Our beauty is looking good, isn't she? Her buds are thickening and the trichomes getting more of that gorgeous purple color. Some are already cloudy, few (most of them are damaged, probably due to looking at them under our mikroskopic lense too closely) turned amber. Harvest is set to be at week 8 in flower, so it's 2 weeks from now on, but we'll see how she develops by then. Smell-wise it's pretty bareable right now; we feared that our whole apartment would smell like a huge coffeeshop in amsterdam, but by keeping the door to our "growroom" closed you can hardly smell anything. It's only when touching some frosty leaves while defoliating that you get some of the strain-specific scents, mostly consisting of citrusy aroma with earthy undertones. Temperature is stable right now; the severe heat wave should be gone for the next weeks and by meagerly opening the door we can adjust the temperatures quite good. Humidity is also pretty solid thanks to our dehumidifier.

7/19: Started new nutrients today. Filled gallon jug with new nutes. Poured half of new nute mix in half gallon jug. Poured the entire half gallon jug into reservoir. 7/20: Bumped light intensity to 50% 7/21: Filled reservoir to the 2nd line today. Added a total of 1 gallon to res to get it to that line. Poured the rest of the mixed nutes for this week (half gallon) and then another half gallon of just plain water. 7/24: Bumped light intensity to 55% 7/25: Sadness today 😞.. While in the process of doing more LST today I accidentally snapped the main stem. I Panicked! Moved plant back in opposite direction to counteract the split. 4/14 everythings looking good. Could probably harvest now. Its good to note that this specific strain finishes super early and I feel like itd be a super excellent choice for SOG style growing 4/18 shes not really drinking water anymore. The lower nugs are frosting up super thick. Soon till be time to chop her

So it is officially Day 28, start of week 4. This girl has been EXTREMELY STINKY since her 2nd set of leaves, a trait I have learned will generally yield some GASSY and DANK flower. I decided to remove all the fan leaves but the last 2 all the way at the top. The goal is to have all the internodes turn into multiple branches that can be clipped and cloned. No issues so far. Will keep everyone posted. I also applied some LST clips to the lower internode offshoots.

Hi 420 Family. Start of week 6, and we are well into the blooming stage. So far so good, these ladies have gained a lot of growth over the past 2 weeks, they have stretched a lot and have now shifted their energy into making buds. The one WW is a little ahead of the rest in maturity it seems, the other two WW's not far behind. PL's I think will flower for an extra week or two looking at the bud sites and the pistils. At this stage they are getting about 1L of bloom feed every 1.5 days but it does seem to pick up and they are getting more thirsty every watering. I guess they will eventually settle on about 1L per day. D36 - 11 Aug - All good and no complaints, other than the stretchy PL's. Let's hope they just make for awesome bud sites. D38 - 13 Aug - Steady as it goes... Bud sites are forming nicely and I have not again spotted any sacks on the WW that initial had about 6/8 sacks on the oldest branches, nodes closest to the main stem. Very happy that I didn't kill her; I am still keeping a close eye tho. The PL's have again stretched a little bit but not as much as last week, thank goodness. They were watered yesterday morning and will be letting them dry out properly before giving them another feeding. Things are moving along as they should. I've been keeping a closer eye on the pH in the trays themselves (as opposed to in the reservoir only) due to some noticeably high pH (>7) in the trays. Doing so seems to have halted any further chlorosis (yellowing of leaves). Additionally, I've started supplementing with Orca as well to help with controlling algae in the reservoir as well as giving the plants a bit of a boost to root health. We'll see how that goes.

This week was amazing to see the growth really start. Felt like a little kid again when observing the first pointy leaves that come through! To think these 9 are going to provide us with the most beautiful, versatile plant on our planet, is just awesome. Eradicating the need to fuel crime by putting money in dealers pockets, and taking full control of the wonders I’ll be inhaling and consuming. They didn’t need much attention day to day, just moving windowsills morning/afternoon, and watering when the soil/pots looked dry. Thankfully haven’t had much trouble with them, although one of the FastBuds original AK’s isn’t looking so great. She’s not as developed as the others as you can see. She’s not received any different treatment or water or anything different at all to the others. Maybe I need to investigate more. I’ve decided to try stay as organic as possible with this grow. With that said, I’ve been brewing up a nettle tea to make a good nitrogen feed for the girls. Nitrogen is said to be needed most during veg stage, so preparing as much as I can.

