Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I did some HST bending on my photos and cut down 2 of the 3 Blackberry’s. The branches are starting to recover and straighten out after the HST now. I still have some issues with pale leaves and a few spots here and there. I’m going to try adding some Dolomite Lime with the next watering and think that should help with the paleness. I’m also going to up the amount of CalMag and Mammoth P to see if that helps with the spotting. I’m not sure if I should see the spotted leaves recover or if the spots will remain. I suspect the spots will remain on the existing leaves regardless of what I do at this point, but hopefully no new spotting will develop. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. Also all close up pics of the Critical+ are with the lights off and flash on. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. This week Went very uneventful. Reduced the fertilizer down to 600ppm and flushed twice on Wednesday and Thursday, on Wednesday I still had 100ppm in the tank after the second flush it went down to 0. Kept her in darkness until Friday night and then started chopping her down.

Week 9

Hello Diary, The third week of flowering has ended, Cherry Pie is progressing very nicely, which is clearly visible in the photos. Cherry Pie has almost stopped growing, it has grown a scant 3 cm, which means that that is more or less the height. 72 cm is almost ideal considering the size of the grow box. The main cola rises high above the other branches, it is completely covered with flowers. As for the flowers, they are developing nicely, it is still early to make any predictions, but if it continues to develop like this, I will be very happy. Cherry Pie has also started to smell more intensely, when I open the grow box, the smell is immediately noticeable. The leaves are a healthy green color, there are no signs of a lack of anything. Watering has become more frequent, they have become much thirstier. I have continued to add CalMg and Bio Bloom Fertilizer with each watering. All in all, I am very pleased with how Cherry Pie is progressing, I try to provide them with the best possible conditions and the plants return the favor in their own way. Here is what the past week looked like. 29/08/2024 - Day 36. Watering. I prepared 9 liters of water, added CalMg and Bio Bloom Fertiliser and lowered the pH to 6.0. With that amount of water I watered all three plants on the "Farm". 01/09/2024 - Day 39. Watering. I repeated the same procedure as three days earlier. 03/09/2024 - Day 41. Watering. Same procedure. 04/09/2024 - Day 42. End of the 6th week, or the third week of flowering. Photographing and measuring the height of the plants. Cherry Pie - Day 42. - 72 cm. Da oltre venti anni che coltivo e sono sempre più felice della qualità proposta da queste magnifiche banche semi! Complimenti di cuore a chi ha selezionato e creato queste varietà autofiorenti. Crescono rapidamente,resistono agli afidi e alcune sfiorano il metro di altezza, tutte insieme sembrano una mini foresta! Iniziano a fiorire gradualmente ed essendo molto diramate tutte è spettacolare nel vederle! Appare la prima resina e sono in ottima salute. Sono felice fino ad adesso perché se guardate foto e video vi rendete conto che qui nel centro Italia in outdoor biologico abbiamo il migliore clima che si possa desiderare anche se questo 2023 fino a metà maggio ha piovuto tantissimo e ci sono stati sbalzi di temperatura, ciò non è stato un problema per queste varietà così forti e abbondanti! Adesso la magia è iniziata, il caldo è arrivato e non vedo l'ora di vederle piene di infiorescenze tutte! Si procede felicemente, un abbraccio a tutti!

Hello people, its been a good week Renaissance. She took well to PK 13/14 and is on Full Cruise now 🙌 There IS a slight tip burn which I am confident, will not spread further because I have already dimmed the Renaissance' side of the light to 75% brightness, besides I will lower the nutes now as well which should help. She smells very spicy (or minty perhaps) and flowery herbal undertones and is extremely sticky, more than the white widows. Her characteristics are supposed to be 80% Sativa. With THC content at around 10% and CBD at 4%. PK 13/14 will be stopped now (been 7 days), with lower A & B from here on. Take care all cya next week 🙏

Defoliated some leaves to let light in, chopped one down early as I run out of bud 🙄 it's good for less than 4 weeks flowering. Have them rice water starch again this week in with there food. A layer of frost is slowly forming 😎 hopefully they will fatten up nice and frost up really good to 🤞

Como mencionaba en el 1er video por intensas lluvias y vientos, la planta más grande se ha partido, intente "repararlo" pero será cuestión de días para ver si ha sobrevivido o no. Por las dudas he regado( a pesar de la lluvia) 1ml x litro de agua. La cantidad de la misma fue de 3litros con flora booster.

I started Flushing two plants as there nearing the end of there days. I'll start Flushing the others this week apart from the kalimist indica pheno as it started flowering 3 or so weeks after the others even though they were all forced together. (alkward bugger) Some of the plants are showing red /purple colours a little bit 👍

It's seems that Athena finally stopped her stretch and hoping that Xena will follow her sister very soon. Buds are gaining weight and size rapidly. Lots of nice colours and tonnes of trichomes on those buds already. Week 10 Dec 18-24 Dec 18-19 Mainly observation. Xena is still stretching like crazy. both girls are developing beautifully. Dec 20 First watering for this week. 7.5 ltr beetwen both. Runoffs PH's Athena 6.2 Xena 6.3. Dec 21 Due to lack of light at lower parts of conopy decided for another selective defoliation, lowered a bit tallest branches with colas dangerously close to light by tieing them to netting. Couple cm will make a huge difference here. Could not clear well at the back wall of the cabinet due to limited access.I'm very happy with final result. Dec 22-23 Joyful observation of my 🍌💜👊girls development 🧑‍🌾 Dec 24 All is looking great. It's seems that stretch is finally stopped. Girls looking healthy and happy. Pulled the second cherry Cola today and it looks and smells just like heaven , some nice pinks , purples and greens . Plants look to be around 12 oz together but we’ll see how they dry .
