Hello Growmies, As we step into the eighth week of our Watermelon Candy F1 Hybrids' flowering stage, the dance of growth and aroma continues to enchant our senses. These delightful plants, sharing their space with Epic Buzz and Red Banana Pudding varieties, inch ever closer to the pinnacle of their bloom. The Watermelon Candy cultivars are flourishing with an undeniable zest, their foliar tapestry thick with the potential of what's to come. The air is thick with their intoxicatingly sweet scent, a testament to their namesake, and their buds are expanding with satisfying robustness. Plant #1 is maintaining its lead with a striking bud formation, clearly thriving in the consistent environment of the Tent-X system. Plant #2 and Plant #3 are not far behind, with each showing a wealth of budding sites and a sprawling canopy that speaks to a bountiful harvest ahead. Despite being under a 12/12 light cycle along with the photoperiod plants, which may limit their yield compared to a 20/4 cycle, these plants are putting on a splendid show. Chance of a Lifetime Greenhouse Seeds Competition Wonder Pie 8th May 2020 When I first saw that Greenhouse seeds were running a Worldwide competition I was amazed because Australia does not normally get included in such things, especially involving Cannabis. But I knew straight away that this was the chance of a Lifetime for me so I applied straight away. When I got the email saying I was in I was over the moon with happiness. The Contest will see the winning Diary/Grower win a trip to Amsterdam for two with accommodation in the apartment above the famous Green House smokeshop. To be in the running I simply applied to grow one of their chosen strains with their own Nutrients (greenhouse feeding) I picked and was very luckily accepted to grow the "Wonder Pie" strain alongside the Greenhouse feeding Bio Feed Range. Here is a little bit of info on the "Wonder pie" strain courtesy of Seedfinder.eu Wonder Pie, sweet, fruity and petrol aroma It is a wonderful hybrid between two really powerful lineages, Wedding Cake Cannabis Strain (aka Triangle Mints: Triangle Kush x Animal Mints) and OG Kush (Chemdawg x [Lemon Thai x Hindu Kush, Pakistan)]. It produces tall plants with a vigorous and branchy development with flexible but strong branches. It develops an ideal structure for applying pruning and moulding methods such as topping, LST or Main Linning. It also offers good results when cultivated in SCROG. These optimisation techniques help both to control its size and structure and to maximise the harvest by enhancing bud production. To win this would be a dream come true as I have always wanted to travel to Amsterdam ever since watching Cheech n Chongs Movie Still Smokin back in the 1980's as a teenager. The first steps to starting my grow are preparing my grow area, which involves a thorough cleaning with bleach. Then I set up lights and fans etc and test it all to make sure everything is working. Then on the 4th of May I recieved the seeds in the mail and immediately began to soak four seeds in some tepid water overnight before transferring them into a moistened piece of paper towel then into a ziplock baggie for another 12 hours. From there all germinated seeds will go into the rockwool cubes for about a week before being moved into the final grow out pots. From there they will veg for 7-8 weeks before I flip to 12/12 and flower them accordinly. As of today (8th May 2020) I have 3 healthy seedlings from the four seeds I soaked. So now they are up it's officially Game On 🙏 I am still waiting for the Greenhouse Feeding to arrive but thats ok because I won't need it for about a week. I chose 12 Litre Fabric pots because of the height limitations in my Grow tent (need a bigger one but cant afford it at the moment ) as soon as the powdered feeding arrives I'll mix the required amounts straight into the pots so they are ready for when I transplant the seedlings into them. Hey Growmies! The harvest results are in! Growdiaries' harvest section is infamously confusing, with it being split up into harvest and smoke review: Here's my end results: 44g of larf 236g of high Quality bud with that out the way, this grow was great, both in yield and quality, the genetics really hit it out of the park, thank you Dutch Passion for hosting this contest and providing these seeds for free. I find my yield from this plant insane, especially for an auto, during the dry I found a singular cola had mold issues, I threw that flower away and I still broke my previous records

Something was causing my predator mites to eat my leaves. I added lady bugs and nematodes which solved the issue.

Pungently smelly with unreal amounts of crystal it’s swelling by the day such dense rock hard buds best strain I’ve ever grown 😜 @fastbuds have absolutely cracked it with this strain it’s more then perfect 10/10 💪💪💪👏 Took a little sample bud today to see what she is like it seems too early but it looks done one of the plants is strange

Hello growers, -April 22- MK2 has already starting to show vertical growth which is very surprising. She was given some left over alfalfa tea (0.1L) and has getting sprayed with water every 2-3 days. MK1 was moved over to her new home which is 3 gallon pot. (Ran out of 1 gals). She is a lot slower but roots did start to show around April 18th. She has a cup over her to help keep her RH up. She also has a little yellowing of the leaves but very minimal. -April 25- MK2 got some serious growth going so decided to start LST. She did have some red stem issues so nothing major. MK1 still coming a long at her own pace. I'll also add some update pics of the mothers as they go through flower. Not every week as this diary is for the clones.

Excellent growth,.. all look so healthy, pink lemonade actually smells like lemonade, who'd of thought lol .... blackberry's smell nice and fruity also .. roll on next week 👌

Hi all👨‍🌾👋 Welcome to my another week update Hope everyone keeping well 🧑‍🌾 Week 7 Mar 15 - Mar 21 Another easy and pleasant week. Girls are super healthy and strong. It's seems that both will go full purple 😁 absolutely love it 😍 On Mar 17 Selective defoliation, training on branches and watering with bloom nutes. 7 ltrs beetwen both. Small runoffs with perfect 6.5 ph. Didn't notice any signs of stress. Girls bounced back within an hour. Second watering on Mar 21 7ltr beetwen both. Light dimmer at 65 watts. Humidity at 45% on avg when lights on and 50-55% when off. Really enjoyable grow this one. Almost no work around as no issues at all.