WEEK 8 These banana purple are looking 🔥🔥 2 plants now starting to show that amazing purple colour 1 more is also coming along with some hints. I will be buzzing if they all go purple lol. Had some issues with PH last week so they have had fresh nutes and adjusted PH to 6.5 now. It was on 7.5 because of uncalibrated pen. Sticking to the advanced nutrient feeding chart for autoflowers atm I may do a week flush yet just to get rid of any excess buildup and start again on bloom and boosters. A couple of these are behind by a couple of weeks I think. I took off a few more leaves that were barely getting and light and a few nodes at the bottom. Just to keep that airflow going between stems and the top. The Rest are powering through it! So no more defoilation on the late ones💪 Buzzing with results so far! Update next week 👊

Day 78 Day 28 flower 19/07/24 Friday Started the week with a good watering as she had a double feed end of last week. She took 4L de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 and no run off, added another 1L and see run off forming on all sides. She is a happy, strong 💪 plant !! The buds development is nice on this strain! I like to see the calyxes stacked like this, I'll get some macros tomorrow. Smelling like lemon sherbet it's insane 🤯 or a old school sweety shop. Day 79 Day 29 flower 20/07/24 Saturday Nothing to report. Day 80 Day 30 Flower 21/07/24 Sunday Big feed again, de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 added nutrients. Seeing her stack now 🤩 Smells getting stronger daily 🙌 💚 Added a short video. Day 81 Day 31 Flower 22/07/24 Monday De-chlorinated tap water only today pH 5.9 and watered in 5L had a little run off. She is getting so thirsty it's awesome! She is starting to stack them calyxes. Update on pictures and video 📸🤩 Day 82 Day 32 Flower 23/07/24 Tuesday FEED again today , De-chlorinated tap water pH 6. Full 5L had about 300ml run off. She is so thirsty !! 5L a day now. Vemos que las 5 están en perfectas condiciones, tienen un buen color y van creciendo a buen ritmo. Empiezo por supuesto abonando una pequeña cantidad de la gama Agrobeta. La temperatura está un pelín alta 26 grados y la humedad anda entorno al 55%. Riego cada 48 horas y suelo pulverizar con agua para aumentar un poco la humedad ambiental. Hasta aquí es todo estas próximas semanas veremos cómo van avanzando. Switching them to overdrive this week not got a lot to say about them as they aren't doing the best, I haven't bother taking any pics of plant 1 as she's bare will probably chop her down for butter.

Seed was put in a glass of water on the 2nd of January 20:00 (8PM). Around 15h later it sunk to the bottom and I transferred it to a wet paper towel inside a zip. Around 51h later (so ~36h inside zip) the seed had not yet opened. I am a little worried, but at the same time not because I've looked up what the pro's say and some of them don't even look at the seed until after the seed has spent at least 48h inside the paper towel. I will be patient and wait for the seed to open. After the seed has opened I will be even more patient and let the root grow for a bit. I have grown 2 of these plants in my lifetime and first time was really good, second time was very bad, and the second time I planted it when the root was ~1mm long. I will not rush things this time. I will also be careful to not let the root grow too long. If I'll have it my way, then I'll be planting this baby tomorrow evening, so in a bit less than 24h from now. If I have to reschedule then it will probably be planted on the 6th of January. Worst case scenario: We have to restart with a new seed. Bless you. Update 5 Jan 2022 17:29 (05:29 PM): We have a root! The seed has opened ever so slightly and the root has grown more and more during today. I want the root to grow a tiny bit longer before I plant it. I will take another look before bedtime. Update 5 Jan 2022 20:43 (08:43 PM): Root has not grown much since the last picture, will plant tomorrow. Update 6 Jan 2022 10:05 (10:05 AM): Will plant later. Root is too short. Update 6 Jan 2022 15:00 (03:00 PM): Root is still shorter than I had in mind but my patience has ran out and I think it is still a fine length for the seed to do really good. I also have very good soil for her with claimed great amount of nutrients for seedlings. When it gets large enough I will transplant her to a 11L pot. The 11L pot has been filled with more than 11L soil. Probably around 15L. By the way, the plant has a name, her name is "Satan" but is referred to as a "she". Update 12 Jan 2022 18:00 (06:00 PM): We have a sprout! I saw the sprout some hours ago. I am sure that I planted the seed quite perfectly in the middle. However, the sprout happened very much to the side. I suspect that there was something in the soil that might blocked the sprout. So far it looks like we planted Satan on the 6th of January and we got a sprout on the 12th. I will consider Satan to be in germination stage until it grows a little more. Then I will treat it like she's in the vegetative phase. ----------------------------- SUMMARY: Day 1-21 in Satans life has been so wonderful. Not a minute goes by without me feeling euphoric about her. Every day when I wake up I go to the grow-room and tell her good morning. I hold her largest leaf between my thumb and index-fingers to hold leaf (hold hand) and we just hold leaf together for a few seconds while I admire her beauty. She is so absolutely gorgeous and kind and she is also very happy with her environment. I already have another plant in another grow-room which also is a Northern Lights and I have kept a diary of her as well, just not on growdiaries.com (everything is kept in a Word-document). This other plant is called Kim, named after Kim Jong-Un. Kim and her diary is going to be utilized as a "roadmap" for Satan, so I should know what to expect and when to expect it. I also did a few mistakes with Kim, such as water too much or let her grow with way too much nitrogen in the air. Satan will instead be the best grow I have ever done - hopefully.
