😏😉

@Stony_German, 😂 That's right, to give the evening that extra touch of calm and peace, the ladies are important too. However, we were pretty late with our Hossegor. 🙄

@CologneGrow, You could also use that 🤔. It’s actually a plant heating mat. I mounted it on the side, otherwise the wick system wouldn’t work.

Well controlled balance and nutrient assimilation in that grow. I invite you to check out my profile to see the work I'm doing with my plant nutrition protocols, and let's share some info among colleagues. Cheers, and keep up that excellent level with the watering and diet of your plants!
